    Asim,

    Looks like this isn't a problem of configuration or installation, since the report works for other records. So, have you tried to look at this record and find out why the report does not treat? Compare the values of this record and try to find the difference between it and other documents.

  • My new ViewSonic LED displays 'signal' when it is plugged

    I recently bought a ViewSonic LED monitor from amazon (option to come back, would rather try to fix first) and it is supposed to be the second monitor. I have my operating system and went to plug the new viewsonic, I now have almost identical 2, the first is an older version, and he gets that "No Signal" then goes to the mode 'sleep'.

    I thought at first maybe its my cables, so I tried the DVI and VGA, it came with and none worked. Then I thought well okay maybe it's of monitor cables, so I disconnected work currently and only used the DVI giving me a display on the current screen. This solution does not work, and I did the same thing with the VGA to see if it would work on the old monitor, which it did, so I tried on the new monitor and without success.

    After that idea, I decided to look at the display settings and when it's plugged the computer recognizes a second screen, but when I select the '2' or second monitor in the settings it greys the option to select it as the main display. Any option to display, I chose it still shows nothing on the new monitor, nor the premiera she acts as if there is more space for work (the mouse let not the current monitor even if I apply the changes. I went to the display settings after I realized that wake up the monitor and look for a signal when I was in him in reconnecting with the DVI or VGA, but it's just never to find the signal.

    My last attempt to see what is going on on what was going on with the monitor has been plugging the same VGA cable that I have been using the monitor in my laptop... BOOM he got the signal, so I said OK well well it must be good. I used the same computer port that gives me a signal on the old monitor and connected to the screen with the same cable that I used with the laptop and nothing. No signal... I'm lost, the only thing I know that I have not tried yet is a HDMI which is my next step but I'm completely lost as to how 1 viewsonic can receive a signal and the new cannot but plug it into a computer laptop and we're ready to go.

    Please help, I'm willing to try all that, I'll send amazon rear t and try a new, but since it turn on with the laptop (not where I want to use it) I thought I could do something wrong.

    Thanks for the input, Niranjan, I appreciate the help and time.

    Just to let you know, I was about to try this, the arrival of my display to VGA Converter, shaped port, it was my last ditch to plug and play. Of course the screen broke on.

    Thanks again for the advice and taking time out of your day to help.

    Have a great weekend.

    My laptop Satellite L650-1GZ not illuminate. The power supply light is OK. I tried with 2 different Chargers.

    When I press the power button of the laptop before flashing together 1 time every 4 seconds or more, but the laptop does not light.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

    I think it is s hardware problem.
    The question is: as parts is defective?
    In my opinion, you should start with modules of memory RAM.
    Try to power the unit using a module in each slot
    Now that if it can help but it s worth a try.,.

  • After migration from Solaris to Linux reports do not work properly

    Oracle e-Business 11.5.10.2 - seeds pdf reports

    Some do not run giving error:

    EMSG: led by Signal 11

    Others work but are formatted incorrectly.

    Background:

    Migrated from solaris to linux. -11.2.0.4 database.  Upgrade from Solaris to dev 6i group patch 28 - everything works.

    On linux, install techstack then switch to dev 6i patchset28 also.

    I checked the support and apply a hotfix that was a possible fix-

    Bugs: 5232832 - APPS6: BLANKS INSERTED IN the CHARACTER MODE OUTPUT

    subsequently found out that it's just for the report of the bitmap.

    Check all the notes I've found, but nothing seems to apply.

    My character set is the same on Solaris and Linux-

    US7ASCII NLS_CHARACTERSET

    NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET AL16UTF16

    Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

    11 signal problem is resolved as follows:

    The reporting engine, on the Linux server upgraded, is not able to parse an sql validation using a table via dblink only at a specific location in the report. There are several other places in the report where it is able to analyze the same sql, it is so inconsistent and there is no error message relevant to this effect. The solution has been applied through rewriting of these validations to validate within the EBS itself and therefore, the functionality remains unchanged.

    Formatting problem was solved by re copy the rdf from the source in binary mode.  Something must have happened to the file to archive original, OR a nobody messed with the report on the target of unknown to me!

    Also, I set up printing blocks and drivers for the system and styles, so maybe it was a combination of the two actions.

    Thank you for all your help.

  • What this means on Satellite Pro: Orange power LED - 7 1 short long

    Anyone know what the above means? I've seen other posts where these variations of the LED turn signals have been decoded to something, any help appreciated.

    If the DC LED blinking it means that there is an error.
    The power supply microcontroller detects that a DC IN lamp error sends a blink code.
    You can decode it with this procedure.
    The short means 0 and a long time means 1.

    Error code starts with LSB (least significant bit)
    0000 0001-> 1000 0000-> 80 H (hex) (hope its right)

    Unfortunately, it was not possible to know what hex code refers to 80 s error on this unit.
    I think you should ask the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner for help.

  • (Redirected) Error POST LED codes laptop Studio XPS 1647

    (I posted this on the forum of portable equipment, but it has been a few days so far that there is no help yet).

    Symptom:

    Studio XPS 1647 computer laptop cannot start after POST and pasted to the Dell screen with about 80 percent progress bar. After that now the FN key and press the power button to start ePSA, all three volumes would be flashes two times, immediately followed by the MUTE LED flashing layout and then jump, followed by up and down LEDs + turn signals and the volume upward the LED switches off the coast and then just the Volume Down LED flashing continuously. The fan is switched on immediately after the PSA starts at slow speed, and then it runs faster after a few seconds with the noises.

    My Studio XPS 1647 has recently had overheating problems, and sometimes they would cause BSOD. A reboot after BSOD shows always broke the screen images. The BSOD has always come with error bcode 116: it's apparently related video card. Last weekend so I opened the case, removed the radiator and fan. The event of heat sink was completely blocked with a thick layer of dust, so it is no wonder the overheating. I have cleaned the vent system to the radiator and fan, cleaned the top of the processor and the upper part of the GPU chip, the shape of base paste heat and everything back together. After that, the machine could not go to the Dell splash screen at startup.   I already checked the discussions and followed suggestions on holding down the power button to remove static, the reinstallation of the memory card, etc., but they are of no use.

    The following video shows the locking POST LED codes:

  • HP Pavilion dv7t-6100: switch to ATI RADEON video card. Hang, reboot, and white screen.

    Hello.

    I was using my laptop as usual, and like many other times I have tried to swich for High Performance video card.  At this time, Windows crashes; So I had to press the power button a few seconds until the computer turns off.

    Then, when I turned it on:

    -Anything on the screen (on the screen of the computer laptop and external monitor)

    -Cannot access BIOS

    -No boot sequence (operating system does not)

    -Led is ON (without LEDs + turn signals)

    -Keyboard unresponsive (caps lock led for instance does not change when I press on it)

    I tried several suggestions "base" that I found on the Internet with no luck:

    -Unplug the power cable, remove the battery

    -Remove the battery from the BIOS, RAM, HARD drive

    -Press the on switch / off 60 seconds

    So I guess something is dead here.  Could it be that the RADEON card no longer works?

    When the computer is turned on, what card uses by default?

    Is it possible (not through BIOS, not through OS) to specify to use the integrated graphics card Intel? Removing the RADEON card (is that even possible)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @fedecris,

    Thank you for the update. Q0F7E4-5R7894-MFH14K-403 P 03 error code indicates a failure of the memory module. Please see the guide to maintenance and maintenance for recommended replacements. (the link is in my post above) Note Chapter 3, page 31, paragraph 23.

  • Satellite A100-283 - does not start every time so I've created workaround

    Hey guys,.

    I have a problem with my A100-283. A few weeks ago the laptop just hung and I stopped it the hard way by removing just the battery (I know, bad idea, shouldn't have done...)

    After that it wouldn't start. Or through battery with the adapter is plugged. There was no more noise fan, or beep or anything like that, just a few LEDs + turn signals for a fraction of a second (capslock + numlock and some of the front LEDs).

    The next day I tried again - and it booted up fine, everything seemed to work again. But off it again the same problem appeared.
    Now there is no more guarantee on the A100, so I disassembled and welded in a new BIOS battery because I thought that this could be the problem.
    After reassembling, the problem remains.

    * But now I found a 'solution' to get the boot the laptop upward once again, *.
    It is just that it's really annoying to have to do this every time you start. Sometimes it always starts in the usual way, I think that it always depended on time, it has been turned off. The book has been extinguished, more lucky to start normally.

    But back to the workaround. I press the power button, the LEDs blink in no time. I continue to press the button, and after 5 seconds or more, the LEDs blink once (I think that the laptop lights somehow without any fan noise or anything, and if I continue to press on, it stops again). After that, I always do it by pressing the button for 10 seconds. Subsequently, I release her and push it again and it will start up just as it should. This method works 10 out of 10 times.

    Now, someone please tell me, is it possible to run the normal way?
    An update of the BIOS might help? My BIOS version is 2.00.

    Please do not come upwards with the support from Toshiba, as I already don't said, no guarantee, then it would probably be cheaper to buy just one more...

    Hope someone has an idea.

    > More book was off, more a chance to start normally
    Perhaps this problem could be related to overheating I mean if the temperature of parts would be more raised then usual, then such question could appear

    Unfortunately, but it's the only plausible explanation for me

    The issue could also well be linked to the motherboard failure, everything is possible

    But I see you don't want to hear about ASP and laptop technicians. Well in this case, you will have to diagnose the failure yourself

    Good luck

  • Simultaneous to the AO and HAVE with the acquisition of data NOR USB 6001/MATLAB Toolbox

    I am very new to data acquisition and bought a NI USB 6001 to start to learn. Because I can get free MATLAB through my University, I use Matlab data acquisition Toolkit as the data acquisition software.

    My problem is that I get the following error message when I try to generate an AO (an LED voltage) signal and measure a signal I (voltage of a battery of 9V) simultaneously.

    ATTENTION: This change is caused in the dump output data queue.  Use queueOutputData for the queue data before the start of the object.
    Hardware does not support the specified connection. Check the user manual of the device for the valid device routes and pinout.

    However to measure IA or by generating the AO each by themselves works perfectly well.

    My Matlab script looks like this:

    daq.getDevices;

    s = DAQ.createSession ('or');

    s.Rate = 1000;

    s.DurationInSeconds = 10;

    addAnalogInputChannel (s, 'Dev1', 'ai0', 'Voltage');

    addAnalogOutputChannel (s, 'Dev1', 'ao0', 'Voltage');

    aoVoltage = 1.8 + 0.1 * sin (linspace (0, 2 * pi, 10000))';

    queueOutputData (s, aoVoltage);

    s

    startBackground (s);

    Note that adding the channels HAVE and AO at the session also works, however I get the error mentioned at the start of the session. This is a limitation of my data acquisition hardware (I don't see something like that mentioned in the manual) or do I have to modify the script?

    The pins connected for the LED are AO0 (+) and AO GND (-).

    The pins connected to the battery are AI0 (+) and (-) AI4. (The problem is still there if I use the reference to the ground for AI)

    6001 cannot make simultaneous tasks.  Very standard limitation of the low-end hardware... just don't have on board computing resources to handle such things.  Even the 621 x boards have only limited multitasking abilities.

    Can intensify to a high range data acquisition ($$$) or buy a 2nd a low end and synchronize tasks in software (not as precise calendar).  I've done two approaches, one is "best" really depends on demand... If low-cost or high-performance is a priority.

  • Erratic counting quadrature encoder

    Hello

    I try to use LabVIEW 9.0 and an acquisition of data USB-6212 for measuring angular displacement of rotating quadrature encoder (digital model we E2) attached to a linear actuator based on the stepper motors.

    With the help of the VI linked to below and the default PFI pin on the acquisition of data, I can get the Angle of the VI to change, but with two issues indicator.

    http://forums.NI.com/attachments/NI/170/144774/1/QuadratureEncoderM-series.VI

    1. the only way I can assure you that the Angle indicator remains at a constant value with the VI running and the stepper motor moves do not is to turn off the power to the encoder.  In other words, when the 5V power is provided to the encoder, the Angle indicator sometimes remains constant at a certain value and sometimes increases, even if the motor step does not move.  I added a waveform table that displays the Angle to see more easy output.

    2. with the engine not to not pass any if she moves hourly or counterclockwise, the angle indicator only increases (counting).  Changing the direction of engine displacement does not decrease the angle.

    I checked the DAQ pins I use: PFI 3, Z = A = B = 11 PFI with ctr and PFI 4 1.  I tried both ctr0 and ctr1 with the same results.  I used a multimeter to check the outputs a, B and Z on the encoder to output with the motor step-by-step to displacements of various populations, and I'm getting ~ + 5V sometimes and ~ 0V sometimes telling me that the encoder, which is new, seems to move from high to low.

    This sounds like the kind of behavior that may be caused by noise in signals?  If so, who should not have something to do with the Angle only, correct?  To get the Angle to reduce, should I change something in VI?

    I thank you very much for any assistance, you can give.

    Hi Mike,.

    From what you describe, I feel the symptom of the meter backwards never is a side effect of the issue where the meter continuously counts up while in not moving.  This really looks like a noise problem, and there are a few small but noticeable spikes in your graphics HAVE you provided.  Basically, as long the (Source) Signal led B Signal (to THE), then the meter progressive count.  This is for X 1 coding, which I assume that you are using.  Look here Figure 5, in virtue of the X 1 section for how this encoding reads your signals of encoding:

    Your connections you describe are correct, so it'll be a matter of getting rid of the problem where the meter is incremented on its own which I believe will solve your other problems.  Take a look at these links to see if adding filters on the internal counter inputs to the card allows the measurement: Activate the digital M series filtering  allowing digital filters for TIO Debounce NOR-DAQmx devices
