• Encrypt the connection to the SQL Server

  I have a new installation of OpenManage Essentials 2.1 and have a quick question. Our database of MOE is hosted on a remote SQL Server cluster. Is it possible to configure the database connection to use encryption/SSL when connecting to the cluster? We need it for compliance with our security policy, but unfortunately the installation that the user interface does not expose this option.

  If not is it possible to manually change the connection string?

  Note that this is in that concerning the encryption of the SQL Server connection between HOME servers and database, not HTTPS.

  OME encrypts all sensitive information before it is transferred to SQL Server.

  Also, the connection to SQL Server used by OME information is encrypted and there is no option for a user to change this.

  a whole new Tecra A10 with buildin Intel 5100 WiFi fails to connect to the Wlan router, using the pre-installled Vista Business 32-bit. Vista has always said: wrong password.

  Yes, Wifi hardware is enabled, of course. And Tecra WiFi OK MAC is stored in the config of the router. Also the WiFi settings were correct (wpa2-psk aes), corresponding to the Wlan router.   How can I correct this Wifi 5100 connect problem and use encryption WPA2-psk on Tecra A10 and WiFi 5100 with Vista? If this is not possible, I have to return this laptop and get another model with a working Wifi / Wlan Hardware.

  It is really strange that you can use any of the WIFI ciphers available.
  Have you tried to reboot your router?

  If you can see the Wlan network then it means that the WiFi adapter driver is correctly installed and the problem is between the router configuration problems WiFi and wireless network card.

  ISPS don't like people using their networks to forward mail from other networks.  The symptoms you describe are usually the result of not properly is authenticating with the outgoing server or the use of a non encrypted SMTP connection (that is, port 25 instead of 587 or 465 or whatever your email port provider requires for encryption).

  ColdFusion does not yet support encrypted datasource connection, so this is in my view, a reason why you get the error message.
