  I have photoshop elements 5.0 and have had no problems with it during the last years of couple that got him so far.   First, try a reset of the application preferences file.

(Camera Raw would probably give an error of Camera Raw, but something to check because it's at a standstill to plug-ins).

  Have you recently added a 3rd party plug-ins... which means that downloaded and installed a plug-in that came with elements? If so, rename them or with a ~ in front of the name.

  Check if the items begins. If Yes, you can remove ~ mark of each plug in one at a time, and then restart until you get the hang. This will tell you which plug causes elements to hang.

  When I google plug-ins, I get a bunch of plug-ins sites, but these won't work for PSE8?  Also, how do I save plug-ins?  Should I just move to a different folder?  Sorry, I'm new to this.

• Firefox blocks no plug-ins

  Under all: permissions I put plug-ins for 'always ask' under 'all pages '. However if I set any page to "allow" all pages is set to allow. The simply looking at "all pages" will be solved I return to "always ask" for all pages. However, regardless of what is on, plug-ins are played automatically for all pages.

  I read somewhere that the Nik plug-ins are not compatible with El Capitan. Is this true? I'm about to upgrade to El Capitan.

• PSE 14 update didn't download Plug-Ins

  Just upgraded from PSE13 to 14, new editor version will link is no longer with OnOne perfect Photo 9.5 automation complete set of files in PSE13 are missing from the PSE14.

  Have updated video driver level, but it wasn't the problem.  Relaoded PSE14, still no files.

  Photoshop Elements

  It seems that when you download a new version of the EP such as PSE14, the Authomation of Plug-Ins will not work until you reload the real decision-making in the program.  In my case, I rebooted OnOne Perfect Photo 9.5 and voila, PSE14 connected thorugh automatically plug into files, and now the link Automation not is therefore more "grayed out" and the plug in works as it should.

• Cannot sweep ImportModules he moved to Plug-Ins folder.

  I assume that you mean 10.3, but rather 10.9.3. You reinstall your scanning software after reinstalling OS X? Is what scanner? Do you mean that you can scan in PSE 12 before the repair, but not after?

• Why not "item 10 only editor" allow the use of Nik Software plug-ins?

  I was very happy yesterday when I noticed in the Apple App store a version of items called "Item 10 only editor" was for sale.  Since I never use the Organizer is perfect for me.  Unfortunately, it will not Nik software plugins to install.   There are no "plugins folder" included.  In every other sense, the "Editor elements 10 only" version is wonderful.  Load fast, tracks clean and fast and is just something wonderful and something that I was hoping would come along the years.  I can't believe that adobe does not allow for the use of plug-ins.  Looks like I've lost only $80.

• Moving items to CS5 plug-ins

  I've just installed for CS5 and have been using 8 elements, I bought the TopazLabs card in the package a few weeks ago and now I want them to work in my Photoshop CS5.  Can someone please tell me the steps to take to move or copy in CS5, I'm not sure 100% where they are going.  I saw the plug in folder in CS5 in my "program file (x 86) > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS5 > Plug-Ins."  Is this the right path? Also, I just throw the files one by one or go into a specific folder once I'm in the plig in the folder itself.  I have 12 records of differentiation within the card in the folder/file.  I need some assurance to make sure I do it correctly.  I don't want to ruin it with CS5.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  One of the issues that you might face will be if you run on an operating system 64-bit or 32-bit. Many plug-ins are still 32-bit only.

  What OS do you have?

  That means "Topaz" say about this plugin for PS CS5?

  There are also at least two other recent threads of "Topaz". A search of this forum might give you some useful information, then save a search more far.

• for the 3rd party plug-ins access problem in CS4 Extended, (need help!)

  I downloaded recently, successfully, in my new copy of PhotoShop CS4 Extended 11.0 version. I then updated the program to version 11.0.1. I was (and am still), using my Photoshop Elements 7.0 and have been very successful download and access to my OnOne Software plug-in, Genuine Fractals 6.0 and FocalPoint 2.0 as well as some filters from NIK Software.

  So I was excited to start using CS4 Extended and the first thing I did after the download and update was to load my FocalPoint 2. plugin. Now, I had spent literally 20 hours in total over a period of 2 consecutive days trying every variation I could think to place the Plugin, (one of them), in the program of CS4 so that I can access and open them at will. But I can't do them appears in the section "Controller" in the drop-down list of menu files. They also do NOT appear under "Plug-ins" in the drop-down Help Menu.

  As I said earlier, I have no problem with their use in my Photoshop Elements 7 and I just got a reply from Support Adobe technique that said that these Plugins will certainly work in CS4 Extended. But they also felt that the problem must be addressed by the manufacturers of Pugin. I'll try to contact them as well, but I don't expect much because this view is inconsistent with the fact that these same Plugins work fine on the PSE 7.

  I have an AMD Phenom X 4 2.0 GHz with 8 GB of Ram and an ATI Radeon 4600 all in my desktop HP Pavilion p6230f PC. My operating system is Windows 7.0 Edition Home Premium 64-bit.

  If plugins do not appear in the 64-bit application, they are not written probably for 64 bit.
