  It is not clear what you mean by this statement.

  • There is an option in the contacts window in kind (names) of > name -is that what you mean?
  • Or that, when you open / switch to the contacts window, you see a list sorted by last name?

  Only in contact with an e-mail address will appear in the "Chooser". The list includes names in alphabetical order. For contacts with a first name and a registered name , the list will be sorted based on the preference granted to sort by in the Contacts window. Contacts with multiple email addresses will appear once for each address with the address in brackets after the name.

  Name is a special value built by WLMail contact data fields. It will consist of the first match found during the analysis of the data fields in the following order:

  2. First name + last name (in the order specified to sort by in the Contacts window)

  OMF does not automatically add a new data file.  You must explicitly add a new data file with the ALTER TABLESPACE ADD DATAFILE command tbsname.

  What is OMF is to provide a Unique name and a default size (100 MB) for the data file.  That is why the ALTER TABLESPACE... Command ADD DATAFILE that you run didn't need to specify the file size or file name.

  I have tab_trans of transactions table which has nearly 20 million records.
  He has entries of all transactions. If any transaction is canceled or partially canceled it also stored there.
  To know entirely cancelled transactions currently, we need calculate the sum of the amount of the transaction based on trans_date and trans_id.
  To avoid this, I want to add a new column to the table. But it takes a lot of time hell.

  Add the column without constraint, then fill the column. Once all the rows in the table are given in the new column, and then add the constraint not null.
