Editing large spaced areas

Hey Thrill Seekers.

I hope someone can direct me to a tutorial that I have yet to find.  I often find that I need to pull off something a large area gradually to an image, such as a map of bill in a twilight sky.  I always tried to clone the image, but the end upward with a mottled surface of the sky.  If I get it smooth, he seems to have a different texture because I used a lower opacity in the brush.  I tried to replace the sky with a gradation but that mixes the horizon is always a little dubious.

Someone at - it a favoured technique or tutorial they could point me to?

Thanks in advance

Hi you have tried to use the content aware fill tool?

Here's a tutorial for point you to that direction!

http://digital-photography-school.com/smarter-content-aware-fill-in-Photoshop

Before you start, I duplicated the layer proginal. On the top layer, I chose the whole statue with the Quick Selection tool. Then go to Edition > fill > Content aware

The result has worked in the sky but the edges of the sign is a bit messy as you can see here. So I have just returned with the fast and used Selection tool the tool with opacity to 85% clone stamp to clean

I have two large black areas on each side of my screen. How to resize my screen to fit the screen of my computer? (and yes I tried the button expand) :))

    Hello val2000, welcome.

These games is managed inside of Internet Explorer? If this isn't the case, then I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your computer for the latest pgrahics drivers. If installation of those who does not resolve the problem, then try to change your resolution to one of the following values (depending on the size of your screen):

    1024 x 768
1280 x 800 (wide, common form for laptops)
    1280 x 1024
    1680 x 1050 (widescreen)

    To change your resolution:

    1. click on START
    2. click on "Control Panel."
    3. double click on "display".
    4. click on the tab "settings".
    5. change the resolution on your cursor tab and then click on 'Apply' at the bottom right

  • View my site on my iPhone, I see a large white area.

I downloaded a few sites on Adobe Muse and I earlier problems with the mobile layout. This problem is new and has never happen to me before, but when I discovered my site on my iPhone the site isn't 100%. On the right side of my phone, I have a large white area and to see my entire site, I have to zoom in on my phone. Help, please

    Hi Jacob,

One of the most common cause for this is due to a component goes outside of the page are in design mode of layout of phone which forces the browser to zoom out.

Go hit the page design mode and select everything by pressing CTRL + A or command-A. This will show you if something happens outside of the area of the page. If you find something at the pace outside and then delete or drag inside the area of the page.

    Kind regards

  • 7.1 merge cannot suspend Windows 8.1 - "... large files are needed."

    Hello

I have Fusion 7.1, 8.1 Windows running on a Mac Pro. 8.1 win is installed on a 128 GB SSD. According to the properties of earn 8.1 the drive is formatted in NTFS. When I try to suspend my session of merging, I get a message saying:

"The State of this virtual machine may be registered only on a filesystem that supports senior 6,008 GB files.

The file system does not support files greater than 2 GB.

    Cannot save the file ' / Volumes/WIN8/Windows 8.1 8.1 x64.vmwarevm/./Windows x 64 - 4fcac0ca.vmss'.

Impossible to suspend the virtual machine: large files are needed. »

Steve247 wrote: will be solved my problem if I format the drive in NTFS format on the side Mac and then re - install 8.1?

In your OP when you said "Win 8.1 is installed on a 128 GB SSD" as well as the error you get I guess this an external storage device that was formatted FAT32.

Formatting NTFS will be of no use unless you have a third-party R/W of NTFS driver installed as Tuxera NTFS for Mac or similar.  Even in this case, it would not be my choice of file system Format, I would choose OS x native HFS + to the external storage device.  Of course if you use this cross-platform for Windows and Linux device then HFS + is going to be a problem, too, forcing the third-party driver HFS + R/W.  So the common denominator if you use cross-platform will be exFAT.  However, that said I don't like to use exFAT because it maintains only a copy of the FAT and if it is messed up by not properly no mounting the camera before you disconnect it, well there's a good chance for the corruption that exists beyond simple recovery.

Note: If you can save the entire Virtual Machine elsewhere all by reformatting the device external storage, then you don't need to reinstall!

  • If I do are on back to the PS from LR, use original edit, my LR are not displayed.  Has anyone seen this?

If I do are on back to the PS from LR, use original edit, my LR are not displayed.  Has anyone seen this?

1 edit an Original RAW in Photoshop file opens a new pixel (.tiff or .psd) image without any changes in LR.

2 edit "with Lightroom publishes" opens a new image (.tiff, .psd) pixel with the LR changes preserved in the new file.

    3. change a psd or .tiff file Original in Photoshop (ie. re - open a Photoshop file) opens in Photoshop, exactly as you saved it.

One problem! If you edit a .psd or .tiff file in Lightroom and then re - open in Photoshop and Lightroom flattens the image and Photoshop previous edition (layers, etc.) is everything HAPPENED!

Suggest that all first edition lightroom then go into Photoshop for finishing. Consider un.pdf/.tiff your editing "final".

Create virtual copies if you want to do more editing in Lightroom with Photoshop retouching.

Big hint - Open images by 'Open as Smart Object in Photoshop' then you have the opportunity to re - open the layer Photoshop (background) (Smart Object) in ACR for more crude adjustment. It uses the ACR version related to Photoshop (not Lightroom)

  • What are the best setting of calibration screen for video editing, if you are shooting indoors, without natural light?

What are the best setting of calibration screen for video editing, if you are shooting indoors, without natural light?

Not really related to Prem Pro, however:

Neutral gray scale to set the brightness (white saturation) and contrast (black crush).

    Conveniently located:

    Gamma: 2.2

White point: 6500K (5800K with ambient lighting)

    Brightness: 100-120 (cd/m)

Use a calibration device like SpyderElite (above applies). Grade with a neutral gray background low light level - easier on the eyes.

  • In FIrefox to develop edition, new tabs are always empty.

When I click on a link, the new tabs works as it is supposed to. When I click on the plus sign at the top of Firefox, all tabs open empty. I do not get thumbnails of the most frequent sites and I don't get Google. One of these options would be great.

Type of topic: config< enter > in the address bar.
If a warning screen is displayed, press the button to be careful .
That's where Firefox considers the information he should run.
At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.newtab.url
This indicates what to show when a new tab opens Firefox.
If you want, right click and select Edit. You can change the setting

    topic: Home (Default Firefox homepage),
on: newtab (displays the more visited sites),
    Subject: vacuum (a blank page),

or you can enter any web page or Subject: page you want.

The same instructions are used to the new setting of the window, classified
    browser.startup.homepage.

  • Don't want the large white area with 'options, etc.' at the bottom of page, I already at the top of the page.

The menu bar has file, edit, view, tools, bookmark, etc., I don't need this measure up to an inch or MORE thoroughly below my tiles, they are already too closely together. Thank you.

Looks like you got the extension new tab Tools installed. Click on the "device" in the upper right to open the options of this extension and disable Launcher in the right-hand column under Options.

When I tried to print a PDF file for my income tax return, the result on multiple pages was large areas of black ink, covering what must have been printed!

I tried to print to a different printer, and I managed.

I do not know the PDF reader, you use, if they both have the same updates applied or what perhaps is there other differences between your two systems.  Please try the Acrobat CD player.  It's free and it works...

  • ListView causes large empty area below.

I have a ListView with two entrances and a label underneath.

ListView causes a large empty space appears below its two entriesm and I can not understand how to get rid of.

I tried to put a negative padding or margin on the bottom, but nothing helped.

If I replace the ListView with two LabelFields, it works fine.

I can't quite think the use cases for a ListView with only two points inside, both currently visible. I might have a better solution if I understood why you want that, but in any case, you can at least work around the problem for now by setting preferredHeight for something. If you know the height of each entry, you can just use it. Standard are 121 pixel, for the moment, so I think ' preferredHeight: 121 * 2 "could function as a quick hack.

  • Hi, I am trying to save my edited images that are size 30 MB in JPEG format to send to print, but when I save they are lot to 5 MB any help is appreciated.

    Hello

I have problems trying to save my edited images are sized at 30 MB + in jpeg format to the same size that is needed for my print lab. For some reason, it resizes them to below 5MB. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.

You're confused image with dimensions in pixels size.

There is no problem as long as you has not changed the dimensions/resizing the image when you saved as jpg.

Check the dimensions in pixels of the original and the jpg - they should be the same.

To put it otherwise - size of the image in megabytes are not an indicator of the size of an image (the size it will print). Dimensions in pixels are.

In Muse, turning on this ability seems to allow the client to change everything on the page.

can it be controlled so that they can only change ares selected as a catalyst for business or dreamweaver?

    Hello

An precision: the bypass solution suggested by Stephen applies to sites published third-party guests. For published sites on Adobe Business Catalyst, the master page content is also editable.

Could you give some examples of content that you want to be changed in the browser?

  • Large brushes are not completely in Photoshop

I have the Photoshop CS5 extended to install on my laptop (old) and use it in a Photoshop class.  I'm having a problem with the display of the brush.  It seems fine for the small brushes, up to 200px.  As the brush size increased, portions of the 'circle' begin to disappear, and by the time I get to a 400px or more large brush, only 1/4 or less of the brush "circle" is displayed.  The specified portion is the upper-left quadrant of the circle.  My instructor said that she had never seen this problem before.  I checked and I have the latest video drivers for my laptop (Dell Latitude D820, who is 4 years old.)  I also deleted my preferences file and start again, but no change.  Any suggestions?  Kay

I assume you have the Quadro NVS display in adapter.  This is an old nVidia driver bug.

Did you visit Dell.com to see if you have the latest video driver?

You don't say what operating system you are using, but from what I see on their website, the driver they offer isn't too recent (156.83, since late 2007).  I'm not sure whether it can be newer than the one you are using, but if this is the case, you must download and install it.

Unfortunately, with laptops can't usually update the driver from the web site of the manufacturer of the video card, but it is sometimes possible.
