E-mail settings to access the blackBerry Smartphones

on my BB Bold 9650, while trying to change the e-mail addresses or add a new address, he asks username and password and I can't get past this message.  I used every combination of name and password of user that I own, and nothing gets me in the email settings mode.  Any advice?

For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    For the wireless, there is no sort directly 'reset' nothing beyond removing and reconfiguring of the WiFi network configurations. Beyond that, things as device WIPE, reloading the OS, and other very drastic measures would be required. And, important to note, I have no way of knowing if this is really necessary... you did not no matter what description of what happens, so it is not possible to understand your situation and you give more targeted recommendations.

    2. Press the Menu key, and then click Options.

    For some reason any I can not receive or send MMS on my Blackberry 9520 Storm 2. I still do not see the ability to send a picture as a text when I go on my photos. I don't know if it's the phone or my provider. I have my 9520 unlocked on AT & T with a package data unlimited talk and text unlimited. I tried to have photos I was sent as well, but it was also no chance that I NEVER received a text.

    I hope that will move things again for you! But, the fact that you can't do SMS or MMS seems to indicate that they are not part of your plan service provider - that is why, if the above does not help, then contact them to see if you who are on your plan on their part.

    Well, it's basically what I said earlier.

    The part of your contract with your operator voice covers some elements:

    • Voice
    • Voicemail
    • SMS/MMS
    • (I'm not sure - T-Mobile can give you the full list)

    The data item for your contract covers other elements:

    • Internet browser
    • E-mail
    • Applications that require internet access
    • (I know - T-Mobile can give you the full list)

    You will only receive what you contract for services. So, if you don't have a data contract with T-Mobile, you won't get these services.

    Contact T-Mobile and find out what your policy covers. If it covers the services to which you do not have access, it must be changed (since you're already paying for it). If it does not cover data and that you want these services, then you must add to your contract (for the $$$ they will charge).

    I have a new BB Bold 9780 bought a month back. I package unlimited BIS and should be able to set up 10 e-mail accounts, I think.

    The problem I have is with the "Internet mail account" option in the accounts of e-mail in Setup. When I click on this option, nothing happens. The option does not meet my click.

    I know I workaround for configuration through some links e-mail account in internet and I have already set up my account gmail via the link. I would, however, have the option to add a new account via my mobile itself.

    I suspect that the problem is due to an incorrect update / failure "Email Setup Application". The version I have is 6.10.0804.1543

    Is it possible to get this updated program? or to get the option "Internet mail account" working in my BB?

    I'm unable to remove the program through the management of applications, as the DELETE option is not present.

    On 10 June, I received a notification that a new update is available for the configuration of Internet mail application. I can't access my em-mail settings without having to download the update. I downloaded the update and then restarts, there was an error message saying that the software could not be found! Nothing on my phone a white screen with a long list of names of software files. I couldn't go past this screen, make telephone calls, text or even turn off without removing the battery!     My phone is an unlocked Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I have a monthly plan with TMobile, including the data packet.

    Lookiong after this error code (KB24874) it leads me to believe that there is some kind of conflict with the "push to talk" Service Verizon which is not supported by T-Mobile. This problem started when I called T-Mobile to the difficulty of voicemail and they have really no incentive to help me because I have an unlocked phone that they do not initially sell for me...

    It is a basic app and I can't remove it... Can I disable or restrict its permissions to stop this conflict? Is there anything I can do wireless or a parameter to change since I don't have a computer at home - only at work?

    YAY! I fixed it! I got tothinking on these permissions and I went back to them and reset them to "refuse" to "default" (who put them to 'allow') and attempted to access app world and it worked - everything worked!

    MPTT is the name of the libraries in the application 'push to talk' and I guess it still needs to set to 'allow' in same permissions if the app is not supported by TMobile.

    Thanks for the forums. Even if no one responded, have a place as it has helped me to analyze my own of all the posts that I have sought.

    CD of the blackBerry device that comes with your BB does not work on Mac. You will need to download a program called PocketMac BlackBerry.com 4.1.

    With the MAC program, you can synchronize the calendar, contacts, tasks, notes of your e-mail client, load applications.

    But the features that comes with the office (on the CD) as a backup/restore Manager, Media Manager and e-mail settings is not available on PocketMac.
