Help. cannot see pictures sent to me. red x in the upper-left corner of the box

I am using Windows 7 now. I don't remember at the steps of Vista and Windows Mail ECACT.

It goes something like this...

Open Windows Mail > tools > Options > search for security option > if you find...

Uncheck "do not allow open... or saving of attachments.
Uncheck "block images and other external content in HTML E-mail.
Click OK when finished.

This article is quite old: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/191946 but if you search for *.wab which will give you the address book, and it is probably corrupted.  You can click on it and check whether it is open or not.  If not, then look for * ~ * and who will be the backup of the address book.  Try to rename to give it a file extension wab and if it opens when you click it, and then replace the bad with it.  Otherwise, remove the old one and see if that fixes it.  You might be best by clicking file | Identities and setting a new identity and then see if it works fine.  If Yes, then you can import the old identity.

Transfer pictures from email received to the windows photo gallery

    Assuming you are using Vista...
Windows Photo Gallery is just an 'intermediate '. Real images are stored in a folder. Usually, it is in the pictures folder.
Click the Start button > right side, click on the photos.

Now, the pictures that you received in the mail came as attachments?
If so, and assuming you are using Windows mail...
Right-click on the "trombone" (attachment) > click on save attachments > place you in the folder of your choice (the destination where the photos will be saved in) > click Save.

Photos are now saved in the folder you selected. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email received not the BB

I got my BB for several months and it worked fine. But now I find that emails received in my Inbox and are not received by the BB (this is a story set up under BIS). As far as I know that I have not changed any settings.

    Follow these tips:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

    2. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart

    If still nothing...

On a personal account of BIS, email and messages do not reconcile.

  • We must save some emails received by Hotmail. Is their way of doing with them retaining indefinitely as e-mail?

    Original title: Hotmail email

We must save some emails received by Hotmail. Is their way of doing with them retaining indefinitely as e-mail? We get a lot of good articles to friends, that we want to keep for future reference. We appreciate any ideas that others may have. This e-mail message set up came with our computer that uses widows 8 operating system on a 64-bit desktop computer manufactured by HP. Thank you for any help you all can provide. Fred and Joan.

I beg of you.  Another tip.  If you use Hotmail from the Web site (which has been renamed Outlook.com), you can use the Archive button on the toolbar at the top.  The first time you use it, it will ask you which folder you want to move the messages archived at.  It should not be called "Archive".

  • Fake email received? Rescue e-mail address Apple ID

I received an email from the so-called [email protected]. He claims that I recently added my address to e-mail from Apple as a conference entitled "rescue e-mail address for...» [my] AppleID. "I don't have such a thing. Of course the one who sent the e-mail knows my apple e-mail address. Sounds like a scam to me. I did not answer. Can anyone provide information on who is doing what in regards to this email? I've attached a screenshot of the email. If I do nothing else, at least I'll have tipped him off about the PERP here. Do you have any advice for me on any action, I have to take? I posted in the community of MacBook Pro because the list of communities given did not address my question. If you can make this available to a better audience post, then do it.

  • Some emails received come with attachments that are just icons such as facebook or company logo. How to stop these please?

E-mail messages can have attachments (such as documents) that I don't want to receive. But there are also a lot of attachments that seem to be icons of logo. Include specific company logo, facebook, twitter etc. I'm afraid that they add to the demand for storage and will also effect the speed of loading of emails. I would like to stop the logos / icons but still receive the documents that the sender wants me to have. If you can hep do me this, I would be happy.
    Thank you.
Please keep in mind, I'm not very tech savvy.

The icons have been added as part of the e-mail. You cannot change what someone else puts in their e-mail.

If you already have the setting for not showing remote content then you should not see the icons in the content of the e-mail, but you will see empty boxes with a broken link icon, where the icons were positioned.
This has no effect on the reading of the attachments.

You can use one of the methods is to read these messages using plain text instead of HTML.

    • View > Message body as > plain text

If you mean there several icons are added as attachments - no content - more the actual document you want to read.
Do not use the option "Open" or "Save all" for very obvious reasons.
Instead, right-click on the attached document you want to read and select 'Open' or ' Save as '.

All attachments can be removed or detached.
If you want to keep the email, but do not keep the attachments, you can right click on an attachment and select 'delete '.

If you want to keep the email and attachments, but not an attachment with email because it uses a lot of space, you can right-click on a file and select "unpin". This will allow you to save the document to another location outside of Thunderbird attachment.
In its place will be a link, so you can still use the "attachment" link to open the document, but because he is no longer with the email, it will reduce the size of the email and to provide more space in the folder.

If you want to keep the attachment, but not the e-mail, do as shown above to "detach" and save the document, and then delete the email.

  • No Confirmation email received

I use FF36 and try to create the new sync account. I use a valid e-mail account that works. I asked an e-mail confirmation several times over the past two days so I can validate the account. Nothing. I've added mozilla as being approved. I checked all the trash, junk and spam files. Email not misplaced, simply not received. I even disabled zonealarm for a while see if firewall can block. Still no email from Mozilla.

I was surprised to get an email that allows me to set up this account. I can't imagine why it worked but email Sync won't get through.

    SUCCESS!

On 16/03/2015, I received an update of firefox for android. On a hunch, I decided to try to set up a new sync account. I used the same shape, entered the same information and followed all the directions, as I had done several times before. However, this time a verification e-mail appeared magically in my mail box! I clicked on the attached link and my account was immediately checked.

I have no idea what blocked the verification message being sent or received first place and no idea of what was in the update that fixes the problem.

The only help I can offer to anyone who may have a similar problem is: "Try again".

Not all of my emails on my iPhone 6, but I've accepted that, as I mainly use my computer to read (and respond to) my emails.  However, I realize that, in the last two days, I received a few emails on my iPhone only, the same mails that weren't on my computer.  What should I do to receive all my emails on both devices? I don't have time to check both devices for new messages!

  • Is it possible to add a note to an email received in mail?

Is it possible to add a note to an email of reception received in the mail? I started using receipts from suppliers when it is possible to eliminate the clutter of waste and cover paper. Good number of receipts list not exactly what was purchased instead of the registration, "operation manual". I would like to be able to add notes as, "except for the guarantee" or "cleats of baseball" to the email. Unfortunately most of the recipes do not come as an attachment in the email, if they scored up to work.

In general, you can't because then you plague the record - you are indeed back and change history.  Bad practice.

It started just yeaterday, everything has been fine so far

    Thanks much for any help!

    Glad you solved it.

It can be compacted at this place. There is an option to compact the database on shutdown after X works.

If you keep WinMail open most of the time and let the computer sleep, place during about 10 tracks. If you open and close WinMail daily, place during about 75 ~ 100 races. When you close WinMail and have reached the setting chosen it will inspire you to compact. It is enough to click OK and don't do anything until it's done. It should take only a few seconds if you do this regularly as stated above.
