DW CS3 behaviors navigation bar

I try to get two navigation bars, a distinction for the page you. The url is: www.lotusvalleydesigns.com/meixnerconstruction/home.html

What I want is for the navigation bar of stay red for the page that you are on the spry navigation bar. In the lower navigation bar, I want to keep it yellow for the page you.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

No doubt you'll have something like this-

Home page| Security |<>
href = "services.html" > Our Services | Our team |
Contact us |
Links
----------------------------------------^^^^^^^
(don't know why it's there - I'll delete it)

So that-

Home page|
ID = 'security' > Security | Our
Services
| Our team |<>
href = "contact.html" id = "contact" > contact us | "
ID = 'links' > links

You can use a style sheet to the head of a special page like this-

(on the Security page)

or it-

(on the links page)

Did fall a penny?

  • Strange behavior Navigation bar

I am designing a web page for not-for-profit organization.

Unfortunately, I'm running into some strange behavior problems with the navigation bar.
The tabs in my run from the left navigation bar. The links to the left of the link, which is never active links are visited through the navigation bar, stop working. For the life of me I can't understand why!

The pages are arranged so that each page has three html files. File of a single body, a single navigation bar with its tab file respective hilighted and a small file that simply loads the two, one above the other. The tabs in the navigation bar are related to the file then load the body and navigation (of course). Click on a tab to the right of the current tab loads everything perfectly. However, if the active tab is the tab more right, the tabs on the left no longer work correctly. They seem to recharge of the navigation bar, but the body is left behind and the URL always seems to be the right-most tab.

Here is an example of my current site: current Site
Through the four tabs at the top, you can quickly see things go wrong.
The drop down menu allows access to the same pages that the navigation bar won't load.

If you could please take a look at the site and respond with comments or suggestions as to what could go wrong or that I could do about it, I would be very grateful.

Note that I already read something about strange navigation bar behavior caused by names starting with the picture number. This is not what is happening here, as are the names of my image "image 1" etc.

Also note that I use dreamweaver8

Thanks in advance for your help.

They are all coded the same. Some have target = "_top" and it varies from one page to the next.

  • Is there a way to show "Bookmark toolbar items" in the Navigation bar, without its setting in the overflow chevron?

Today I updated to 31.0 30.0 FF, but he eventually change the placement of my toolbar items. Originally, I did ensure that bookmarks toolbar items were placed in the Navigation bar, as well as my icon options firefox 3-bar and bookmarks, download. But now, the bookmarks toolbar items is placed in the overflow chevron icon, as well as other elements of the toolbar (for example, downloading and the extension of Pocket icon).

Is there a way to prevent this behavior, or should I try to move everything to another toolbar?

Here are a few screenshots that describes my problem:
Installation of original toolbar (30.0 FF): https://www.dropbox.com/s/76ovfh2f929n8o4/firefox31.0toolbaroriginal.png
Changed the configuration of the toolbar (31,0 FF): https://www.dropbox.com/s/qrrllq8m7a98yjl/firefox31.0toolbarchanged.PNG

In the previous thread we found not somehow integrated to move the items in toolbar of bookmarks on another bar that worked. See: why 31 FF no longer displays my items in toolbar bookmarks in an another toolbar. Maybe someone can develop a custom style rule or any other hack to make it work.

  • How to search engine choices do not apply to the navigation bar

    To reproduce:
-set google as default search engine
-Select an item in the search panel (not google)
-Type a query in the navigation bar (only text)
    -press on enter
Early in this case google search was conducted
Now you can search via the search engine selected in the search panel.

Is it possible to change this behavior, as it was?

It is an intentional change in Firefox 23 and upward. It also applies to the search box on: home.

You can use the keyword search to get back to the old behavior. It is available here:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/keyword-search/

See also this issue of support for general information on the change of function:

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/967150

    I hope this helps.

  • Make the fixed Navigation bar drop Menus still appear on the top

You can see my problem here

Using Dreamweaver - how do the fixed Navigation bar down Menus still appear on the top - YouTube

I'm not too familiar with dreamweaver and don't know how to ask this question or even don't know where is the problem. I did the navigation bar have a fixed position, but the rest of the items would appear on top of the value net asset bar when I scrolled down. How to make the navigation bar always be above all down the screen so the menus and submenus appear always on top?

Do you want to say just do a div boxes style line as I want them to look in a row? What method would you use to make the color change and also enable it to have a direct link? In DW I usually use image swap behavior for a change on mouse over.

Browser security.  Users need to know where the content of your pop-up comes from (your name domain or someone else).  There is no way around this in the pop-up windows.

An alternative approach, using a modal window like Lightbox or FloatBox and an iframe.

If your local content is short, you can use one of the Javascript alert boxes.

  • Flash Nav file will not 'sit' on the navigation bar Image loaded in DWCS3

Since I am not fully qualified (or hardly) on correct terminology, I included the site evidence at the beginning of this discussion.

    http://www.fairwoodcommunitynews.com/Alphatest/HomeTest2.html

I created a floating boom in Flash CS3; It follows the mouse flies above the Nav links.  I want the arrow to sit directly on the bar, which is a jpeg loaded in my page DWCS3.

Currently, the flash file seems to be sitting directly on the nav bar graph.  For the flash file, I chose to align "Low absolute" and for navigation bar Image, I chose align them 'Top', but these two choices does not work.

Can someone help me with this?  THANKS in advance.

I want to be sure that the base of the arrow key actually the bar, giving the impression that it slides along the horizontal bar not hovering over the bar.

If you leave detail like this control you, he'll go crazy and eat up to 100% of your time. Move on to more important things.  Or otherwise, to build the navigation bar all in Flash.

  • How do the States applied to the navigation bar appears on every page

    Hello.

I created the new States on my nav bar items in the master page with the associated behavior. States work very well on the master page, but when I go to other pages that have the navigation bar on the master page, States seem not deferred. Specifically, the hover and down and lower States do not appear on the navigation bar in the pages other than the captain. I was under the impression that if I created these States in the master on the navigation bar, they appear and work the same on all other pages. Is this correct? What I am doing wrong? What should I do?

    Thank you!

You may need to assign an equal number of States at each page, so that

images from the navigation bar to be displayed. It doesn't have to be something in these

States, but they are necessary in order to reproduce the number of States

    in the navigation bar.

  • How to position a navigation bar?

I have a picture on the side of my website I'm building. I want to place on top of this image (navigation bar) navigation buttons, but I can't understand how to position the buttons correctly. I can't get the bar to float to the right side. How better to position the navigation bar? Can anyone give me a tip? I'm using CS3 on Mac.
    Thank you
    Lou

1] use layers of the AP. Paste the image into a layer. Paste the navigation bar in a
layer. The layer. Not recommended as AP layers will probably
    cause you headaches.

2 If your navigation bar buttons are images and no text, recreate the buttons
in Photoshop/Fireworks blend into the background, slice it, and
Put the pieces back into a table. Kind of recommended, but
    not the best solution.

[3] use as defined in the CSS background image. The navigation bar will sit on
back on top of the background. Best solution, but requires some comfort
    with CSS.

I'm sorry to tell you that the first thing you need to do is to get rid of
the method that you used. It is quite ancient and has been designed for box
pages. It adds a bit of extra code (of which a part is not valid)
your page than the alternative of using an image quite ordinary swaps for
    your menu.

So, just create your menu from the top images in each row and use Swap of DW
the behavior of the image on each.

And put some tape on this option on the navigation bar, so that you do not use

  • Navigation bar is empty. Customize Firefox page is empty. Any ideas?

I love Firefox - used it for years.

Since yesterday, my navigation bar is empty - that is to say, there is no evidence that even if it is enabled.

And when I go to 'Customize firefox' to restore the default settings, it is just a blank page.

I uninstalled Firefox and did a new install and that didn't fix it.

I drove back to v38 and it has not fixed either.

8.1 win with all the updates in place, 64-bit, Firefox v39.0.

Any ideas that I prefer Firefox to Chrome, but it is currently unusable?

(Editor's Note sure if my image upload work - looks like in the web page is having issues because it is a very small file.)

    Try Firefox refresh

If this help then try to reinstall, but this time clean reinstall that is to delete the details of files (NOT the profile with settings) of the Firefox program as follows:
(Please back too tell how and what you've tried)

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you delete your Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. This process does not delete your Firefox profile (such as bookmarks and passwords) data, since this information is stored in a different location.

To do a clean reinstall of Firefox, follow these steps: Note: you can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use a program to uninstall third party as part of that process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.
