Satellite L500: headphones and speakers to play simultaneously

I have a Satallite L500. I have problems with my sound.
When I have my jacks for headphones insert and play something, his fate as the helmet that the speakers of the laptop.
I want to disable the laptop speakers, but still receive sound in the headphones.
There is a horrible "echo" when both headphones and speakers are on at the same time. I'm new to Vista and for the life of I can't understand what is happening.

When I got the laptop everything worked fine. Then I bought some speakers for all the times that I wanted to listen to external speakers.
I unplug headphone jacks and connect the speaker plug.
Since that, whenever I plug the headphones also plays the laptop speakers.

Also, when I got the laptop whenever I would plug into the headphone Sockets, a pop-up message would be on the screen indicating that the microphone and audio jacks have been detected. I no longer get this message.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanx

Hello

I think that your L500 supports the Realtek audio driver.
My unit with Realtek audio chip has a manager of its installed Realtek, which is located in the Panel!

Check the settings there.
In Realtek Manager of its label of speaker on the right, you will find analog and digital outlets.
Right click and check if you can disable the sound through the speakers while the headphones are connected.

  • HP Pavilion Windows 8 g7; headphones and speakers always play together.

I've had this laptop for quite awhile and a while ago my laptop headphone stopped cut speakers occasionally and they always play together now. I tried to find a solution to this on the forums, but it is not a problem with the two be affected as peripheral to read. I think the headphone jack can be broken, and it is not actually save my headphones plugged because it says on the playback devices that they are not plugged. I think that if there was a way to play sounds through the mic socket that can fix this, but I can't figure out how to do this. Any help would be great, thanks.

    Hello newtohp4567,

I understand that the speaker and the headphones play at the same time.

Go to Device Manager and uninstall the driver IDT audio in audio, video, and game controllers.

    Restart the computer.

As the computer starts up, press the F10 key.

When the BIOS setup utility charges, press F9 to set the default values and F10 to save and exit.

When you start the computer to windows, it will load the audio driver.

Here is a link that will show you how to get to Device Manager.

If you still experience the problem, go to HP.com and update the BIOS.

Here is a link to the update; you will need your product number.

You can find this information by holding the FN key and pressing the ESC key.

If you are not able to correct the error by making these changes to the software, I would call HP and make them fix the appliance while it is still under warranty.

Here is a link to a number to call HP.

I would like to know how everything goes.

Maybe confused iTunes the OS and, therefore, the disc do not run properly.
    Try this:
Remove the drive from CD/DVD to the list of devices in Device Manager.
Then access the registry (regedit.exe) and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    .reboot.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the driver for Chipset on the following link.

    Windows 10

    Windows 10 anniversary update

When the reinstallation of Chipset is finished, stop the laptop.

Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

  • How to use headphones and speakers at the same time

I want to use headphones at the same time that I use the speakers.

I am hard of hearing and need the LOUD volume. When others are watching a film, projected on HDTV, they won't let me turn the volume up to where I need it, which is why, headphones and speakers at the same time.

I use Windows 7, I want to stick with Windows 7, so I want a Windows 7 solution.

If there is no solution for Windows 7 and there is a solution using Windows 10, then and then only, I will be upgrading to Windows 10.

Using headphones and speakers was possible under Windows XP. I think that a kid at Microsoft, with a regular audience, thought this feature was redundant and removed. Large.

  • Is it possible to route audio via the headphones and speakers at the same time

I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to play sounds through a pair of speakers connected to the output jack for headphones and also have the sound out of speakers, so. I know it is not possible using the audio controls integrated in the System Prefs, but maybe he thought that there is a 3 rd-party app that could do it.

AFAIK, it is possible to read audio data through the internal speakers or the headphone output or another output as speakers USB or Bluetooth device, or a DAC, but not the internal speakers and headphones something plugged into the outlet.

I have fully operational Windows XP with all works very well. Are you sure you checked all necessary settings?

I m not Satellite A200 owner but I have a similar Satellite A series and I installed the two OS (Vista & XP) on my HARD drive.

Of my knowledge you should check the settings of the sound options & audio different microphone.
In Control Panel, you will find the Sound & audio devices. Choose it!
    Then select the Audio tab.

That could be sound recording of area that provides information on possible devices for sound recording.
First of all, you should check if the Volume settings are defined at a higher level.
Then check if a right device has been selected (in my case it s a Realtek HD audio input).

Tab another voice (almost), you can test the record too much voice. This could be very useful to check if the microphone is working correctly
    Please do!
