Eloqua has Eloqua followed up on the TopLiners site?

If not, is it possible to Eloqua followed within a community platform of Jive?

We don't have them here! There is an easy place in the Jive administration console where you can add scripts. We dropped just the code there and voila!

    Does anyone know of a workaround or alternative Eloqua followed on custom URLs? For our emails in the event, I need to create a URL customized with event ID. the user I could successfully merge this in the link, but because it's a hosted page I also track clicks. However, by clicking on "Redirect (for pages not linked)", he added the '? elqTrack = true' and breaks the bond.

  • Link the Eloqua Customer Central points to EU and Topliners... what support?

    Hello.. just noticed that links to areas of support have changed once again.

    The only way I can now seem to access my case is if I go to Eloqua today and you click on the link.  Usually, I'm in the middle of troubleshooting of an article and it was very nice to be able to hit this "Customer centric" link at the top of the page and choose if I wanted to go to Eloqua University, community (Topliners) or the Support Portal...  WITHOUT having to waste my place inside Eloqua itself that I start have reported/double checking the items on the new case (IE, taking screenshots, to check if there are solutions or if I can consistently reproduce the problem - whatever it is, etc, etc.).

    Or is it possible that the link is there, but instead of horizontally as before, I'm not vertically and my IE is not let me scroll down?  (I noticed this before with Eloqua sites... Something very wobbly and I am not able to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page at all).

    Otherwise, anyone having this problem or is it just me?

  • Extra addition to Eloqua tracking emails/forms

    Hi Topliners,

    Someone at - it no indication as to the way in which we can add extra on top of standard Eloqua followed by follow-up campaigns?  Things like Google Analytics and decisive (analytical and environmental commitment), tracking codes.  I know that in most of the REE there are ways to add tracking to all external links.  something like this is possible in Eloqua?

    Goals:

    -Add tracking to determine the % of readers on mobile/tablet/desktop

    -integrate our GA structure with Eloqua to include that for our channel email reports

    Hi Dominick,

    Can of course! In fact, it's called external monitoring in Eloqua. Allows you to configure a 'global' definition so that each email link has automatically set the query string added at the end with the specified values, be it static or merged in based field on some system information (e.g., name, Email name, acquiring company campaign). Go to settings > Setup > default email. From there, you will see the creation of external monitoring, if you have activated it and what configuration is implemented. To define a new configuration, select the menu Advanced Options in the upper right corner, and then select manage external monitoring. Another screen, you will be able to configure the query string parameters and values.

    The only "witch hunt", you use "static" versions of the following scripts. The static version is all the names of relative path encoded in javascript.

  • Permissions of the user - advice?

  • Need to export Solution involving E-mail groups

    We need to automate the export daily of Eloqua following information:

    email address                                                  (ex. ( [email protected] )

    Group/preference/subscription email (e.g. generation Joshua)

    status of the subscription (e.g. subscribed, no, no. Status)

    What is the best way to do it?  I have .NET developers on staff who have worked with other supplier repeatedly API. Eloqua publish/document their dictionary of data/diagram showing what are the names of the fields in each Table?

    The post following on Topliners (How to describe one Type of asset) you will help identify the 'ID', 'Name' and 'Type' exports you have available.

    You can simply replace the "contactGroup.Select" of the sample with "DataExport.

  • How we prevent email links to be considered as 'Click-Through'

    I have a link in the email that goes to a page Web Eloqua followed. The link itself is not followed. When I click the link it registered it as a 'click Through '. I can see that in the activity of lead as a "Click-Through".

    I need a solution that prevents the mentioned link to be considered as 'Clicks' in lead activity above.

    One thing you can try is to use a Shortener to link to the middle like Bit.ly. You can create a shortcut link that points to your last URL, then in your email, you can link to the shortened version. It breaks the continuity and as long as you have not followed is enabled for the connection, you should see is more clicks on caterpillars.

  • Possible to program a list shared automatic export to a server?

    Hello - is it possible?  We work with a third party who send e-mails on our behalf and need access to a shared list that stores cancels his subscription.  The person who manages the publication doesn't have access to Eloqua, nor do I want to give them access.  Anyone already done this?

    I did it in the past and we establish this as an ongoing process. Don't know if you're on E9 or E10, but steps would be same report E9 or Insight reports.

    1. go in a report called Contacts by the contents of the Contact field and Contact filter and choose the field value and the Contact filter that checks the opt-out, save the report.

    2. now go to the Admin and report under your name, you can choose to export report only ftp the report within a reasonable time (daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly) to the ftp of your seller site or create an update by e-mail, if the quantity is less and send them in an e-mail report, under Choose an option of Excel.

    There are many other options using the Eloqua API http://topliners.eloqua.com/community/code_it/blog/2013/01/03/eloqua-api-chart--supported-operations, but it would be a simple.

    I googled "sand internet breakdowns" and my heart skipped a beat.  Is there something we should know regarding application Eloqua, connectors of cloud, delegating Apps or other applications?

    Like yours, our website relies on several services ads and track information, IE. DemandBase, Google Services, Eloqua followed.

    Here's an ABC article titled "a tough week for the Internet as Major Sites experience failures" that says "if one of the big services or an Amazon or Google breaks down it can affect hundreds of other services."

    You definitely raise a good point, I am sure that other members of the community have questioned.

    All the basic features of the Eloqua application are currently hosted on our own infrastructure in the co-location facilities operated by our technology partners carefully selected.  This means that many stops the man named in the article that you referenced would not have affected the main feature of the Eloqua application.  With this in mind, there are some parts of the application which are dependent on other providers, such as our cloud connectors.  Although we do our best to ensure that we select capable partners who are committed to provide highly available services, from time to time, these suppliers will experience system problems.

    Hurricane (or any natural disaster) certainly has the ability to degrade the functionality of the internet in the way of failures, failures of communication system; However, you can be assured that at Eloqua we worked with our technology partners to ensure that we are collectively better prepared as we can.  Fortunately, our infrastructure and applications were designed with considerable redundancy, to help reduce the likelihood of interruption in these situations.

    Hi all, I am the Chief of product on loop at the Eloqua.

    Track us responses to the campaign for 12 months after the end date.  It is mainly because customers use campaigns differently.  Usually, the end date is the last day, they want to campaign on the Web to run.  But rarely, it means that they do not want answers to registered campaign and leads created after the end of the campaign.  Often the answers will come after that date to end.  We used to allow customers to tell us how many months they wanted follow-up of responses after the campaign end date, but we found that it was confusing to customers and that more simply put in one year.  If we define that one for all customers. If you have a use case where you really need answers to not be tracked after the end of the campaign, please let me know.

    Is there as for any other use of the end date, it is used a lot in the reports.  Most of the campaign in Insight reports is based on the Date Active campaign.  For example, if you run the campaign analysis report, and get you the last month of the campaign Active Quick Date, the report will display only campaigns that were active at some point in the last month (i.e. started before last month, do not have, or started in the month and nerve).  Then, for all measures contained in this report, it is for all activities on these campaigns.  Not for activity that occurred in the last month.  It is because this report is supposed to show a whole overview of your entire campaign.
