  The file alone is not enough to reproduce the error. If you choose 'Cancel' when the update links dialog box appears, the crash continue to experience? If this isn't the case, please discovers the active panel and look for the outdated links. (Click on the alert triangle icon in the column header to sort the active panel by State link.)

  I'm transforming a book in PDF and I get the error message unable to open a file (... < Filename > FM) and the dialog box unavailable fonts also appears.   The missing fonts message when you or FrameMaker opens the file. The solution is to open all the files in the book, or at least those with the "missing" font, clear the message for each file. Now print the book in PDF format, while keeping open files. It usually works because you already erased the messages of missing fonts.

• Table of contents by making a 'book' (.indb)

  Hi people,

  I have a question about the table of contents when creating a 'book' (.indb).

  Firstly a bit of background.

  I have a bunch of documents 2-3 pages (approximately 100 documents) that I need to be able to organize themselves into a book easily with the file > new > book... option. It's super easy, except for one thing, I can't get the table of contents to accuse the other documents in the book. It is just blank. The table of contents are set up very well and works if I import the pages of a document in another voluminous document but it does not work in the method 'Book'. I need to have people non-designer with virtually no training that often. These people will have to reorganize modular short documents fairly regularly, so I hope to stick with the 'book' method instead of having people mess with pages (to reduce the risk of change the drawings).

  Someone has a quick fix or know an existing tutorial? If this isn't the case, I would appreciate other assistance you can offer.

  Is it possible to export a file cc indesign book (indb) composed of several indd files a recomposable epub? The only option available on the menu drop-down of the book panel is «Export the book to epub...» "makes a fixed provision epub only. There is no option that I can find on the Panel book to export as a recomposable epub. And because it is a book, not a file individual indd, in the main file menu export option is grayed out. FYI, I can create a PDF and a static epub ebook, but I don't see any options for a recomposable epub.

  There is an option for EPUB (reflowable) just below EPUB (fixed provision). InDesign displays by default the last of them, that you used.
