  I know it is a Dreamweaver site, but maybe you can answer my question. I have to say I don't do a whole lot of HTML coding which is why I bought Contribute because it allows me an easy way to create HTML documents without knowing the code. I have a lot of HTML files generated by a friend in Dreamweaver that I can add or edit in Contribute. However, there are a few commands that are grayed out if you change these files, and they are the functions of text alignment.

  I gave up and you just create a new model. In Contribute, it's easy - I just had to copy an HTML code of the old version, so that readers can contact me. Worked well and now I have all the formatting functions.

• Bug in timestamp LR CC 2015 batch edition

  I use LR CC 2015 on an iMac 27 "retina and when I try to batch edit timestamps, it does not update the timestamp of the first selected picture. Here the steps to reproduce:

  (1) select 2 or more photos

  (2) under the terms of metadata, click on the button to the right of the Capture time

  (3) in the Edit Capture time dialog box, select the radio "defined Shift by a number of hours (time zone setting).

  4) click the drop right out of the box of the new time and select-19 hours as lag.

  (5) click on edit

  Expected behavior:

  All photos selected in step 1 should have their timestamps-19 hours

  Actual behavior:

  Only the first picture in the selected in set 1 step has its adjusted timestamp.

  Turn AutoSync.

  Click the button next to the sync button

  

• When I open the site in Contribute CS5, it moves items to the bottom of the page that are not in the regions of editiable

  Site was created in DW CS5 and so it is edited in DW it's fine. The minute you click on edit in Contribute CS5 text, links, and div tags is pushed to the bottom of the page. This is before I touch event whatever it is in an editable and the elements that are affected are not in an editable? If I go ahead and make changes in the region of editiable and save, he recorded with all of these elements encountered towards the bottom of the page. I convinced a client that Contribute was the way forward, they bought 3 licenses and now can't change their site.

  Can you provide the screenshot of how the web page is displayed when the web page editing in Contribute?

  To remove the video from youtube, you can try to edit the web page in an external application, by clicking Ctrl + Shift + E. The web page opens in an external editor such as Notepad or Dreamweaver (if installed), and then delete the embedded HTML code.

• Shared items editable in a model?

  I want to use DW models to maintain the appearance of the site, but I tend to use templates merely for the control of the basic framework of the web pages and then keep all common items inside include files (I find it easier to update a file, then try to change through all the pages based on a template cascading). Is there a way to create a resource shared like this, for example sub navigation but it is also editable through Contribute?
  
  For example, I have a web site that has 5 General content areas. Each of these areas is divided into several sub-themes, each with its own page. I want to include a list of links to the subsections on each page. I also want this list to be editable so that my content author can add new pages and include them in the list of the subtopics for all content area is appropriate. Because the list will appear on all of the related sub-topics, I would like that it exists as a shared resource so that a time change it will update all related pages.

  Murray: Your hypothesis was right - you can't use the model commands in an XML file (something the team should consider for the next version!)

  No, you can not use InContext Editing to edit regions contribute, just as you can't use Contribute to edit the InContext Editing editable regions. Please let me know if you have more questions about this.

• Cannot change the boxes with Contribute

  Created a few models with Dreamweaver 8, left/right columns are clearly marked editable, and yet my contribute users are not able to change the columns and the display of screen is distorted (to have to scroll down to see the center column). Any suggestions on what I should look for to correct?

  This is what we call an editable and they called it 'h1 '.  It defines the regions you can edit in Contribute and are integrated in the models that you use. I can't that assume they are a style is applied so that when you type in, it uses your default 1 title.
