  Hello

  I'm periodiacally to receive the following error message:

  Asset:///controls/DisplayResultsNavPages.QML:118:25: SearchResultsListItem QML: link detected loop for the property "previewImage".

  Here's a sample of my code, the error occurs in ListItemComponent, I need to call a function that will scrape a page in real time and then update the datmodel if the previewImage is empty.   I don't know if there is a better place to call the scrapePictureIfNeeded() thereby avoiding loop link detected the error, if there is or if you have some tips on how to avoid this error, it would be greatly appreciated...

• Can I add a value of textfeild for the navigation bar entry list label?

  I want to show the user name in the navigation in apex5 bar. Here I used a pl/sql code to get the user name of LDAP, authentication and pass it to a textfeild when connect you to the application. HERE pass the user name in the text field correctly. All I want is I want to show the value of text field in the navigation bar (the components shared-> details-> entry of the list concerned list) so, what is the syntax to add the value of the entry list Labeltext field? : P101_USER did not work. Please help me on this.

  For security reasons Login page elements are automatically empty, so P101_USER will contain no value when authentication is complete. Rather than use a Login page element, create a point application called USER_NAME and store the string CN value in that. It can be referenced in the entry of the Navigation bar using the syntax of static text substitution:&USER_NAME.

• Except for the color change of the Web of gifs

  I'm trying to 'save for web' a gif, and I get a change of color each time. I changed my color settings so that it is set to RGB monitor and it is extracted under test format as well. On the Save for Web window, making sure that "Convert to sRGB" is checked as well.

  Despite all this, the color change always happens. Here is a screenshot of my color settings:

  Saving as a gif you are inevitably reduce your color up to 256 colors gamet and so according to your original image you can result in a change of color simply by there. You must however not use your display profile in your color settings. If you want to put something on the web or in an application that is not color has managed the best choice is sRGB. Try these settings.

  I created a search with the use of criteria to display, query and table, which works perfectly with success.
  
  But I would like to improve the research by removing the empty space for the entry. For example, search for the name (with the search operator = Contains):

  I would like to remove the empty space at the beginning of the end (trim()) part of the entry.

Our users are very dependent on the software that will be replaced and several departments will learn their new job. Any suggestions on how to use e-Learning in order to enhance the understanding of the new software?

  Hi Lincoln,

  I worked on a number of large-scale IT change projects for international clients. I can make a few suggestions, some associated with Captivate, some e-Learning more generals linked.

  On projects like this, I tend to produce three types of training: face-to-face, interactive simulations/tutorials & quick reference card. Ideally all three are planned together, allowing you to create a unique instructional design plan. You want people to be entered into the system, learning to be reinforced, and then everyone to be taken in charge.

  Face to face training usually contains a lot of show and tell, where users are shown how to perform tasks and then get themselves doing. Ideally a number of small tasks included and repeated, so they are all brought together by getting the learners to follow realistic scenarios that need all the discrete tasks to accomplish together. I find that a lot of training is not integrate deeply with real jobs of the people and of world using real scenarios helps improve performance and restraint. I did materials where parts of carriage have been pre-recorded, what you can do with Captivate.

  Interactive tutorials are usually used as material follow-up to face-to-face modules, allowing learners to go through simulations with guidance when they do something unexpected, well that sometimes there is no face-to-face training and interactive tutorials provide all teaching. These sometimes include sections which simply display to users and ask questions later. Sometimes, they become very complex branching scenarios. Usually, I build all in Captivate, although I find quite buggy and frustrating at times.

  Finally, I build small reminder. They are very specific and see the how a well defined work, such as an existing customer address changes. Sometimes Captivate movies, sometimes they are PDFs, they are often implemented as both. They can be embedded and/or linked from the help screens and the FAQ, as well as used in responses from support and further training of the emails. The films tend to be short and sweet: length of 30 to 120 seconds.

  In an ideal world, the number of working tools is growing rapidly after the implementation in response to requests for support from users, even if in reality I often anticipate what users will find it difficult and create all these prerequisites for the launch.

  If you are going to use Captivate to your project, then I suggest that you test, test and test again before accepting that you will send. It's a little a lot of software, in theory, but it is quite buggy. I'm working on a project with CP6.1 and I have a lot of audio sync problems and video corruption problems publish my last work for less than the MP4 videos.

  In terms of effort, my golden rule is 20%, planning, design of 60% and the scripts and implementation of 20%.

• InDesign CS4 does not display the icon in the shape of triangle for the images changed into links

  My InDesign crashed the other day and now it gives me is no longer the yellow triangle icon in the links Panel to indicate that image has been changed and must be updated. I generally do not connect the image to the original through Indesign, but work independently in Photoshop. This has never been a problem. After that I updated the image in PS, the triangle appears instantly in ID in order to be able to click on it and update the image.

  I can always click on the Refresh button to update the image, but I wish that these rear indicators because it helps me with older documents - so that I can know what are the images really need to update and which are not.

  I restarted the Panel and launched and closed the bridge such as suggested in other older discussions, and he has not made a difference. I also noticed that if I try to open the original image by ID with open with, the icon for the PS, for example, doesn't think I'm in PS (it opens the image in Windowd Paint). It makes me wonder is the whole connection between ID and PS is messed up. How can I correct this connection?

  the specification of the user that is displayed as DD-MON-YYYY dates. Is there a config or properties file that contains the date format for display? Is there a drop down calendar which can be positioned next to an input field to date for a question on a screen?

  Just had a look at this takeover bid 10.1 on my machine.

  I noticed that for an attribute date as on a screen, when you use Input type = Year, Month and Day edits (in the file screens), it seems to display the three drop-down lists in the same order (day, month, year), regardless of what's been defined in the configuration line "input-date-formats" in messages. file .properties (locale).

  However, I was not sure of your email if the DD-MON-YYYY format was necessary for the entriesto date, or just for the display of date output. If the latter, then using the following in your messages. (place) .properties file...

  output-date-format = yyyy-MMM-dd
  

  ... will translate dates displayed like this: 1980-Jan-27

  To force the OWD to accept only dates of entry of user in the format '1980-Jan-27' then you can edit the line input-date-formats of configuration:

  input-date-formats = yyyy-MMM-dd
  

  ... However, it is rare to restrict the dates of entry into a single format. As you will see in the messages. (locale) .properties file entry-date-formats is set to a combination of common entry to the regional settings date formats, in addition to the ISO international date format (YYYY-MM-DD, e.g. 1980-01-27).

  Based on the permissions granted to the user, it will have access to it. If user is to have total control, then it may have change dashboard, else if the user read only access to the dashboard while he can't have the dashboard option change.

• Lightroom 2 detects don't not PSE for the option "change in".

  I'm doing the extra change to post-secondary studies after my settings in Lightroom.  I know I have to go to Photo-> Edit in and the PSE option should be highlighted, but it is not.  I went to Lightroom-> Preferences-> external editing and it does not appear.  It says "Edit in Adobe Photoshop (not found), but I have PSE not PS.»  I launched PSE in the hope that the problem, but it wasn't.

  How can I solve this problem?  I'm new to Lightroom, working with the evaluation version while my version full of ships and should be here tomorrow. I bought the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Kelby book, but it is not the problem.

  Try adding PSE as external of your addition Editor.

• How to change the constant value for the property node "Disabled"?

  I enclose one vi example of what I'm willing to do. It happens during the event for "left selectorrogrammed 1: changing values.»

  Basically, I created a property to a Boolean LED control node. Once clicked, I'm eager to turn it off so that the user cannot change the value (I have a reset all button for use on that).

  I created the node property for this control for disabled people.  When I'm in the block diagram, I change to write mode.

  I rt clicked on it and said: ' create constant ", he does.  However, the constant comes each time as "Enabled". I tried clicking on this constant and looking through all of that property, but I can't find a way to scroll the values or set the value of this constant to "Enabled" to "disabled."

  I see where you can change the elements of this constant... but I guess there is a way to switch this constant to the value you want... any suggestions?

  To change a constant value, your cursor must be in the mode 'finger '.

  You can select this option in holding down the SHIFT key and right-click on the diagram - then select the finger.

  Another way is to put the automatic selection of tools:

  Tools > Options > environment > lock automatic selection of tools

  With this option, LabVIEW will choose the tools for you.
