• Captivate 5 opening of another project - link is incorrect

  I have a Captivate 5 project that uses a "main project" to open various 'under' projects.  I have published all projects such as exe (I also tried editing swf and htm to see if the problem is specific to the .exe but I have this problem with both methods), all projects are accessed using a click box, which, if successful, will open another project.  All my sub projects opens correctly except one.  When you click on this project, it shows an error that displays the path to the .htm file only?  I find it weird because I tried only editing like .exe, is therefore to associate without file .htm (or I do not understand how it works?).  Here's the funny part, the path to the nonexistent .htm file is missing a return back as you can see below.

  

  I tried to recreate the click box, but it does not work.  I copied another box of click of work who open a different project.  The click box works until I have change the project that it points to and then I get the same error.

  Another thing, when I go to link the project from the drop-down list displays several projects with the same name.

  

  even if I have only one instance of the project in my folder by default.  I tried to empty the cache to see if that get rid of duplicates, but it did not work.  I also installed captivate on another computer, copied over my project files, deleted the click box and recreated and received the same error message.  He pointed to the new location on the new computer, but lacked a "------" makes the link not valid.

  I published my computers not assigned as swf and htm project and copied to the location specified in the error, but it does not work.

  Any ideas?  I ran out of things to try.

  Captivate the default behavior is to set up an absolute connection to the target file, not a relative link, which is what you will need to be if ever you want to migrate your content to another location, for example a web server.

  If you can see that the URL is incorrect, change it. You must manually edit the link that Captivate automatically creates for you and it becomes a relative link that points to the target HTM file.

  If you don't know how to build links, do some googling on the subject.  It's something everyone who works with web content needs to know how to do.

  I am facing a problem of "Link error - Undefined simbol project" with TreeView, TreeView_GetCheckState() and TreeView_GetCheckState() macros that I use in my project. When I compiled in 2009 it worked, but now that I have compiled for an update later in 2010, it does not work.

  These macros are supposed to be set in ComCtl32.lib. I think that since this is a WINAPI it is automatically included in the project, but I have this compilation error. I have included in my project by hand and I can see it now in my project tree, but the same error persists. I have the #include commctrl.h.

  Does anyone know what I am doing wrong that my project does not have these features?

  I discovered that this macros are defined in CommCtrl.h and they are dependent on the _WIN32_IE, so I wrote in the /D_WIN32_IE of compiler options sets = 0 x 0500 and now the compiler take these macros into account and, therefore, the problem disappeared. For some reason, the value of _WIN32_IE isn't the same thing in my CVI2009 and CVI2010 compiler...

• The copy feature does not work.

  I have the latest version of Windows mobile 10 build 14393.189. And the latest version of Acrobat 16.0 build 146647.

  I test this feature on file link https://stlab.Adobe.com/wiki/images/d/D3/test.PDF . As a result, copy works in the edge browser, but not in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

• My copy of RH7 went crazy...

  Hi all-
  I had been using a trial version of RH7, and it worked FINE. I bought a license, then when I entered my new serial number, he began to behave badly. Two things I found to date are the following:
  
  (1) A newly created project will not open. In RH7, I created a new HTML help project. I saw the status messages as new files have been generated, but when he got to the point of actually opening the project, Hung RH7. The title bar went "Not responding" and I had to kill the program. All files seem to have been created. Subsequent attempts to open this project repeat this hanging of behavior i.e. HR and will does not.
  
  However... While in trial mode (before I got my serial number), create a new project worked perfectly. Also, after you have entered the serial number, I went back to this same project to continue to work, and it opens fine. The problem area seems to be only a newly created project after entering a serial number cannot open.

  I tried several times, with different images and different themes. You can manually enter the IMG tag very well in the HTML code. Also, if the image has already been used elsewhere in the draft, I can successfully select the nav tree "Images in project files. What seems to be broken is to select an image from the Browse button next to the field of Image name at the top of the dialog box.
  
  Issues related to the:
  These issues have been seen by someone else, in a new copy of RH7 or a trial version that got a serial number?
  I checked for patches; Nothing found.
  I have not yet tried to uninstall, and then reinstall the download file I had with my purchase (purchase of the company got a new copy of the software) - but will do so after checking the answers here.
  My PC has Windows XP SP2, if that matters.

  Today received a follow-up message from Adobe on my support case:
  "In setting up projects, we always recommend that you modify the project locally, unless you are using Version control software. It's the best practice because there are known problems when editing projects from a mapped drive.
  About the #Select Image lead # dialog box, I was able to reproduce the problem on my end... I checked in the application and it allows up to 65 characters for the file name.
  You mentioned in your last email that you could not create a new project by using the new version. If this is the problem and it happens in all the projects you are trying to open, then you must reinstall RoboHelp by following the steps I sent last time. »

  While install us the software locally (on our own desktop computers) store projects on a common server. We have been using RoboHelp since almost day 1 (the first version we ever had was WinHelp Office95 of BS), have had pretty much every update since (except 1, I think), got the training along the way of some of the best (Darling Zubak, Joe Welinske) - and honestly it is the first time I have encountered problems with a drive mapped or was advised not to have projects on a server.

  Time to change I guess, our software and our practices. I'll roll with it...

  I try to run the project for excelreportdemo in CVI2010 on windows 7, 64-bit operating system. I have the Excel2013 installed as well. I chose the build configuration release or debug for 32 bits of the system in order to be compatible to the test for the production platform.

  However, I get errors in link project 12 as follows:

  I get it worked after that I removed the excelreport.fp in the Menu library customize. The excelreport.fp has been added to the Menu library customize to my other work on the project, which, but had similar problems. It seems CVI is getting better and better, so that you don't need extras like it was before. Do not add reduntant libs.

  Hello-

  The Random function is defined in the programmers tool box.  "You need to add toolbox.fp (\toolslib\toolbox\toolbox.fp) to your project, or add it to your list of libraries loaded automatically thanks to the Library" customize the menu.

  Hi Tony,.

  such mistakes can be seen when a required library is not included in the project. In your case, you must add to the project the IniFile instrument (located in the \toolslib\toolbox folder). You can add it to the project as an instrument (Instrument menu > Load) or as a library (library menu > customize and add the corresponding library to the project, then restart CVI). In the second case, you will have this instrument always available for your projects without the need to install it in all of them.

  Is the link reference located in project settings to publish the Adobe must match the id of Group of your app?

  Link reference and Bundle ID are 2 very different things... the referral link is defined in the project settings and is used as the URLScheme. This allows you to open the app to help ' link reference: / /... "a hyperlink or similar. Apple signing certificates must match the BundleID item. As a general rule, you will have a file unique mobile Configuration for each application that you manage.

  For your specific problem, I think that you must make sure that the mobile provision file contains the same element bundleID (or app ID) as IPA you created.

  You can add a hyperlink field in the document before sending it to the signature from preview page and drag and drop the field by specifying the link inside. This feature is available in Enterprise going.

  Currently I am working on a project where I've cropped an image in Photoshop and would like to make it an active link that once clicked on the willingness to open up the whole image in a display style lightbox.

  Is this possible in Adobe Muse?

  I tried to find a solution to this problem and have met with sites such as: click on Zoom for Photos: Add the Lightbox - training center DWUser.com effect

  However this will load only to the top of the image in the window, not a different version of the image.

  The main reason for an introduction to jQuery style is that it is for my Photoshop and photography portfolio and would like to get a nice looking for the part of the screen, rather than clicking on an image and another tab loading.

  If it is possible, or if anyone has any other solutions / suggest I'd be very happy, got the call.

  Hi Chris,

  Display lightbox in the Widgets Library > Compositions section is the widget for you.

  It gives you the opportunity to individually set the content of the (miniature) trigger and target (lightbox image) rather than to use the scale to the bottom of the image version target as vignette.

  I searched everywhere for an answer to this, but I have not found anything. What I want to do is very simple: click on a link in the links palette and get the name of the file that I chose. Mind you, this is to ONLY select the link in the links palette, do not select the chart in the document. I know I can click with the right button on the link and choose copy of information, but this initial name copy is part of a larger script and I'm working. And I can get the name of the file by clicking on the graphic on the document. But I can't figure out how to realize that I clicked on something that in the links by InDesign palette. Is there a way to do this? Thank you.

  The selection in the links Panel is not available to scripts so that you can not do this.

• Project Manager copy files and copy to the new location error

  I have been using Premiere Pro 6 and CC now for a year now.

  I can't solve a problem is a problem of project management.

  I can create a new project complied every time, but I can't collect files and copy it to the new location?

  It fails every time with the message "an unknown error has occurred during the operation of project manager, please save your project and try again.

  I must have tried on more than 50 projects and it never worked.

  Disable the preview files and standardized audio files.

  See if that will do the trick.
