Editing in Dreamweaver inserted from other .app flash drive

I know I just posted a question, but I have a quite separate issue. (the joys of web design!)

As I said in my other post, I have a crossword site and use Crossword Forge to make puzzles.

Inside the .app when you export the crossword for the web, it makes a folder containing different files.
1 cwf_live.swf
2 index.html
3 puzzle.xml
4 .jpg (for the background image)
5 .pdf (for the answer key)

To change what anyone on the crossword page, you need to open the file index.html.
I tried to edit these pages, so that they coincide with the home page and so on. It is fine if I just put in the text.
When I insert my bar of navigation, logo, and all the other stuff the flash player for crosswords disappears when I publish it. It's all still there when I open it in Dreamweaver.

I found it in their FAQ, but I don't know anything about settings etc. :
When you export for the web, I need to separate the html file from the rest of the puzzle content (file (.swf) flash, backdrop) and xml file. How can I do this?
Change the html code in the generated index.html file. Add a parameter called 'base' to the object and embed tags. This parameter must point to the folder that contains the .swf file. Your other files should be grouped with the .swf. For more information about the setting of 'base', read this

Well well, thanks much for the help. I actually figured this out on my own. I will briefly describe just in case where in the unlikely event that someone else has this problem.
I found that my navigation bar has been making crossword puzzles disappear. Code of the navigation bar was lifted in the middle of the code flash player inserted by Crossword Forge. I had to copy and paste chunks of code here and there and retype parts. But it works now.

    I think that it s not able to boot from a USB key on this laptop.
    The best way is to use a CD. There, you can start on this notebook and all other laptops.
    In the Internet there are many versions of CD of Ubuntu and other Linux systems.

    And as said Feliks, it s not able to boot from an SD card because it is not in the BIOS.

    How can I update my bios to enable booting from a USB Flash drive. My bios is American Megatrends 6.07, 04/05/2011 and the only options are CD, hard disk, floppy. Is there a way to change this? To test the Windows 10 repair disk I created, my system froze to the blue screen "choose" keyboard layout. I couldn't use the usb mouse or usb keyboard. As a result, I had to restore my system to windows 7 using my Norton Ghost recovery disk and backups that I had done before downloading windows 10.

    After the opening of the bios and clicking on the hard drive by default, I found that I had a choice, including the USB Flash drive that I have pugged just forward to restart. This answered my question. Thanks to everyone for their contribution. It was not necessary to Flash the bios after all.

    I do some development work on the anaconda, the Installer used by Red Hat Enterprise Linux and reconstructions based off of him.  I'm testing support of USB flash drive facilities and would rather test my changes using image files from a USB drive physical - a bit like editing an .iso image to a CD instead of using a physical CD of closure.

    I found a reference to the Framework of Linux-USB Gadget API, which looked exactly like what I was looking for.  After the reconstruction of the almond, I was able to run:

    • modprobe dummy_hcd
    • modprobe g_file_storage file = CentOS - 6.2 - i386 - netinstall.iso

    After that, the office immediately get the image as if I had actually plugged a USB stick with the same content.

    I am also able to connect this virtual USB device to a virtual machine, but when I start the virtual machine, it has no option to boot from the virtual USB device.

    Any ideas?

    VMware Workstation does not directly support boot from USB but you can use a third-party utility called Plop Boot Manager to boot a bootable USB disk and you may be.

  • transfer photos from computer to flash drive

    I would like to transfer pictures from computer to flash player, so I can view it on Smart TV. Only option on computer is to burn to CD or DVD.

    I don't see info on the version of Windows or the PC model, so here are generic instructions.

    (1) assuming that the flash drive is seen at the opening "my computer" or "computer" double-click the flash player - it should open up another window showing what, if anything is on the flash drive.  This window open, leaving now to find the photos you want to copy or move and highlight by clicking on each of them or a group (select more than one by holding the CTRL key while clicking the photos) now right-click on one of the selected photos and then choose 'copy' or and then right-click on the window open the flash drive make a right click "Paste".

    OR

    left click and hold on one of the photos and drag the Group highlighted in the window open the flash drive, release the left click.

    Step 1: Try to use the USB stick on another computer or a different USB port.

    the file .iso image from Microsoft for the USB/DVD tool allows you to create a bootable DVD or USB (requires a blank DVD or USB flash to at least 4 GB key).

    I've been looking around for an adapter that I can download my flash drive on my iPad media, but can't seem to find one that will do more than just photos and videos. Any suggestions?

    This is because it does not exist.

    the closest you can come is something like the WiDrive of Kingston (or similar devices) that create a hotspot located to connect your iPad to transfer files. Then use a soft to do the transfer.

    The ipad is not a file manager program, so when you plug a USB medium the ipad knows not what to do with it. It was only scheduled to import photos or videos that follow a very specific naming structure.

    I have windows XP Professional on my computer and these days I have a problem with my USB flash drive (CCPC USB flash disk USB Device. I have a very important document that is stored in it and when I plug it into my computer it shows no content of the flash player automatically (as it was).

  • L512 cannot boot from a USB flash drive

    I just got a brand-new L512 (model 4444-CTO) and I am trying to boot from a USB key, but it does not work. I changed the boot order in the BIOS, I tried to use F12 to bring up the boot order (which does not have the listed USB option), I tried different USB ports and nothing works.

    One thing I noticed, is that on startup command BIOS screen, the entry is listed as: "-USB HDD. No other entries (including USB CDROM and USB FDD) signed a minus in front of them. USB is enabled. I've updated to the latest version of the BIOS.

    Anyone have an idea what might happen?

    And now, all of a sudden it works. The only difference I see is that I did a hard reboot instead of soft, but I thought I had already done that also. Well.
