Email blackBerry Z10 Yahoo.ca account information disappears or are not recognized

From 3-4 days, the Z10, the password E-mail Yahoo.ca account has disappeared from the settings, account information and had to be entered again every day. The error says the connection information had changed or is incorrect, but nothing had changed at my end.

I tried to delete the account and adding it back to the device.

Today, I can not add the Yahoo account at all on the Z10. The error message indicates where the account cannot be added. Please try again later.

This problem exists even after the operating system upgraded to 10.2.0.1791

I discovered that Yahoo had changed the password requirements, and which was probably the cause of the problem.

(I wish that the error had been more accurate if I knew that was the question earlier).

    Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

    Recovery methods:
     
    If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.
     
    To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.
     
    Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
     
    In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.
     
    Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.
     
    Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.
     
    First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.
     
    If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.
     
    If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
     
    If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

    A general warning to help avoid this in the future:
     
    Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.
     
    Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.     I'm trying to set up my e-mail account on a Z10 using Exchange ActiveSync. Setting up the same account on a Samsung Galaxy S3 works perfectly well.

    When I use the normal installation procedure, I enter my e-mail address and password and get back this:

    Expected, delimiter: line 1 122 (122 char) column

    If I pass by "Advanced", the error message is the same, except for the number 194 instead of 122.

    The account in question is an Office 365 E3, and I would avoid using BBCS (if it works even with OS 10 devices; there are conflicting reports on the net).

    I asked the carrier, I got the phone, and they said they couldn't help because it wasn't their e-mail account. I asked Microsoft and they told me they couldn't help because it was a problem of BlackBerry. I asked BlackBerry, and they have not yet responded.

    Can anyone help?

    (By the way, why is there an error message from a JSON reader in the standard library of Python concerned with creating a Exchange account? Because that's when the message comes. Microsoft is not known for their enthusiastic embrace of JSON, they love with XML).

    Problem solved. I consider the problem with security and limit myself to the waves of suggestions, but since that alone would suffice to guess the problem, why bother?

    The error occurred because my password contained double a quotation mark character. Somewhere in the account of the Z10 configuration procedure, something assembles a JSON structure, among other things, the password entered by the user. This password is placed in a quoted string, but the quotes inside it are not escaped. When the structure is passed to the next step, it is not parsed, and the error occurs.

    I wonder why I seem to be the first user to have this problem.

    TL; Dr: have no quote characters in your password.

    Welcome to the forums.

    The only thing I can suggest is to do the wipe and then not restore the data, I realize that means that other applications are not restored either.

    However, as I know there no other way to remove the data from bedside apps.

    Here's what I'd do.

    First of all, check the settings on the device. Go to the hub, tap the icon of three points down right, select settings, select display and Actions and look at the setting for delete on. Make sure that it is set to Hub and the server.

    In addition, to return to the settings, select accounts, then Yahoo. Tap the pencil down to the Center. Scroll down and look at the synchronization interval. If it is set to manual, you can change it to something like an hour, or anything that is reasonable for you.

    Then do tests. When you delete an email on the device, tap the lower right three icons and select Refresh. Then log in on Yahoo email on a computer with a desktop browser. If you have only the device, connect to Yahoo email on Yahoo mobile site using the BlackBerry browser. I recommend only using a desktop browser for ease of use for this task.

    When you use a browser to access Yahoo mail, check the box of reception and deleted folder items to see where the email. If all goes well, of course, can be found in the deleted folder.

    If the deleted email is still in the Inbox, wait a few moments and refresh the browser to see if the email has been moved to the deleted items folder. Wait for the duration of the synchronization interval setting and a little more.

    If email deleted never sync of the device and Yahoo, delete Yahoo account on the device, restart the device and add the Yahoo account again. Test again as described above.

    Assuming that syncing email between the device and Yahoo, and you go to Yahoo email on the computer using an email client, and then study the e-mail on the computer and the test as stated above client.

    If deleted e-mail never sync is between the device and the client, so I live with it or use another e-mail service that syncs with reliability, such as Microsoft Outlook.com.
