Dynadock U3 - mousepointer disappears in Win8

Hello

I use a U3 Dynadock on a Smart PC to another manufacturer with a processor Intel ATOM-(Win8 32-bit).

The only problem that occurs is, when I go to the mode Office Win8 the mouspointer disappears from time to time. This occurs when the mouse is connected to the Dynadock station and also directly connected to the tablet.
Metro-mode mousepointer works very well.

If the Tablet is not connected to the mousepointer Dynadockstation works also very well (in both modes).

I have no idea how to solve this problem.

Kind regards

Peter

Hello

To be honest, I've never used a Dynadock within the framework of a Tablet and from my point of view, it would be possible that both devices would not work without problem.
I use the Dynadock under my laptop running Win 8 and mouse works correctly.

Just one question: you use the latest version of the software for this Dynadock?
You can get the latest version of the driver from this page:
http://www.DisplayLink.com/support/downloads.php

Here also is a beautiful document providing information [how to install the Dynadock using Win 8 | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/OPT2B03F00002R01.htm]

  • window disappears when reduced win8.1

    Hello
When I reduce my 25 firefox window by clicking on the icon in the taskbar, it disappears in a background process. This happened only since I've updated to win 8.1. with victory 8.0, I observed this behavior.
I can't find the missing window under "recently closed tabs" or in the history. I can't access it again by clicking the icon in the taskbar. If, however, I click on a bookmark from one of the tabs that are open in the missing window, it opens again with all active tabs. This behavior makes it almost impossible to reasonably work with firefox. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

There is a new driver for graphics card for Windows 8

Dynadock supports an own GPU, so you have to install the driver that is compatible with the system.

I'm afraid I have no idea what I need to install to get my Bluetooth works again. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    > My laptop has Intel wireless card as I guess all of this model have, so why is listed Atheros?
Because different models of Satellite R830 supports different Wlan cards from different manufacturers.

    > I'm afraid I have no idea what I need to install to get my Bluetooth works again. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Your laptop supports the network adapter Intel wireless (with feature of BT). For cards Intel WLan no Bluetooth filter package must be installed.
In your case its just to install the Intel Wlan driver, battery Toshiba Bt and the Toshiba system driver

  • Dynadock VGA - monitor suddenly freezes and disappears

    OK, maybe a little cryptic.
What happens is this: I have a laptop Zepto Znote with a 8600 M GeForce graphics card. I want to use it as my only computer, but I'm 100% dependant on a Setup dual monitor in my industry (media works with a video on one and a script on the other).

On XP and Vista 32, I managed to install everything (and I tried with the Toshiba drivers and latest drivers Display Link) and the monitor of the work.

But after a random period of time, a minute and up to 15 minutes (which is the longest, I managed to work this far) the monitor on the Dynadock just hangs on the current image page, and I can't get the mouse to the top on this monitor more. The program running on this screen (often of Foxit PDF reader or Word) has now jumped to the main monitor, behind the active program.

The Dynadock secondary monitor is disabled in the display manager, and if I activate it again nothing happens. I have to restart the computer without the trendy Dynadock and then plug it in.

She will work for a few minutes again, and we're back to the same problem. I tried to update the LAN drivers and display link drivers and by disabling the LAN, but who did nothing.
And this can happen even if I do something on the secondary monitor or when the display is a static image.

What kind of image does not seem to matter either. Can someone help me please?

    Hello

On the Toshiba driver page, you will find a new update of the Dynadock software.
First, you must remove the old software Dynadock and after again restart should reinstall the new update.

Do you know where to find this software?
    Visit European driver Toshiba, then choose;

    Hi all

    I own and DV6 7078 ca (6 months warranty) equipped with Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2230.

With Win7, I used the bluetooth without any problem and there was a device in the Device Manager with a name similar to "Intel Bluetooth" under network adapters.

After the upgrade of Win8 I already installed all the drivers, but does not have the Bluetooth It.

    > There is no component in my device manager asking drivers. everything has been recognized.

    > Under network adapters, there are 3 entrances, but my bluetooth is not there. What I have listed in this category is:

    -Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230

    -Microsoft Kernel Debug network adapter

    -Realtek PCIe BGE family control.

I tried to download drivers bluetooth drivers HP my laptop and also direct from Intel page.

    My bluetooth is still dead...

    Help, please.

    Thank you

When my bluetooth was working on Windows7 I used to activate only when it was necessary. When I tried to plug in devices. So when I installed Win8 it was disabled on HP Connection Manager in Win7.

I have reinstaled Win7, the related bluetooth drivers and then HP Connection Manager. Enabled the bluetooth in Win7 on HP Connection Manager, worked. Then I went back to Win8 and bluetooth appeared. Now it's working.

I only wish that person HP spoke about this problem. That there is no document saying that the bluetooth needs to be activated in Windows7 throught HP Connection Manager prior to reimage the computer...

In Win7 HP connection manager disable the bluetooth in a level of material than Win8 can't same identidy there will always be a bluetooth adapter it.

  • Satellite Pro L450D-12 X - Wireless card in the process of disappearance

    Hi guys,.

So, I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro (L450D-12 X) in my possession.

She has 8 installed inside windows (but came pre-installed with windows 7).

The problem I face is that, suddenly, the wireless still endangered, literally as no wireless card exists - but there is a wireless card.

I was able to fix it by reinstalling windows 8 OS. It worked only for a little while and then it disconnects / disappears. No wireless in the "map settings" icon Only the "ethernet" adapter
Cannot search or browse for wireless network either.

Since the fix above was not permanent, started the service that controls the card wireless among others who are associated with what this either wireless (don't remember the name) - it worked again.

Now it has stopped. Well, I'm not with the laptop at the time, I said there and all attempts to restart the service via the phone, does not provide any solution.

    Any ideas guys?

    All responses appreciated.

Problem is that your laptop model is NOT supported for Win8.
What WLAN driver have you installed?
    Where did you find?

When you are faced with this problem wireless network card is listed in the Device Manager?

  • Satellite Z830 - 10K - charts using Dynadock U3 error

    Dear customer supports,
    Dear users,

The following problem with my Toshiba Satellite Z830 - 10 K.

I use a Toshiba Dynadock USB 3.0 to connect to a LG monitor with 1920 px. Graphics works very well here. Also, when I used the ultrabook without the docking station, everything was fine. However, since I'm on the docking station I have a graphic on my screen error when I use the ultrabook without (!) the docking station.

I have attached a screenshot and an image:
    http://www.PIC-upload.de/view-14877517/picture.jpg.html

What's happening is directly from the start-up phase, the display shows several white lines on the right hand of the screen view. Some disappear, stay longer.

However, the area where these lines occur is limited to the middle of the screen.
Therefore, I can't work with the last right of 3 cm from my screen.
    What causes this problem?

Interestingly, the screenshot all right, but on the picture you can see the actual result.

I have installed the latest graphics driver.
    Any ideas?
    Hardware or software problem?

Hmmmm... It is not easy to say what may be the problem.
Try please check http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php and maybe you should install the latest driver available on this page to see if the problem persists.

  • Audio choppy and distorted on Portege Z930 after update of Win7 for Win8 64

I just wanted to share a tip with you that cost me some time to work, about the sound reproduction of a Portege Z930.

    When I got my new Z930 - 14L, he was running Win7.
I tried everything like you do when you get a new machine and it worked fine - including the audio playback.

When I updated for Win8-64 since the CD that came with the computer, everything still seemed to work very well and I had not changed any driver or Setup.

However, after a few minutes, the linenn of audio playback. It choppy, distorted, interrupted, stuttering and I was shocked.

Oddly enough, as soon as I turned my attention to the computer again, reading was OK again - but no screen saver came and no power saving mode has come in so little time. I knew that this was no hardware problem (because it worked in Win7), it was not a driver problem (because the first 5 minutes, the sound was pristine), he was not a ground loop, (as many have suggested) because it sounds differently.

Thanks to another forum, I discovered that it is actually the combination of Windows Defender, Win8-64 Pro and the audio driver that causes this. If the device is idle for a few minutes, the Defender thinks it's a good idea to use idle time to scan the SSD - causing interference with audio playback. Of course, you cannot simply disable or stop the central antivirus process, that would ruin some the whole point. :-)

_So I installed Kaspersky suite on the machine (which automatically disables the Windows Defender) and the problem disappeared! _ it's probably the only time where the installation of an antivirus suite SOLVES a problem. :-)

BTW, this is not probably limited to this antivirus product, simply play a bit with the Defender.

    Best, Yuppie

    > Then I installed Kaspersky suite on the machine (which automatically disables the Windows Defender) and the problem disappeared! It's probably the only time where the installation of an antivirus suite SOLVES a problem.

Thank you much for sharing this details here in the community.
I guess that the information could be useful for others who have these problems of his fellow men.

  • Dynadock eject properly - Portege M700

I use a Toshiba Portege M700 with Dynadock DVI PC Tablet. When I try to eject the dynadock, a message appears onscreen dynadock is being ejected.

It takes about 5 minutes that the message disappears. When I unplug the dynadock USB cable, a warning message appears informing me that disconnecting the dynadock without ejecting first may cause loss of data.

I've completely refreshed the machine to its original state of delivery (such as recommended by a Toshiba) and installed the last utility 2.3 C. exactly the same thing happens.

Normally I wouldn't worry if it wasn't for an external USB drive attached to the dynadock who had damaged data, I can only assume occurring because of a bad ejection.

    At dynadock users this experience?
If so, is there a solution?

    Bill

Don't have dynadock or your laptop, but you can try this. Unplug all external devices of dynadock and check if this message appears again during the ejection.

If the problem does not recur, then put your devices and before eject you try to manually disconnect your external storage devices, as you would if they were directly connected to your machine.
