  My unit with Realtek audio chip has a manager of its installed Realtek, which is located in the Panel!

  Check the settings there.

  I suspect you have something is misconfigured, you shouldn't have played live sound when you get a microphone that is recording unless I'm badly understand something?

  Hi, I upgraded my brother 2010 Macbook Pro 15, but also parents 2012 iMac 21.5 in El Capitan and now when I do calls facetime with them, their microphones seem to be really bad echo. To check if it was a hardware problem or software, I took the road of the iMac (Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB) and put it in a usb enclosure and booted up on my retina iMac 27 inches, which was carried out from Yosemite and doing very well.   My M50 developed a problem with its sound just now.

  When you play ANY type of audio file (music/MP3, internet/YouTube, Windows Media Player, no matter), sounds are played with a great echo.

  Opening the window of TOSHIBA Virtual Sound Settings and settings, don't change anything. In fact, I can't change anything - if I set the speaker type (say 'built in speaker' on 'closed type headphones', the sounds are the same.)

  I don't remember when the problem arises, but it seems to coincide with the upgrade to SP3 of XP. (I'm under XP Home).

  I believe that no one will be able to say with certainty what the problem is here. I can imagine that Sp3 installed something and now there's this strange sound question.
  But I guess it's because of the sound settings. I don't know what player you use but check it please equalizer. Maybe there's something you can change and have good sound back.

I tried the headphones on my tv, xbox, playstation, phone and they its great.   On Windows 8.1 and 10, all the sound elements had an annoying "echo" that drove me crazy. Echo took place after about 20 ms and all software, including the audio test are in

  ' Configure the control panel-> hardware and sound-> Sound-> speakers / Headphones->-> Test ".

  This was the test that I used to determine if the problem has been resolved.

  SOLUTION

  In the notifications area (on the right side of the taskbar), find the setting "audio Dell." It should look like this:
