(b) click on her. The audio window appears.

(c) click on speakers/headphones , and then click Properties.

(d) in the Properties window is displayed.

(e) click the upgrades tab.

(g) click apply and then click OK.

(h) the Properties window closes.

(i) click apply and then click OK. The acoustic window closes.

Another thing you can try is to Settingseffects Off the SRS WOW urn t in Windows Media Player.

Follow the steps below to do the same. Another user seems to have solved a similar problem by disabling SRS WOW effects.

(a) click Start, click all programs, and then click Windows Media Player.

(b) in playing mode, right-click an open space in the Player

Tips: If the player is currently open and you're in library mode, click display, and then choose

Current playback to switch to game mode now.

(c) point to enhancements, and then click SRS WOW effects.

(d) "groupof the SRS Wow effects"will appear at the top. From there, you can turn off the feature.

Months ago I changed my sound on the computer so that it echoes.

I hated since but every time I'm looking for where I did, I come up with nothing.

What sound card do you have? It's probably an audio accessory that has been activated via Control Panel.

You can also try to start Windows in clean boot , to check if that helps.

I have already also check the properties - levels are already up... but when I try to set up and go to the speech recognition he can't hear me when I try to talk... I don't see the moving bar or the micro displacement level while I am speaking... If the microphone does not work Green right move?... • Microphone pick up background noise

I run Windows Vista on a Dell Studio XPS 435MT. My microphone is standard stock with the computer. Realtek HD Audio.

My problem did not exist until today. I started my computer and installed the last Windows Update: "update for Windows Vista for x 64-based systems (KB971029), update type: Important, this update in order to limit the autorun entries in the AutoPlay dialog to only CD and DVD readers.» After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. »

Then, I played an audio file on my GOM Player. The end of the audio file play is when the problem started, namely, it straightens upward all the sounds in the immediate vicinity, i.e. the taps on the desktop, keyboard use, my breath LOL... quite annoying, especially because he has never done this before. I have not changed my settings prior to the problem. I opened my DD Realtek Audio Manager and everything seems to be in working order as usual.

To try to stop the microphone to pick up the sounds of the room, I dropped the Microphone + 30,0 dB and + 20.0 dB amp. I assume the default since always dB + 30.0, because I have never changed the factory settings. However, lower the Boost does not restore my computer as it was before starting the system today.

Then, I thought that maybe the GOM Player still worked while I was close the player after having to listen to the MP3 audio file... the 'white noise' that runs through my speakers was always present. In order to exclude the GOM Player was still running, but somehow invisible, what sometimes happens with my Mozilla Firefox, I uninstalled the GOM Player without effect. I have no other devices running that uses the microphone and I have restarted only computer several times. Right now my only solution to stop boredom is to unplug the microphone of my back panel where it connects. Suggestions as to what I can do to restore its former silent microphone when not in service? Your stay will be very appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi BWhalin,

In Realtek audio Manager, click the Microphone tab, next to the volume slider, you will find a button to disable the output.

    I hope this helps!

I'm having problems with the sounds of the echo inside my headphone/microphone headset and a loud hum when I unplug my headphones it's really embarrassing and I think it could me my microphone internal, but I'm not sure

The sound is probably your comments because of the gain being turned upward to your audio recording device by default.  Try the same path I mentioned above and see if you can turn it off.

  • Satellite A300-1NO - built in microphone has its Sun

    Hello everyone.

I noticed that my microphone is very low volume. When I voice chat, people barely hear what I speak. I got the Realtek HD Audio Manager, downloaded the audio driver on the Toshiba site. All set to 100%, amp microphone is only 20 dB 30 dB is too noisy. I checked also Assistant of webcam. I don't know what to do.

When I use the external microphone, it's OK. But the microphone is calm and flat, dim.

    Hello!

I m not a Satellite A300 owner but it seems that you only need to update the audio driver. Here is the Toshiba document I founded on the site of Toshiba about this:

    Hello

Check with Dell, their documentation technical support online and drivers, as well as the well-known Dell forums
questions. Maybe you need a new mic and the issue could be on the other side, unless it happens with
several others. Check with Skype or other software you use.

    Try this:

Click on an icon of right speaker near right lower clock - recording devices

Select tab improvements - properties (right same low page) - MIC check Disable all sounds effect apply - OK

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pilots may also need to be updated:

Control Panel - device - SOUNDS - look for HD Audio Manager - Mine said RealTek high definition
Audio (this is an example and you can have an other name/maker).

Make sure you write down the description and model double click top - tab drivers - write version. Now
Click on update drivers who cannot do anything like MS is far behind the certification of drivers. Then RIGHT
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver stack.

If your driver shows 06 you have the default windows and part of the question.

Go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to the place where you
Put them - right click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN -.

Check the Version tab of the driver in the Device Manager as the restoration of the sound card drivers often
and then install the latest version. Restart and check after each test, not
rare to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more. Just the version make sure you
installed shows upward on the tab of the driver.

Then navigate to the site of the manufacturer of the device and search for the drivers more recent and repeat the installation procedure.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
