Electric shocks of MacBook Pro + iPhone?

So I got a MacBook Pro 13 "mid 2012 and an iPhone 6s.

When the charger is plugged into any one of these devices, if I touch my arm to the chassi of the macbook I get electric shocks (small, but still feelable). Also if I put something against the camera on my iPhone when it is charging, I get the same thing.

When the MacBook to charge and the work that I have my arms against the chassi, what are my options? Is it supposed to be like this? I want to say, after getting little shocks as 4 - 5 times on the MacBook I put it there and I felt stings in my arms for 20-30 minutes after that?

What the * I am supposed to do? What's wrong?

If you use the 2-pin adapter, place you in the 3.

I just bought an iPhone refurbished, 5 s.  After recharging, I started the installation process.  The next time that I loaded, I had a terrible shock when I hit the phone.  It happened to be sitting right next to my MacBook Pro at the time, but I dunno if that was related to the problem.  It seemed that the entire phone was alive with electricity and it was pretty scary.  I unplugged it immediately and everything was ok.  It didn't happen the next time I loaded, but I kept it away from my MacBook Pro.  I googled the problem and items found on people getting some pretty bad shocks to iPhone, but that we found items "Apple leans on it."  I never heard if Apple found nothing.  This phone is safe?

  • sync iPhone system 10 iTunes 11.4 on MacBook Pro

I just updated my iPhone OS 10 5 and now I can sync is no longer the phone with my laptop MacBook Pro running iTunes on system 10.6.8 11.4

When connected, the phone will ask you to 'trust' of the computer. I select "trust", but a window on the computer with the message: "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone 'Janet Katz' because an invalid response was received from the device."

Is there a workaround or setting solution that needs to be changed?

    Janet Katz

    Hi, Janet...

The problem is that your Mac works an obsolete OS X 10.6.8. iTunes for Mac minimum requirement is v10.9.5 or later which is indicated here > http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

The alternative is to see if your Mac can upgrade to Mac OS Sierra > macOS - how updated - Apple

With Sierra installed you can run the latest version of iTunes 12.5.1 and should be able to sync your iPhone.

  • MacBook Pro can't see hotspot USB iPhone

I regularly use the iPhone to create a WiFi personal hotspot to feed my MacBook Pro. It works fine over WiFi but not via the USB port. Says 'the cable is unplugged,' which is not true. I tried different cables to eliminate the thread as the problem.

The Mac does not generally consider USB to be a network protocol.

You have a reason why you think it should work?

  • I can't paste the 6 Iphone to MacBook Pro

    Hello

I tried to take advantage of the universal and text clipboard copied MacBook Pro Safari and pasted into the Iphone 6 without any problem, but I just couldn't do it the other way. Nothing of what I have copy to iphone be transferred to Mac for the collage. Transfers are on both devices, Bluetooth and Wi - Fi.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, FCB877!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. Based on your post, I see that you are trying to use the universal Clipboard; It works if you copy on your Mac and paste on your iPhone, but can find copy on the iPhone do not stick to the Mac. I know this is a very typical practice and want to help makes sure that it works in two ways!

Since it runs Mac to iPhone, looks like you have everything set as described in the following article: macOS Sierra: copy and paste between devices

The article does indicate that the copied information is available for a short period on the other device, so the first thing that I would say if you are having problems, iPhone copy and paste to the Mac, is that you wait long to do this; try to copy the iPhone and stick right away for the Mac. If you can't copy and paste even with almost immediate timing, try the following:

    1. Restart your Mac by clicking on the menu Apple  and choice of restarting... in the drop-down menu. Then restart the iPhone, as described here: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

Test the copy and paste functionality

    2. See if this works from the iPhone to the computer, even if your Mac is started in safe mode. Information about safe mode and the startup can be found here: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up

Even if the title of the article is not specific to your question, safe mode is always a good step to take. It runs a scan of your system when you start and then disables some software and processes that might cause interference. Note how to copy / paste works in safe mode, and then restart and try again.

    3. Try in another Mac user account. This article provides information on how this can be a useful step and how to create a new user account: How to test a question in another account on your Mac user

    Hi iambjan,

I understand that your MacBook Pro has been lost by the intermediary of find my Mac mode. Fortunately, you can go to the off mode lost through the steps described below.

You can disable the lost Mode by entering the password of the device, or by following the steps below. Alternatively, you can follow the steps below to change the details displayed on your lost device.

Note: If your credit cards and debit to pay Apple have been suspended because you put your iPhone in lost Mode, when you disable lost Mode and reconnect to iCloud, you can continue using your cards.

    1. Go to find my iPhone on iCloud.com.

If you don't find my iPhone on iCloud.com, your account has fair access to the web features only iCloud. To access find my iPhone and other iCloud features, set up on your device iOS or Mac iCloud.

    2. Click on all devices, and then select the device that is lost.

    3. Click on lost Mode, then change the information or lost the stop Mode.

  • Bluetooth connection between iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro (mid-2014)

I'm trying to connect my iPhone to my MacBook Pro 6 so that I can use the universal Clipboard function in the Sierra. Both devices are updated, software-wise, and both devices meet the requirements of continuity system.

When the settings bluetooth for the MacBook, I see my iPhone listed as a discoverable device.  When I click on the "even" button, the numeric code appears, followed by the notification on my iPhone to confirm the code. As soon as I confirm it, the screen bluetooth on my MacBook poster that my phone is connected for a few seconds then disconnects.  After that, my phone will say that the device, that I am trying to connect is out of reach, even if both devices are currently sitting side by side on my coffee table.

It could very well be a simple solution to what I forget quite simply, if I appreciate any help that can be provided.

    Hi olly739,

I understand that you do not want to use the universal Clipboard with your iPhone and your Mac. If both of your devices meets the hardware requirements so the following configuration requirements, you are ready to use the universal Clipboard (no necessary Bluetooth pairing).

Steps to follow for the universal use of Clipboard:

    1. On a single device, copy the text, image or video as you normally would. This content is added automatically to the Clipboard of your other device nearby. She stayed briefly, or until replace you it by copying something on each device.
    2. On the other device, paste the content as you normally would.

I bought a MacBook Pro in 2011 and I have an iPhone 5 s. I'll be living in Thailand for work and need to know whether or not I need to purchase adapters/converters to recharge my appliances safely.

If you have a good cable and adapter to the power outlet, you should be fine.   Products Apple generally work with any voltage between 100 and 250 v.

  • MacBook Pro keeps restarting after iPhone updated 9.3.5

Given that I didn't have at least a 50% load, I connected my iPhone 6 s to my MacBook Pro (10.11.6) updated the phone to v. 9.3.5. The phone updated fine, but now my Mac keeps on rebooting over and over again. The display shows the Apple logo and progress bar, but there are thin horizontal red lines across the entire screen. When the progress bar is full, the gray screen runs for about 10 seconds and then restarts, and it does the same thing again. I have absolutely no idea what to do. Can anyone help?

  • Is it possible to have the data stored in a set of a version of the iphone on a macbook pro?

I have a game (canton) on my iPhone 5s and I would play on my mac because of the larger screen. The same edition of the games is available on a Macbook pro, but it will not save the data from my iPhone and it shows as two separate games. Is there a way to get around this? (If no, Apple, I'd really that if your company might consider it in the next updates)

As Apple is not the developer of this game, Apple has nothing to do with how it works. Contact the developer to see if it is possible to do what you want. If this isn't the case, suggest that they they feel.
