Edge project slows down

Hey there,

I was recreating a Flash project on the edge (so that it can run on mobile devices). It's a 'laboratory pre' for students here at our University, where the student can go through a chemistry lab before you actually make the laboratory to the real world.

I built it about beginging to end, but when I run it on different browsers on mac, pc or iPad 2 button clicks becomes slower and slower in response (as if it runs out of memory) in the middle of the prelab.

I stripped back all the graphics off the coast of the timeline with the exception of the important buttons and it still does the same thing. I have to delete all other images and symbols out of the assets window? Or is it because I use transparent PNG and must use the SVG (but who doesn't answer why it is always slow when I strip the project).

Only errors I get in the Console of Chrome is the following:

event.returnValue is discouraged. Please use the standard Event.preventDefault ().

JavaScript error in the event handler. Type of event = timeline edge.2.0.1.min.js:162

JavaScript error in the event handler. Type of event = timeline edge.2.0.1.min.js:162

JavaScript error in the event handler. Type of event = timeline edge.2.0.1.min.js:162

That would be why it slows down?

Thanks in advance,

OK well it turns out that for my "nextBtn' one event 'click' is attributed to it but the old click event remains. He then built up point slow down the animation.

The code that I should have used is:

{sym.$('btnNext').bind ('click.myEvent', Function ()}

$(this) .unbind ('click.myEvent');

SYM. Stop ("2");

});

Thank you all for taking the time to try to understand what was going on.

  • VISA reading significantly slows down to 20 Hz (Labview, Arduino + Xbee project)

    Hello

I am quite new to Labview and Arduino, so I apologize if I use the incorrect terms. I'm having some trouble with the next project, I hope that you guys can give me some advice!
I have 16 sensors connected to the 16 analog pins on an Arduino mega Board. This Council has a shield mounted upon him, with a Xbee module wireless. I have another Xbee module that communicates with him and it is mounted on a USB dongle that plugs into a PC with Labview 2015.

The A/D analog Arduino pin output is read and sent every 50ms to the Xbee module connected to the PC. So every 50ms (that is, a frequency of 20 Hz), a new line of analog readings by commas is sent, using AnalogRead and Serialprint in the Arduino. These data are fed to a Labview code with architecture of producer-consumer. Copy the following code configures a serial port of VISA, reads the data, it converts a voltage value and writes the data to a text file (see block_diagram.jpg).

The problem is that at a frequency of 20 Hz (with the configuration of the attached jpg) when you reach 400 treatment iterations the code slows down considerably and values are not parsed correctly. It behaves as if the queue is full (but the queue of elements indicators show 0) or memory or the buffers were full. It seems quite surprising to me given that the sampling rate is so slow. I tried a few configurations setting the buffer size, empty the buffer by using the queue time, but nothing seemed to work. Is it because the processor loop takes too much time to iterate? I tried to disable data analysis, conversion of voltage and the generation of text file, just keep reading and still have the same behavior.

This may be the cause? Suggestions to change the block diagram are welcome! Is there a better way to do this than with VISA or queues...?

    I use Labview 2015 on Windows 7.

    Thank you!!

You think along the good things. But the big problem I see here is that you have a table growing up to stop the program.  You must move the file writing to be inside the loop of your consumption.  This will eliminate the need to constantly develop your table in the shift register, with tons of memory and causing copies of memory (which is very expensive).

The other concern I have is the speed at which data is available.  If you have a baud rate 9600, then in the 50ms debit you can pass 48 bytes.  This leaves 3 bytes per sample, including the comma.  If you have a debit 115 200 baud baudrate, it turns into 576 bytes, you can send the 50ms.  So the lesson here is to make sure that you use a transmission speed which is fast enough to handle the data that you want to send.

  • Slow down the entire after effects of the project

    Hello..

Today, I created a project After Effects (without video or audio - so there is no problem with regard to those) and now I want to slow down the whole project without repositioning of all (and there are many) keyframes... entry points and. Is it possible and if yes, how can this be achieved?

    Thank you!

    David

Thanks for posting your files to a download location. In the future, you might want to avoid using PMs for several reasons. First of all, if everyone else is having a similar problem, they won't get all the details on how to solve the problem. Second, if I go on vacation (we can dream), so you would never hear me until I return. In the meantime, there are a number of highly qualified people here who could solve the problem in the meantime.

That said, your time precomposition/remap was not working because there was 'shy' layers in the model called 'Final' (I'm guessing it's the one you want to set the timing on). If you disable "shy" to the model before the precomposition elements, you'll catch all concerned layers.

Here's what the switches looked like originally:

Here is the "shy" switch, you need to disable:

And here are the help files regarding the layers "timid."

  • Problem - edges of digital triggering slows down during the fast rotations

Hi all. I have problem to understand. I want to measure the pressure with two strain gages on 90 degrees (NI 9237 half bridge II) and I engine with metal plate on it with 52 teeth (gear) to measure on each tooth of the strain. For the rotation, I use NI 9401 digital input.

I need for example 1000 samples from the first digital edge to the second. (on the metal plate). I try to start trigger. In slow speed (turn around with the hand) of the metal plate, everything is OK. But if I turn around the metal plate digital fast triggers edges slows down. During a cycle on the metal plate on the cost of slow speed me 52 digital edges 1000 sampels by edge (metal plate is with 52 teeth), but rely on fast speed on me 25 edges. This problem is sync of the digital inputs and the analog inputs. I made the example with DAqmx Vi express. I've implemented on digital imput and then count me in each tooth regardless of speed and everything is OK, but when I buid trigger of strain on the edges of quick release rotation speed slows down.

Can someone help me with this?

    Thanks before.

So you're collecting samples from 1000 to 10000 samples per second. Which takes 100 Ms. If your triggering edges occur more quickly than the interval of 100 ms, some of them will be missed.  If you run faster than a cycle all 5.2 seconds your gear plate with 52 teeth, some triggers will be produced before the end of the previous data collection.

What is the fastest speed that you will not sping palte metal?

  • FPGA code slows down suddenly

I have the following code in the FPGA (didn't integrate the png because it is too big. You will have to click on the attachment below) and I noticed a bottleneck in the FIFO, when both running on the FPGA and jusing simulating values in the Dev Enviroment. Here are the values of control

    Sampling frequency - 1 ms

Btwn samples - 1000 ms delay

NB of static samples - 10

I know that my conversion fxp is lousy right now and I will correct this, but I know that's not the issue. The question is in my FIFO because when I disable it everything works correctly. See the following questions which I will describe here is what I notice when I do not disable the part of the diagram:

    Running in the Dev Environment:

Code works very well... for a while. If I look at the indicator loop counter it goes fast (about 1ms as programmed to do) of 0 to 9, then breaks for 1000 ms wait and then goes again. After about 20 all iterations of the loop, the for loop suddenly slows down way. I can see this because if I look at the counter of the loop, it starts to increment once every 5 seconds. I thought, well maybe the FIFO DMA reaches its limit, but is it not fixed? Old data should not only be overwritten? Is not delay because the delay indicator will never true so I have no idea whats going on.

    Running on FPGA:

Never the time to fast as iteration above. From the outset, will slow down. I noticed this, because my side of RT, I have a dedicated loop to only read items in FIFO (see below). I put it to the top to read 340 items both (34 samples of table x 10 element). It takes forever for the FIFO reach 340 items (it should take only 10 ms). Because I have 1000 ms pause between entering the data there is no reason that my buffer should be overflowing.

Suggestions? Sorry, I cannot post my RT code, but may be able to view the FPGA code if it is really necessary.

Found the problem. The RTD I use by default in mode 'accuracy '. These RTD also do not have simultaneous sampling (NI 9217). In fine mode, the conversion time is set to 200 Ms. which explains why when I bench marked it took 800 ms to run one to the loop iteration (200 ms/Channel * 4 channels).

To fix this, go to your project, click with the right button on any given RTD, choose Properties, change the conversion time of 2.5 ms.

  • Render slows down mid-way through the process

I send a project to SOUL CC 2015 or in the render queue, regardless of the format used, start quickly during the first part of the record and then, SLOW slow slow.  Why this happens in general.

Here are the facts, you need:

    CC Adobe everything.

    News of the computer:

OS: Windows 7 Pro fully updated

    Processor: Intel i7 CPU X 990

    RAM: 24.0 GB

This only happens when using effects which are slow in a first time as Grain reduced by using 6 passes with unsharp mask.

Looking at the CPU load, it is usually very small and does not load upward when rendering slows down.  If anything, the load also reduces CPU when rendering slows.

(24GO RAM) memory usage is low, at about 29 to 31%.

The file EXPORT to make little or no difference.

If I exported only with light effects such as color, levels, hue, exporting is very very fast, CPU load is maxed out and memory is a bit more and export is done very quickly.

So the problem is since the heavy effects processor is a little obvious, but wouldn't get just max out the processor? and this is not the case.  Why

And Yes, most importantly, can do something to speed up this on my current system.

I am a wedding videographer and try not to use the lights because according to me, it destroyed the State of mind that the family paid a lot of money for.  This sometimes causes the camera to compensate for, and from there gain depending on how little light levels, things get a little grainy.  (Yes if it is very dark, I use light and limit my consumption as much as possible.  So, using removal of Grain (AE) and other noise reduction video, it takes sometimes and works very well if used properly.  BUT sometimes it takes so long to render that I use as a last resort.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

This is perfectly normal. Many of the effects of EI are single-threaded, and contrary to your assumption simply will not make your CPU glow to make up for it. Especially with the time as effects remove Grain, raising several images and their treatment will be also implemented additional fresh General IO and whatnot that outweighs the real picture processing time. It could take hours to explain how AE handles this and what combinations cause behaviors, but suffice it to say that for now, you will have to live with it...

  • Is to slow down the Server OEM?

    Dear friends,

Thought to implement OEM for the convinience to keep an eye on the mistakes and the tablespace space problems.

Once I tried the last time, but all the developers said the database became incredibly slow.

After that I stopped dbconsole, they all felt better.

OEM slows down the database if its installed on the same server?

    Thank you very much.

    user645399 wrote:
It is advisable to use OEM or better to just go with scripts.

The new project should soon be launched for users and if its slow, then I am responsible.

OEM is entirely GUI based and very easy to use. Which you can view grphical outputs
If you prefer Scripts, there are a lot of manual work necessary.

It depends on how you choose. If you have the option of OEM which is easy to use. So why if you prefer the manual way? As said previously it is not much of an impact as you think.

If it's only concern then like I said create a new tablespace devote for OEM outside sysaux.

  • Response of mouse slows down when editing

It is a continuation of a discussion dated dated August 21, 2011 16:26 with suggestions of Bill Gehrke and John Smith, who has recommended how I could speed up edition and made my PC i7 and suggestions to solve the slow response of the mouse .

    My problem:

After that several clicks of the mouse, the first quick reactions from first Pro CS5 are starting to slow down to a crawl.

    My PC:

    -ASUS P6TWS Professional Motherboard

    -Intel Core i7 920 CPU

    -12 GB OF DDR3 1333 RAM

    -4 HD 1 TB

-Video card ATI RADEON 4670 1

-Coolermaster 690 case separate real power 700W

    -LG BlueRay writer

-Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 v2.0

    -Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000

    Recommendations:

    1. Disable indexing on your hard drives.
    2. Try wired keyboard and mouse (old style, no USB) with the generic driver for Win7.
    3. Try disabling the two security programs.
    4. Do not use boot drive for what anyone (editing wise) but the OS and applications. Sale video project and media on another quick of HDD or a table.
    5. Try another (more recent AND older) driver for your ATI card.

Status of the above numbered items:

    1. Indexing is disabled on all drives used for video editing.
    2. The Asus P6T WS Pro motherboard has a combo keyboard and mouse PS2 Connector.  I was trying to use an old PS2 Keyboard and mouse PS2 to replace the Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse.  This would require a PS2 PS2 male/2 female adapter.  Information on the Internet shows that there is 2 pins to spare on a standard PS2.  These 2 spare pins are used on connectors PS2 combo for the mouse clock and data which I assume is the case for the ASUS motherboard.  This requires a special adapter where regular clock pins and the date the female to PS2 Keyboard and pins of alternatives to the female to PS2 Mouse.  I couldn't so far find such an adapter.
    3. I need to use the Internet for updates of program so I would disconnect the LAN to disable security for the trial.  If security is the issue, I guess it would be to disconnect the LAN and disabling security whenever I'm editing video.
    4. I have 1 TB disks 3 other than the boot drive, one for each video source, audio source and output rendered.  I think that the reader audio source would be best to share with the project file because the audio files are not as demanding on the CPU if treated earlier in Soundbooth.
    5. I'll try different drivers.

As recommended, the first Pro Benchmark I ran against my i7 PC to conclude that performance was close to the other similarly configured PCs. This confirms that I am dealing with problems of the outdoor unit.  In this case, the interaction of the mouse when editing is the likely suspect.  I'll try a second run after the changes.  I don't know how the files originate in the testbed among my 4 hard drives so that the results may not indicate a better distribution of readers.

Does anyone can tell where I can get a combo reliable adapter PS2?  Do not share the drive audio source with the project file a better choice than the readers of rendered files or video source?

    John

    > solved by replacing the laser mouse with a PS2 Mouse Wireless

Just guessing here... but my 'better thinking' is that your problem is not the material of the mouse, but the the mouse software that created the wireless link was not totally compatible with 'something' in Adobe software

Another option could be a USB mouse

  • Slow down the load + cannot record

    Hi all

I'm working on my first project Premiere Pro after the passage of the PCF (so I'm new to the software). The project was going great until this morning, when everything started to slow down. First automatic backup has started taking more time. I have tried a reboot and then noticed that the project took a lot, a lot more time to load. Finally once loaded I can't save at all. The program just hangs. At first I thought that it is perhaps a problem with a plugin, I installed. But I removed and still have the issue of some. Charging takes about 3-4 minutes (used to take 20 seconds or more). Other projects are not affected, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.

    Anyone know what is happening?

    Thank you!

  • How to slow down / speed of Animation

    Hello

I use Flash CS4 and am working on a project where I'm hand pulling a running on-screen animation.  I lured him in consecutive keyframes.  Its too fast.  How to slow down or to vary the speed?  I tried to add empty frames between each drawing but its very time consuming.

This is all pretty new to me, and I appreciate all help.

    Thanks, Kate

Either lower frame rate (fps) so that playback is slower, or another option to frame-by-frame is to simply space executives a little, so there is a new framework for all other images etc.

There are just a lot of experimenting to see which works best.

Also using the motion tween on hand drawn queries would you give much more control of speed and change with a lot of workload shot.
