I noticed recently that my Time Capsule, Apple stopped Airport, my backup files. I tried to connect again using time machine with no luck. In addition, cannot access the additional drive connected to my time capsule. In addition, my air-printing capabilities does not work through the network of the time capsule but works if I set up access via my IP provider network. Finally, I disconnected my ethernet cable to make sure that wasn't the problem, ensured that my computer was connected via my wifi time capsule and tried to reconnect. No chance! Get the message 'error OSStatus 22'. Can someone advise?

The failure is not uncommon on El Capo... Not at all.. the best thing to do is a complete the TC factory reset and start over.

Start from a factory reset. No files are lost on the drive hard in doing so.

Universal factory reset

Turning off the TC... That is, remove the power supply cord or the power at the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds... Hold the reset button... be nice... Turn on always even now in reset... and keep holding in for another 10 seconds. You may need assistance because it is difficult to hold in reset and power on. It will show the success quickly flashing led front. Release reset... and wait a few minutes for the TC to reset and return with the factory settings. If the front LED flashes quickly you missed and simply try again. The reset is quite fragile in these... Press the key while it is just click away and not more... I've seen people bend lever or even break. I use a toothpick as a tool.

NB. None of your files on the hard drive of the TC are removed... This simply clears the settings of the router of the TC.

1 use names very short < 10 characters please... NO APPLE RECOMMENDED names. Without the space and pure alphanumeric characters.

If ensure that the TC is always the same IP address... you will need to do this on the main router using a dhcp reservation... or a bit more complex setup by using the static IP address in the TC. But it's important... seen deriving from intellectual property in all directions when OS X has DNS issues and cannot find his own name 5 min after a reboot done for poor network management.

4. check that your share on the computer name does not change... Make sure that it is also in line with the above... short without space and pure alphanumeric... but this change will mess up your TM backup... so be prepared to make a new, full backup. Sorry... keep this one for the second round, if you want to avoid a new backup.

5 attach the TC disc into the computer manually. In El Capitan, the instructions are slightly different. You can do so directly via the main screen to search using the box right below the search.

In Finder, go, connect to the server in the main menu,

Type in SMB://192.168.0.254 (or whatever ip of TC is that you made static. It's a default router 10.0.1.1 and I encourage people to stick with it unless you know what you're doing).

You can use the name... SMB://TCgen5.local where you replace TCgen5 with your name of TC... local is the default domain of the TC and does not change.

However the names are not so easy as... the IP address nor reliable. They are not at least not in Yosemite. The field can also be a problem if you are not clogged or wireless directly to the Treasury Board.

6. ensure that IPv6 is set to link-local only in the computer. For example wireless open network, wireless and Advanced preferences / TCP/IP... and the difficulty of IPv6. link-local only. Do the same for the ethernet if you use it.

It is very important... and with some ISPS now move to IPv6, we may need more information as your provider of access and current modem type.

It is a lot more jiggery pokery, you can try, but the above is a good start... If you still find not reliable... don't be surprised.

Watch Me Do is designed to replay the same click of mouse and keyboard events to the same speed. Think of driving your car to work and record each turn and stop. Then play each round and down at the same speed. What to do if while reading the traffic moves a little faster or a little slower? If you drive the same route to work, you could get a red light at an intersection that you had a green light to yesterday. "Watch Me" does not know how to deviate from these changes, so he'll just to stop and report an error. If iTunes launches slower or an event during playback takes longer to achieve because of different background running processes, it will have the same effect.

I am trying to build a disk image in CS6 again, but everytime I try, it gives me the error message "error OSStatus = - 5000". I searched and found other errors "OSStatus", but not this one. Does anyone have an idea why I would get this and how to fix it? It is a time sensitive issue, so I'd really appreciate any input.

Ah, nevermind! I thought of it on my own, haha. However, I'll leave this message for everyone who may have this problem. The solution is that I tried to build the disc image on an external drive. Apparently, you are not allowed to do. Which makes sense. Its fair. In any case, I hope this helps someone.

Option 1

Save and try to rebuild the library: press command and option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. The dialog that allows you to rebuild. Choose to repair the database. If this does not help, then try again, this time to help to rebuild the database.

If this does not work:

Option 2

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its function of reconstruction. (In early versions of the Library Manager, this is the file-> command Rebuild.) In versions later it is under the menu library.)

This will create a completely new library. It will then copy (or try) your photos and all associated metadata and versions to this library and as close as possible to what you had in the damaged library fix it. It does this based on the information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but it means that things not shared won't be there, so no slide shows, books or calendars, for example - but it should recover all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places.

Screen Messages Yosemite sharing stops pretty quickly

I use screen sharing Messages to help my mother of the older person with her pimp. Screen sharing sessions last no longer than a minute or two, when the session ends. I start the screen sharing session and when she accepts the request I request control which she accepts immediately. No matter if I try to perform a function on your computer, or nothing, about 1 minute the screen sharing session ends. Both computers are set with screen sharing, sharing of active files on his computer that remote access connection is enabled (but not on mine).

I have copied below the journal entries of my computer Console for several sessions that has that way. Before each session, I entered two markers and then manually placed a blank line between the markers in Notepad to make each more easily localized session (for me, at least). I couldn't find any specific newspaper for these failures of screen sharing session.

I'm on a MacPro 2008 beginning 10.10.5 running with a Comcast internet on 5 or 6 Mbps up and ~ 50 Mbps down.

She made a debut 2009 24 "iMac running 10.10.5 with Comcast Internet with about 3 or 4 Mbps up and ~ 30 Mbps down.

Can someone help me to diagnose the reason why these screen sharing sessions fail?

Transcoding in Encore error while burning a DVD

I recently downloaded CS6 again through creative cloud and it was working fine until I tried to burn my project to a DVD. He had almost finished the bulk of the video transcoding and it stopped and gave me this error: error OSStatus = - 47. My computer (which is a MacBook Pro) also gave me a message saying that still had a problem: [/ Volumes/versions/Amawat/hand/Adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac /... /.. / Src/Mac/MacFil e.cpp - 1104].
The video is quite long and has been exported from Final Cut Pro X to the H.264 format.
