  recently, I upgraded from Vista Home Premium 64 Bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Since then PE7 is unusable. Whenever I click on the button "Edit" orange and then on "Effects" or "transition" EP ends with the value default Windows Message "Adobe Premiere Elements has been a problem". I tried to repair the installation, unistalling EP 7, put it back, to use it in compatibility modes different for earlier versions of Windows, to rebuild the preset and the effects library - nothing works. It is not something specific to the project, it happens on all my projects and even if I create a new one that is completely empty.

  Here is my system:

  ASUS Rampage II Extreme

  Core i7 920 @ 3.6 Ghz (I tried to turn off my overclocking settings and used the processor to its default speed of 2.67 Ghz = > that didn't help either)

  Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

  NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GT

  The nvidia problem with PRE7 (this is the reason why I joined this forum - I think I hold the distinction for the first report of it).

  The update should fix your problem - I have the same exact and W7-64 card and everything works fine.

• Deselection of voice on improvement in Inspector restores the default settings.

I changed the settings, but when I deselected the effect in Inspector (clicked on the little blue box) to ignore the settings then changed the effect... all the settings changed back to their default values (except for the 'Quantity' slider). This isn't how it's working. Deselection of effect should work as a derivation not a reset. If someone else can confirm this?

  This happens even to the VOE effect when saving file > save Audio effects presets, inserted on clip, unchecked then reselected in the Inspector.

  I tried to update after effects but I received an error message, so I renamed the 1.0.old application support folder had the same error... Finally, I uninstalled after effects CC and went to download and reinstall but it's just stuck in "waiting."  Any suggestions?

  Looks like the attack is a bit slow, or you need to provide some reading room early for the filter to act accordingly.  I would disable the effect.  Then went on the audio together the chronology of a .wav file and that a hearing and apply the effect it.  At the hearing, place a marker at the top of the file.  Then copy about 4 seconds of audio / sound of your file and paste it before the marker.  This should give some time before reading the effect of work.  When he is satisfied with your editing, 'Apply' effect to the file and save it and import that into first.

  If you don't have a hearing, you can do the same by first using a new sequence to keep the audio only and add four additional seconds and apply the effect to the entire track (vs clip).

  I uninstalled After Effects 12.0.4 and restarted my computer.

  Creative Cloud Desktop then allowed me to download and install after effects 12.1 as expected.

  I do the same thing for first Pro CC, CC Prelude and SpeedGrade CC.

  I'm working on a mechanical safety video, and I wanted to show a picture of a document. This is a checklist of inspection document that I saved as a jpg.

  "I added a title on my calendar and then added the image of the title, but obviously condensation a 8.5x11" image, it is impossible to read. I just want brief show it entirely, then zoom in on the top of the page & slowly have it pan down the rest of the image so you can see what is on the checklist.
