E250 SanDisk 2 GB MP3 Player - broke before two weeks, please help!

Well, I enjoyed my e250 player renovated for about the first 10 days, but tonight it's dead.  Here is what happened.

I was transferring some new music for the reader of my laptop.  After that I made and unplugged, I checked the player to make sure that all transferred correctly.  He said that nothing was there, no music at all the...  Well, I had not much there, so no BIG deal, I just start from scratch and put music on it again.

When I reconnected it, or tried, to the laptop, suddenly the Sandisk flash the introduction screen, white titles on black background, but would never go beyond this, would never load.  Later even if it stopped, and now I have a blue wheel on and cannot get the thing to turn on at all.  If I connect it to the laptop, the laptop does not recognize it at all.  I guess even the lighted wheel will turn off soon, when the battery dies.

What can I do?

I this would come back to where I bought it, but it takes all the original packaging, which I threw it out after that everything worked fine for a week...

Any help appreciated, because I really want to fix!

Ouch!

In retrospect, don't forget to keep your original packaging and received with any new device, at least for the first 30 days.  I would contact the seller, because they may be able to make an exchange for you.

The key here is to present your case and to maintain a civil tone, despite the obvious frustration, as friendly conversation will often do the trick.

If the unit will respond to the recovery mode, you can get to the top and running or the next step, e200tool.

Read the thread "blue ring death" for more information.  I would try to Exchange everything first, as a few days.

    Hello

First of all, thanks a lot for taking the time to help me.

After having tried everything you have suggested and have no chance and then by searching the Microsoft sites, Dell and SanDisk, I finally found a very simple solution that worked.

Thought I would pass it for any future reference.

The SanDisk site said to try this:

Activation or forcing MSC mode on the Sansa player

How to connect my Sansa in Mode "MSC" player or forcing MSC mode on my Sansa player?

The steps below will force your readers Sansa Connect mode MSC on your PC.

    1. turn off the device.
2 hold down the central button while connecting the device to the computer.

  • I manually downloaded and installed 11.1 adobe flash player on my device mobile android, but still I can't view a course I'm taking, and which requires adobe flash player 8 or higher? Please help me

    Please help me

    Hi scottd57904809,

Flash Player is not supported on all mobile devices as such, no support is provided for this.  If the content you are trying to view requires Flash 8 then it is more likely is the culprit the content itself, or the device.  Mobile technology has advanced a bit since Flash 8 and 11.1.

  • Windows 8.1 not see sport clip sandisk mp3 player

How can I get Windows 8.1 to see the Sandisk Clip sports MP3 player?

    Hi James,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. Do you have an error message when it is not detected? If YES, what is the exact and complete error message that you receive?

I understand that the Sport Clip Sandisk MP3 player is not detected by your computer. The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Please try the fixit provided below which will help you solve common problems related to hardware and devices.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

    Method 2:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

    1. Open the device by pressing the Windows key + XManager, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
    3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
    5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 3:

Updated with the latest firmware Clip Sport. Check out the following link to download and install the latest firmware.

Updating the Sansa Clip Sport / Zip Clip / Clip + / Clip firmware

Check if your computer is able to connect with the media player.

Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

in the past I have installed the cd into my itunes to mp3, then I transferred to my sandisk mp3 player and now I don't remember how to do this again, please help, what I forget

Select Edit > Preferences > General (if necessary, press ctrl-B to activate the iTunes menu bar), click import settings..., then select MP3 encoder from the first drop-down and choose the setting of the quality required in the second dropdown.  This then becomes the default format for imported CD media.

  • How to download songs from my computer to my mp3 player and a sandisk?

How to download songs from my computer (documents) to a sandisk?

    Hi wendi_wolf,

The easiest way to accomplish this is to drag and drop files the location from the source to the destination location.

Plug your MP3 player \SanDisk, copy the destination location (document music\) files and the Paste into the reader.

Some MP3 player comes with the software; You can use the software to copy songs from a computer to an MP3 player. You can consult the documentation provided with it.

Let us know if this helps

  • SanDisk Sansa Clip + 4 GB MP3 player with FM Radio

    Hello-

My new sansa clip + out of the box and I'm not able to do Radio FM works.  Battery is charged.  All I get on screen is a set of headphones and the 'music '.  I do not expect to play music because I have not yet loaded, but I expect to be able to get FM radio but can't seem to get there.  Any suggestions on how I have to happen?  Thank you.

Please note that I do not see a menu of items to select from the MP3 player.  I do not see a "lock" or "unlock".

My computer recognizes the drive as a new piece of hardware.

The reader does not recognize the software on the CD when I put the CD in the computer.

The player does not allow me to make the software what I t hink is the "root directory" for the player.  I guess tha the directory "root" is the "Sansa Clip + 4 GB" or the "internal memory".  It allows me to copy in one of these.   Appears as:

    + The Sansa Clip + 4 GB

    -Internal memory

    + Albums

    + Audio books

    + Music

    + Playlists

    + Podcasts

    + Records

    + Service

My D drive that reads the CD has these files it contains:

Autorun.inf and sansa - install .exe and one other file that reads:

fscommand with these files it contains: dloadrhap.exe, dloadrhap.txt, proxy.bat, proxy.exe

If I do not have need of these, please let me know.  I don't want to stuff more then I need to run the player.

I'm assuming that I need only the files autorun.inf and the sansa - install .exe.

I do not understand what is Rhapsody or why I need.

    Thank you.

    Bonnie

Now, don't laugh at this suggestion, but: when you get the player, there is a transparent plastic sticker that was placed on the screen of the player, which has a screen simulation showing the items that describe you see on your screen - have - you, you take off the sticker? (It generally is a small tab on the right side of the tile to help with that.) Once you do this, the player I hope will begin to operate as expected. On the CD, you don't need at all! The CD is required to use the separate music Rhapsody and optional subscription service (for which you pay every month, after a free trial, usually). If you do not want the service, go to the CD. Finally, you should check and see if your drive is the latest firmware - look under settings to the player and to compare this version number firmware recent listed in the upgrade thread Firmnware sticky at the top of this forum. If the thread here has a more recent version of firrmware, recommended that you upgrade to it-, it is very easy to do. I hope this helps!

Make sure that Windows is updated appropriately that there have been several USB updates.

1 check that the driver letters for them, for a player, if the drive of the default drive letter is changed
in this case. Mine was h: I added a device that took H: and the player stopped. So I put
Back to H: and the other device to J: and everything worked again. If necessary start - type in the search box->
Disk management is top - right click it - RUN AS ADMIN

Don't forget to remember the MP3 must be set to the PSG to sync with WMP, and meteorological service of Canada to copy and
delete files and update the firmware.

If no joy follow these steps:

You may need a powered hub. (all the USB ports on your computer are not powered, often
    only 2)

    Try these:

    Make a Restore Point

Control Panel - Device Manager - click in the empty area - VIEW - show hidden devices

Here, your devices are the MP3 player.

Now look everywhere EXCEPT the USB controllers for your devices (cannot be found) and if you find
It RIGHT CLICK and UNINSTALL all.

now go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers in the category, but the category itself.

    APPLY/OK

    RESET

This refresh battery USB and hopefully it will allow the unit to install. (You may need a powered hub)

Here is the similar procedure in XP, Windows 7 is the same, except that we need to clear the specific
    devices if it is present.
