E:\software\install\common\install.exe specified service does not exist as an installed service.

I try to install EOS solutions disk for my Canon 450 d digital SLR. The drive is healthy. Whenever I load I get the message in the title of this question. Canon cannot help me because this is clearly a problem at my end. I can't find a way to install the software, or what prevents it from current installation. It happened already on my Dell with Vista Home basic... any suggestion welcome.

I suggest that you go to the Canon Website and download the software for your camera there.

• Vista the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted

Hello

I recently had problems with viruses etc on my computer and because of its extremely slow performance I want to re install windows vista to make it to its factory settings. I use a laptop HP 530 which has a HP Backup and Recovery utility, which is able to reinstall windows by using the backup that is held on a separate partition. My computer is not outside of a work group and I'm the only user on the computer with full administrator privileges. I know also that the password of my account and mine is the only account set up on the system.
However, when you attempt to reinstall Vista, when the computer restarts at the beginning I wonder put a username and password. I tried to leave this blank, enter the username and password for my account and nothing else I can think of. Annoyingly. I get the error message "the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted" every time and so I am unable to reinstall windows because I can't get past. I reinstalled windows in the past and never encountered this problem. As far as I know that I did not recently, major changes on the system other than the elimination of viruses etc.
If someone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate!

• The specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted.

Last night I completely disconnected my laptop. This morning when I turned on the machine, she does everything as planned. When I reached the screen that requires a password to connect to Windows, the following error message came after I saw that my password and press ENTER.

The specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted.

I use Windows Vista Ultimate and the laptop connected to a wireless router.

I tried to restart and stop several times. It did not work. I did a Diagnostic Windows memory check and it went well. Also, I restarted Windows in Safe Mode and some other modes and received the same exact error message.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hello

1. don't you make changes before the show?
2. is the laptop connected to a domain or have you tried to connect to a domain?
3. you have to any other user account on the laptop?

If you have any other user account on the laptop, try logging in there and see if the problem still occurs. If you are able to connect, sever the computer from the domain. Try the following steps to separate the field.
1. right click on computer from the start menu, click Properties, click Advanced system settings, the computer name, change, select workgroup and workgroup name type. Click Ok. You will need the necessary permissions to perform this task.

If the computer is not connected to a domain and you have not made any changes recently. Try to restore the system using Vista DVD.
To run the restore of the system using Vista DVD, try the following steps.
1. start in Vista installation DVD.
2. choose your language settings, and click Next.
3. click on repair your computer.
4. choose your operating system and click Next. This should bring up the System Recovery Options.
5. click on system restore.
6. follow the instructions in the wizard to complete the task.
7. once the system restore is complete, start the computer as usual and try to connect.

For more information on the Windows recovery environment options, see this link:

Try the steps and post back with the results, so that we can help you further.

I have recently been struck by application pretty nasty virus/malware and want to do a factory restore. The problem I have is that when I select the option to repair through F8 at startup I get to the logon screen and all it shows is 'another user' in the way witness name of user/pass fields.

I tried every possible user and the user/pass combo I could find and think. Every time I have enter a value in these fields and try to connect, I get the message "the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted", if I try to log in without putting information in the field I get a msg of windows security saying that I have a user/pass to open a session.

I looked in all possible aspects of user accnts, changed the need to open a session, deleted all passes, gave full control to all parts of windows and I still get the same screen.

I need to know if there is a way around this or if the virus has changed the aperture setting of session for the repair operation? Also, if someone could tell me what measures the system and what files it loads when you browse the F8 repair op.

• Windows security - specified account does not exist

Help, please

im running windows 7 on a HP Probook 6540 b, im the only one using the computer so I wanted to skip the log on screen, here's what I did I press the Windows key + r and type "control passwords2" in the command box that appeared and unchecked users must enter a user name and password to use this computer not even start in safe mode to help me back

but still, it shows the log on screen and now I can't login my account told me "Windows Security - the specified account does not exist", but my account is still there.

The correct command is actually 'control userpasswords2', not "control passwords2". And before you uncheck "users must enter a user name and password", you need to click on the name of the account under which you want to log.

• Computer disconnects error the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted

Original title: Vista connection problem

Using Vista, I can not connect. It does give me an option of safe mode. When you start in normal mode, it just runs and runs but does not charge. When I use the repair option which brings me to a login screen, but not my normal connection, he says any other user. Any user or password that I use, I get the following message: "the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Hello

· You will remember to do recent changes on the computer before this problem?

· Your computer is on the network?

· What is the exact message that you get in what concerns the "other user"?

I suggest you follow the steps below:

Method 1:

Restart the computer in safe mode controls the State of the question. Let us know the results. Follow the steps from the link to the following article to find out how to start the computer in safe mode:

• Receives the Message "the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted" when starting

I was working on my machine, normally the day before and I shut it down properly - everything was fine. I'm confused as to what happened between the stopping and starting of the next day!

After you receive this message, he asks me my password for the account of one on my machine. I've never set up a password.

I have tried rebooting several times and it gives me the same message.

I started to run diagnostics, but he appeared to get hooked on a memory test.

Any ideas on how to pass this message/fix, it would be appreciated!

Your system appears to have been related to a field. After that, it requires a reboot to take effect. Once you restarted so he invites to connect to the domain.

There are always local accounts on your computer that allows you to open a session, but they will have a password for all accounts if your system is connected to a domain (as it is a requirement). To log on by using a local account, choose the name of your computer in the ' log on: "drop-down at the login prompt. You will need to know the valid username and password for this computer. If you or someone you know has an account in the domain that is joined to your system, allow you to logon to the domain by providing the valid domain user name and password.

Once logged on you can undo your computer from the domain (right click on the computer in the start menu, properties, advanced system settings, change the computer name, select workgroup and type workgroup name. Click Ok.) You will need the necessary permissions to perform this task.

If you are unable to go further, because you don't have a valid login, you can reinstall Windows. If you format your drive when you re-install you will lose all data on this disc. So if you need all the files from the drive, and you go this route, make a backup first!

• ORA-13605: the specified task or object ADDM: < task > does not exist.

Hello
I use ORACLE 11g R2 & RHEL 5 DB.

My task of bottom line is I want to send an AWR & ADDM report by mail to myself and the other members of my team all the hours for a particular user. I did a procedure for the same thing. When I perform this procedure from the sys user then it is run successfully and we even receive emails with attachments well. When I try to run this procedure from the particular user, it gives me the following error: -.

"ORA-13605: the ADDM:1987121644_4118 of task or a specified object does not exist for the current user."

When I explored my procedure, I found that the error was in the query that is used to generate the report of the ADDM. The same query within an enforcement procedure s successfully with the sys user, but not in the other user. The query is as below: -.
select dbms_advisor.get_task_report(task_name,'TEXT','ALL') as ADDM_report
from dba_advisor_tasks
where task_id =
(select max(t.task_id)
from dba_advisor_tasks t, dba_advisor_log l
where t.task_id = l.task_id
and t.advisor_name = 'ADDM'
and l.status = 'COMPLETED')
When I accessed the sight of dba_advisor_tasks separately then I saw that each task the ower name was "SYS" user. So its gives me error when I have the fire of the other user. When I run it from SCOTT I get the following error: -.
ORA-13605: The specified task or object ADDM:1987121644_4017 does not exist for the current user.
ORA-06512: at "SYS.PRVT_ADVISOR", line 3189

ORA-06512: at "SCOTT.SEND_MAIL_FOR_AWR_ADDM_REPORT", line 72
ORA-06512: at line 2
I tried to use the view data dictionary with 'USER_'... like USER_advisor_tasks, but this returns null if it doesn't produce any report ADDM.

What should I do to run my (other than the user SYS) user SCOTT procedure and must generate the ADDM report.

Thanks in advance.

Look at the signature of the function:

function get_task_report (task_name      in varchar2,
type           in varchar2 := 'TEXT',
level          in varchar2 := 'TYPICAL',
section        in varchar2 := 'ALL',
owner_name     in varchar2 := NULL,
execution_name in varchar2 := NULL,
object_id      in number   := NULL)
return clob;

See owner_name.

So:

select owner,task_name,
dbms_advisor.get_task_report
(t.task_name,'TEXT','TYPICAL','ALL',t.owner) as ADDM_report
from dba_advisor_tasks t
where task_id =
(select max(t.task_id)
from dba_advisor_tasks t, dba_advisor_log l
where t.task_id = l.task_id
and t.advisor_name = 'ADDM'
and l.status = 'COMPLETED');

The service that the error message refers is the HP network devices support service. Try this...

Open the contents of the installation CD, and then open the file "setup." Now you will find either a folder named 'netdevicemanager' or simply 'network '. Open if it is present. Now there should be a file with the same name as the file, but with extension .msi. Right-click on this file and click on uninstall. If you get a message stating that the action applies only to products that have been installed, and then click OK. Restart the computer IF necessary. Now, right-click on the file and click on install. Installation do not normally present a window of 'success' You will just see a bar of progress for a few seconds and disappear. Once this happens, restart the PC and check if the HP Network Device Support or similar service appeared in the list of services. If Yes, then reinstall the software, and it should install correctly.
