Eloqua forms/Landing Pages in iframe?

Is it possible to place Eloqua forms and/or landing page in an iframe in our website? Will this work even as if forms and/or landing pages have been made in the fashion of regular Eloqua?

Thank you.

You can do it. Some considerations: size, confirmation page action, field (https/http) and passing parameters in query string to the iframe - i.e. elq, PURL, campaign ID, source of lead and other dynamic query string parameters.

  • Scripts customized Eloqua Landing Page

Support told me to try and post my question on top coatings.

We have an application on our website (route - map Group Hub)

If you fill in all the information and click on "itineraries expore" another form will go up.

It is now an Eloqua w landing page / form Eloqua. (http://solutions.hubgroup.com/LP=92) The original values, Destination, weight, frequency and Volume have been entered on the previous card application had to be shot in the form of Eloqua.  That's how it worked in the past, but recently stopped values sucked by.  On http://solutions.hubgroup.com/LP=92, we have hidden fields that had to accept these values.  You can see on the (enclosed) altert that values are not themselves pulled in hidden fields.  However, by looking at the URL, you can see that the values are being captured.

My question is, how do solve us this problem so that the values of the shape of the card is pulled into the hidden fields on the landing page/form Eloqua?

Support said it is possible with scripting on the landing page?

    Thank you

There is actually a connector of clouds out there to do just that!  The connector of the Population of form (link below).

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) on Eloqua Landing pages

I'm a big fan of Google Tag Manager, and I'd love to add it to our Eloqua (E10) landing pages. Try to add in the code snippets JS generates an error. I saw a discussion about GTM, but it has been on the addition of tags Eloqua in the container. I saw a suggestion regarding the use of the static component of content Cloud - wouldn't this mean having to build a separate component for each page?

Someone at - it chance with that?

Yes unfortunately it is overall don't understand... That means manually include on the old pages...

  • Link to landing page not appearing is not on the canvas of the campaign, well that related to e-mail

    Hello world!

I have a simple campaign running with two emails. Two of these emails contain links tracked on the same landing page.

This home page is also used in another campaign.

When I save and activate the campaign, connection lines do not automatically appear between email and landing page. When I try to delete the destination page and refreshing of the canvas, the emails do not show the small rectangle in the lower corner which would indicate there is a landing page that is linked to. I added it again, same result - no connection. But when I test - send an email to myself, the links do appear in the destination page, so I don't see what the problem is with them.

Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

you insert as that redirect the links? If so, eloqua hosted landing pages can be linked directly... you will then see the link between email and landing on the canvas page

  • Download of landing pages

Working with a new body who do not know the Eloqua.  For the first time, we use the download feature in Eloqua to landing pages rather than WYISWYG. This is not my forte - I'm not good at coding, etc.

They argued the landing pages for me, with outside JS and CSS for html to call. And so I learned that it does not work in Eloqua. I know I could put the css docs in the content library, but it doesn't have to move in this direction. Instead, we he changed so that the html code includes these elements in the html code (again, not an expert, so I can be totally butcher my descriptions here).

In any case, the Agency is really satisfied with this method of doing things.  Does anyone have any comment on that? Is - it really against best practices? Is there something else we could do? All the comments I've seen on Topliners, etc. suggested that people are generally satisfied with the product html download in Eloqua for landing pages. I don't know how we had such massive disconnection or how to facilitate this operation. Appreciate the comments of the Eloquans!

We are a little new in this process, so you can take my comments with a grain of salt.  What we have found so far, is that it is easier to work with landing pages in Eloqua if the CSS and JS are online, as you saw.  Which allows you to make changes directly in the Eloqua html editor.  Otherwise, if you need to make changes in the CSS or JS, you will need to change the external files, download the new versions to the content of Eloqua, and then re-link to the new versions of CSS and JS library.  And you should probably remove older versions of the files, just so that you have not confused.  The file library includes a function to update a file in place but it works so slowly that they are useless.

Is - this recommended?  No, it isn't.  The use of external CSS and JS files is a common practice in the design of web pages and has been for some time.  But as far as I know, Eloqua does support the use of the files CSS and JS separated well enough to make at least a practical function, if you try to host all the files on the servers of Eloqua.  I think that it is an area where Eloqua could greatly improve.

There is another alternative.  You can host the files CSS and JS outside the repository of Eloqua, for example on your own website.  Link to these files directly from your Eloqua HTML landing page.  Then, as long as you have a good process to make changes to these files as necessary, and deploy quickly, you do not need to go through the hassle of trying to maintain links to files in the repository of Eloqua since they change over time.

  • Can you do random split A / B test Eloqua forms and landing pages?

I know you can use a connector of cloud to randomize A / B testing for email, but what are the forms and landing pages?

The two ways that I would suggest would be to either:
    (a) have two emails leading to two separate landing pages (containing the same (or different) forms, - using A / B test on the email you can randomize which in your segment Gets A email or email B,-which would be duly can be spent at LP A or B of the LP - this would allow you to see exactly the number of visiting each page.)

or (more technical, but tidy solution):

    b) -have separate two distinct forms, both hosted in the LP even, but as the content blocks.
Then use a little JavaScript function to randomize a number between 1 and 100 from the loading of the page and for all even numbers display content a. (form containing A) & for all the odd numbers display content block B (containing the form B).  -you could then report on shipments of respective form to see how successful they were. -
You may have a third form with only two fields (e-mail & random number) by on page load after has defined the random number which content is displayed, an AJAX form Send behind the posts of scenes the email of visitors & random number to the third form - this would include visitors who bounce before submitting a form, & then you could report to the actual visitors to each page against the numbers they have been assigned (thusly allowing you to see the content that was displayed to then report on the rate of success of subsequent form remittances).

    I hope that helps?

    Sincere greetings,

    AB

  • Blind form submit on Landing Pages?

You can add a store form submit to a landing page? I know that they are generally used in emails, but just curious.

    No problem.

You need to create the blind form submit URL (same process as in an email: Eloqua10: trigger multiple actions with a click-through email (via 'send blind form')). You probably need to add a few mergers field (if the page where the blind form submit lives is a landing page Eloqua) or some sort of database search to fill in the values of the blind form submit URL.

    For example:

    http://s[SITE_ID].t.Eloqua.com/e/F2?elqFormName=[ELQ_FORM_NAME]&elqSiteID= [SITE_ID] &EmailAddress= email & retURL = [URL_TO_THE_ASSET]

In the above example, the e-mail address must be dynamic and a merger of field was used.

  • Dissect of Eloqua own AdWords Landing Page and URL with query string parameters, please!

I presume that for AdWords landing pages are one of the most common types in use. I'm at a new company and try to create an approach that uses the latest methods. HAFS is gradually, and a large part of the information contained in the Topliners is old (2011) as these popular posts

What is the best way to track Google adwords through Sales Force?
How to capture Sources referring to forms and Landing Pages using query strings

and the references using javascript to analyze the parameters in the screens that is 2009 and is not exactly what Eloqua uses today.

I started to look at what Eloqua uses in its own marketing efforts and saw the potentially useful parts and parts that are confusing. I thought it would be useful if someone could dissect the code of the landing page and explain how each part of the code is. I'm OK with short descriptions and references to other articles or messages to explain the different parts that have not changed.

Here's a page url to use. I added 'x' before each additional parameter then click top ruin the campaign stats.

Here are some specific questions that I hope can be answered:

    • What you rely on Google to deliver you in their reports vs. what you capture discrete parameters: elqoffer, GoogleCampaign and sls
    • You use the gclid itself? How?
    • Is there a new better method for parsing of URLS and using hidden fields settings?
    • How do you use Eloqua cookies at the same time to send the form of Adwords?
    • You dynamically change the landing page?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mike,.

I'm on the Ops of Eloqua Marketing team and can shed light on some of your questions.  I hope this helps!

    • What you rely on Google to deliver you in their reports vs. what you capture discrete parameters: elqoffer, GoogleCampaign and sls

    • elqoffer - we use elqoffer to indicate that the offer is valid for adword.  The value we deliver is used for many things.  Of course, we use it for reporting purposes, but we also set up our steps to use this value in a hidden field to redirect to the appropriate page supply once the form and also send the appropriate autoresponder of form processing.  We set up a dropdown list (aka select list) cards offer URL values (for the page of the offer) and another list of choices cards offer values to email ID (for the answering machine).
    • elqchannel - we also usually include a query string for the elqchannel who tells us the General source of the Contact (e.g. Google, Bing, etc.).
    • SLS - is essentially the Source of lead (sls = source of specific lead).  We use it to fill a hidden fields that reach "lead Source - Original" and 'Lead Source - the most recent'.  For us, the source of the specific lead is a very granular (and non-General, such as 'research') but includes a lot of information based on a strict naming convention.
    • That's what we use Eloqua to adwords, but we also use an SEO company to help us optimize our search spend.  To do this, they provide their own tracking code we put on the landing page initial as well as the page of the offer (ie. confirmation page).  To get the code on our LP, we use the cloud "Static content" component that allows you to place any custom code you want in the body of the HTML code.  Unfortunately, I don't have details on what exactly is captured with this code, or how it is used.
  • You use the gclid itself? How?
    • I don't know the answer to this one.  It's someone else on our team that works closely with an SEO company, so I think they know.
  • Is there a new better method for parsing of URLS and using hidden fields settings?
    • YES!  You may have noticed, we have some Javascript on our landing page that does a few things.  First of all, he did a Web data search in Eloqua to see if you are a known visitor and if so, we can pre-fill the form with information we already know the visitor.  The other thing is the JS is populate our hidden fields with the values of query string.  We started to do this before I had a cloud component that eliminates the need for JS custom.  You can use Form Population App to do all that for you.
  • How do you use Eloqua cookies at the same time to send the form of Adwords?
    • I'm not 100% sure I know what you're asking here, but my answer to the previous question can also respond to this one.  Data search Web first checks the Eloqua cookie to retrieve your email address, and then it uses this email address to search for your Contact field values and pre-fill the form.
  • You dynamically change the landing page?
    • We're not changing dynamically the landing page.  Usually, a visitor to click through to an Eloqua email or visit a page PURL.  Dynamically present the offer page based on the value of the query string for "elqoffer."  Looking for an application Cloud released in the coming days that will allow you to place the dynamic content on this initial landing page based on your cookie.
  • The way we structure our campaigns is based on the balance between reporting requirements while maintaining their operational efficiency.  For example, we do want to create a new campaign for each offer that we have.  That would quickly overwhelm our team.  For 2013, we have created 3 campaigns:

    1 research

    2. 3rd party Emails

    3 display ads

Each of these campaigns have only 1 formula on it (one for research, one for email and display ads).  Each offer has its own landing page (see screenshot below).  The campaign of the report combined with the data of the form layout give us the requirements we need to understand what is working and what is not.

TIP: If you have custom data objects, you can also consider creating one that seizes all shipments form for each of your forms in 1 place.  This way, you need only 1 set of data instead of individual export for each form of export.

  • Why forms and landing pages do not stay tied on canvas campaign?

I'll put up some test campaigns to run this week to test our integration between Eloqua and our two instances of SFDC (and get wet feet with the E10). Since I'm an addict of the E9 for several years, I still get the hang of the E10. Yesterday, I tried connecting my e-mails on campaign backdrop to the correct forms and landing pages and today I see that the links have disappeared. I also noticed that I can not connect two emails 'steps' in a form and a landing page, even if the emails from the links in the same form and the landing page. The system made me create duplicates on the canvas of the campaign. Anyone can shed light on what I'm doing wrong? Why the links disappear and I should have duplicates of the form and the landing page? Screen shot included below.

    Hi Jennifer,.

In October, there was a problem with the forms and landing pages.

  • You see landing page views and presentations in the form of a link within the ADC?

I created the business conduct contained in E10 which includes a link to an Eloqua landing page containing a form Eloqua. The ADC is an Eloqua email. When I got the email with the CDA on the canvas of the campaign, it is not "related" to the landing page and the form as would do an e-mail containing a link normally. Is there a way to "bind" the ADC to the landing page and the shape on the canvas of the campaign, or Earn pageviews and remittances form since the show of CDA upward on the e-mail activity in Insight?

If you add the LP to the campaign from the mouth on the left side (and then click to extract the same form element), will be associated with the campaign for the statement of purposes even without the link of the email be rendered on the screen.

  • Transfer data from the landing page visitors in eloqua

    Hello

I want to transfer data of eloqua landing page visitors. Then please explain to me the process for this.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Manish,

Looks like you need to use the API to import this data to Eloqua.

You can use the API in BULK

    http://topliners.Eloqua.com/docs/doc-3031

    You can also use REST

    https://github.com/fredsakr/Eloqua-samples/BLOB/master/customObjectData-helper/CustomObjectDataSample/CustomObjectDataHelper.cs

There are also other messages, you'd find on Topliners dealing with CDO for importing data by using APIs.

    Thank you

  • How can I report on shipments of landing page form?

I have the same shape on 5 landing pages, is there a way to run a report on all applications to date and include "landing page" as an attribute?

I found a solution for moving forward-(1) I created a hidden field on the form and baptized "Landing Page", (2) the 'Population form cloud App' added to each destination page and (3) the cloud application configuration, I put the 'Landing Page' field as a static value, the name for this specific landing page.

Now I can just click 'view presentation given' form, or run a report for submission of form in insight to filter by date of submission.

  • Hidden form fields - Landing Page Data Capture

I'm trying to use 1 generic form on all landing pages we create for Webinar sign.  in order for me to pass the correct form by webinar data via the form of treatment to the module of the event concerned, I need to have a hidden field that contains the identifier of unique landing page.  What would it be?  If that's the name of the destination page, then what is the real call tag and how that I insert in the hidden field?

the objective here is to have: 1 generic form used in webinar multiple landing pages that transmits data through several modules of the discipline concerned for each webinar.  See below for a brief scheme.

    Thank you!

    DOM

Quick question - is the landing page for each webinar on a canvas of separate campaign? If so, you can use the URL that contains the elqcampaignid to delimit the module in which Webinar to send it to. You simply need to add as a hidden field on the form, and then add the code to extract the value of the URL. You can find instructions and the code here: How to capture Sources referring to the Landing Pages and forms using query strings

If they are not on separate canvases, you can use the same method as above, but it would just come with your own query string parameter to add to the url. Example: http://www.url.com?webinar=A

In the example above, you just have to then a hidden form field "webinar" and update the code to reflect this hidden field. The key he ensure that's connecting to these landing pages then have this added query string.
