Engraving of a Zoom H2 CD in WAV format?

I'm lost - I made the USB connect to your computer the H2-I can read the files - with windows media - through the computer player.  I burned a CD - R

I can play the CD I did but only in the computer... How to make a CD that can be listened to in the car without having to learn a new editor - I'm new to recording with the zoom and the player.  This must be a simple answer - I can't find the same question anywhere!  Thank you / Jerry

  • Impossible to rip the CD using WMP 11 in WAV format. Ripping starts but the CD eject and no error message.

I use Vista and Windows Media Player 11.  I'm trying to rip a CD in WAV format.  I set the extraction options to create the WAV file and write the wav file in the c:\temp\wav folder.  I want to compare the file size and sound quality.  When I insert the CD, the extraction process seems to start (I mean start to turn up), but it stops and the CD is ejected after a second or two.

I won't have any trouble to create WMA Lossless files.

I also tried to use Windows 7 and WMP with the same results.  No problem with WMA format but exact same results when you try to create the WAV.

UPDATE: I tried two different CD extraction before asking this question and got the same result for two CDs.  I just tried a different CD and was a success.

Any suggestions why some CDs and others not?

Thanks for responding.  I tried both ' activation automatic ripping ' and initiator ripping manually.  In both scenarios, I checked the "Eject CD after Ripping".  Same results.

It seems strange that the CD can be the cause of the problem, if I RIP in .wma without problem, but I can't rip in .wav.

  • Any MP3 converted to wav format in CP5

Does anyone know why when I import MP3s, Adobe® Captivate® 5 converts them to wav format? I understand that when he publishes audio, it converts them to mp3 but I think than its size, adding to overall published .swf (appx. 2 MB for project 55 slides) in its MP3-> wav-> mp3 conversion. I checked my preferences, but I see no option for this. This is really weird is also that there are 3 slides when it is not happenning, meaning mp3 remains as mp3 when they are imported. The rest of the 52 slides audio converted to wav format when I import an audio mp3.

Also, I'm looking for ways to reduce the overall file size of the .swf published with audio.

    I appreciate the help.

To my knowledge, the behavior to use the format of WAV file internally in Captivate is hard-coded in.  It is not a parameter, you can change.

  • Setting bit rate in Wav format?

Something odd came on my desk this week, my manager came to me with a request for me to look at an audio file (society for our telephone hold music) and he complies with the required parameters. I finished this task even a year ago but I don't remember how I was able to export the files meet the required parameters. I am familiar with audio, as I work with video on a daily basis, but I'll be the first to admit that ive spent a lot less time on audio and visual media, so I'm sure that many of you will know more about what I have.

Could someone guide me on how I could adjust the bitrate to a Wav file. Currently I only see sampling rate when you export a Wav in Adobe Audition CC and CC of the SOUL.

Here are the conditions: (the bitrate is the only thing that seems off to me)

    Audio Format (2).jpg

    Flow is just sampling rate x Bit depth x No.Channels of uncompressed wav PCM file. 8000 x 16 x 1 = 128000 = 128 Kbps. Then save your .wavs under 16-bit 8 kHz Mono.

  • Voice WAV format recording is unacceptable

My test recording about 1 min busy about 9 MB of space. This is unacceptable.

If the main purpose of the rocket + was voice recording, I agree with you.  Sony voice recorders last $ 40.00 to $ 300.00 depending on the feature set, you need.

The main goal of the rocket + is a multimedia player, including music files.  In addition to playing music you also get video playback, FM Radio playback and recording, book Audio support, subscription music Service support, Voice Recording and photo looks a.

Add the ability to add up to 32 GB extra memory via Micro SD card for the price of $65.00.

It's a very good deal.  It is not a question of 'will' share of Sandisk, it was a typical game for money.  For most of us, we bought a 'player' for media playback.  Registration is a nice feature that we have on the side.  That is why it is unfair to compare the "rocket" + with other devices which primary is used to record voices.

It has always been true "all-in-one" devices rarely perform each task as well as a device designed for a single application.  Try to cut a roast with a Swiss army knife.  It can be done, but a quality knife cutting will certainly do a better job.  However a carving knife is as well a work at the opening of a bottle like a Swiss army knife.

The rocket + is a Jack of all trades but master of none.  Audio playback is it is primary, and he does it with the best of them.  Family Fuze and Clip players have equal playback quality or exceeds other media players offered at 3 times the price.

How do you think that Sony would react if you nailed Sony because their recorders of the word, not to manipulate playback gapless or will not support .wma Rhapsody subscription files?

I think that you will get a similar response.

I bought players Fuze and Clip specifically for affordable quality audio playback, and for this product excels.  With a rocket 4 GB + 16 GB card and I have a 20 GB player under 100 dollars.  Please tell me where you can get a 20 GB flash drive for under a benjamin.  I doubt that you will find.

Now if only Sandisk address some of the GAL navigation and press the issues of sensitivity, I would be in heaven.

  • WAV to AAC encoder encode vrs?

I have a Zoom H4 recorder that I put to record in WAV format.  I was able to import successfully saved in my iTunes library music.  However, the settings in iTunes to import default is to use the AAC encoder.  So my WAV files have been imported using the AAC encoder.  Music plays fine in iTunes.  So, is this a problem?  I'd be better to use the WAV instead of AAC encoder?  In addition, when you record a CD of my music imported into iTunes, what encoder produces the best results for a reading with a normal CD player?

    KMF,

When you add files to iTunes, iTunes does not change their format.  So if you add WAV files, they will always be in WAV format in your iTunes library unless you do something to convert them.

Regarding which sounds better, it is a personal decision based on your own ears, preferences, hardware and listening conditions.  Most of the non-audiophile people are perfectly happy with AAC/256.

iTunes can burn an audio CD from originals in any format.

  • Export .wav Audition 3.0 session files not recognized by CD burning programs...

    Hello

I use Audition to create multitrack sessions on my laptop.  Everything works fine, no problems at all... that is, until I export my sessions completed in WAV files.  For some reason, the. WAV files are not recognized as 'valid '. WAV files in programs like EAC, Nero CD, burning etc.

The laptop that I use is a Dell XPS 1330 running Vista x 64 SP2.

Now, fortunately, I have a portable backup that is running Windows XP SP2, on which I also installed hearing.  Interestingly, these same. WAV files exported from the hearing on the Vista machine will matter not in any laptop XP of CD burning software.

So what I have to do now is copy my files of session of the hearing of my new laptop (Vista) during my old laptop (XP).  Once I have it and export the. WAV files from the XP laptop - these files are recognized by my burning software.  Curiously, the software of engraving on BOTH machines recognize the. WAV files exported from the XP machine.

  • Now, this indicates to me that there could be a problem with how hearing exports these. WAV files of sessions on a Vista x 64 system.
  • Is anyone familiar with this problem?  It's a simple configuration setting I can adjust?  Or is this a known bug?

    Thanks in advance...

My guess is that you export these 32-bit wavs instead of files audio standard 44.1/16 bit

  • is no longer able to convert wav to mp3?

You must first select MP3 as your current import format. Select the tracks you want to convert, and then use file > create a new Version > create the format to Version.

  • WAV MP3 VS INFO

new library of itunes, from scratch.  Imported on the old computer to the old library mp3 songs appear very well with all the info.  Songs imported on the last computer wav files with "replace old files" selected imported fine on the old computer, but when I look at the file in the file that it has no info attached to it.  songs are titled the same, and in the right artist, album folder tree as planned, but do not show up with the cover of the album (easy fix).  but artist and album info appear as empty when they are imported into the library

In WAV format files do not store track information internally as pretty much any other popular file format.  Search on the website Dougscripts for a script that will assign the track information parsed from the file names if that helps.

Is there a reason for not to transfer the library from your old computer, including the database library file that contains all the data track?

  • When his .wav is saved, the file, when played is extended twice the original length

    Hello!

I have a problem with recording the sound to the .wav file.

Acquires it sound .vi normally and displays on the front panel in real time. But when I save the file and listen to it, everything is slowed down twice. So if I record 10s, then I have to listen to the file for 22 s.

Any idea where I fool you?

I have attached a .jpg of the .vi file, if you need the .vi work please let me know.

    Nice day

    Hello.

In addition to the instructions of cock red, there are two things you need to check:

    1. card sampling rate 9234. A real is not the one ask you.
    See manual page 15.
"When you use the master 13,1072 MHz internal time base, the result is the data rates of.
    function of 51.2 kech. / s, 25.6 kech. / s, 17.067 kS/s and so on until 1.652 kech. / s,.
    the value of n."

So, if you ask 22050 like sampling in DAQmx sample clock frequency, the actual speed will be 25600. Given that the wav file guess 22050 (see point 2), you will have an 11.7 s to a real signal for 10 seconds.

    2. in 'wav open file.vi', you must meet the sound format that wil be registered as heading in the wav file to retrieve more.
Default value is 22050, 2 16-bit channels. This means that your recording 50000-asked was really a 51200
and recorded as it was 22050.

Wav format must be exact get the signal as it is. (sampling rate real, 1-channel, 16-bit in your case).

In this forum, there are a lot of info on wav files.

    Best regards.

  • How to record a signal all on *.wav

I am trying to record a *.wav sound generated by the sinus function. I cannot record the signal of all, I can only get 1 second sound - I'm kind new to this and I have so I am struggling to get this to work.

Due to the writing to the wav format does not allow to add (I guess I might need to use another way to save information), I put next to the loop so that the file save only one loop is over. I need to find a way to get all the information in the queue, so I use Mathscript

Down while the loop has a tunnel that will display only the data of the last iteration.

What you need to do is add data, but put the waveform in a registry change so that it is available for the next iteration to be able to add more data to it.

  • Why MATLAB cannot read wav files OR? Mind wav compression errors.

I write, 1-n-channel, 24-bit wav files using the standard vi OR its file Open/Close/Write (DBL) found in LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\sound2\lvsound2.llb. This application data are acquired from a NOR-9234 via USB-9162 or NOR-cDAQ-9172. My wav files are readable by many readers of wav, including media player file (channels 1-2), SoundForge, and my own readers of LabVIEW wav file. However, MathLab is unable to read these files, saying they cannot deal with compressed wav format. As we read in the documentation of NOR, these files are decompressed. I found a player wav to header via the discussion forums and read my wav file. The compression code that was printed was-2 instead of 1 for uncompressed. Anyone had similar problems reading in MATLAB? Someone knows something about the importance of a - 2 for compression? My guess is that there is a word size problem here that MATLAB cannot process or NOR is not properly function.

Well, I learned a little more since last we spoke. The standard MatLab wav player is wavread.m. This script must be able to read multi channels 24 bit files; but he does not read files from LabVIEW. We find a change to this script, called wavexread.m, which was developed to read wav files that use WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE. This format was developed by MS as an extended format to write multi channel + 24 bit files with more information included. LabVIEW wav files are readable by MatLab via the use of this script. Basically the script ignores formatting as if the compression for the PCM format setting was set to 1 (instead of-2 or, as we know it, "FEFF"). I tried rewriting the file binary wav and replaced the "FEFF" with "0100". This file is readable by the wavread.m of stock but not the wavexread.m extended; hiliting besides the fact that MatLab do not really care.

However, I'll throw this back order to ask whether it is really necessary to use the extended format to write these files when the standard format would be sufficient. It sure would have made life much easier if my client did not need to worry about this.

    Thanks for your help.

  • On Clip WAV files

I ripped a CD in WAV format, and it seems to play fine on my Clip (no problem).  However, after searching the forum I found several contradictory answers to "The Clip does not support WAV format" to "he will play WAV files if they are common old Wav files. What I was wondering if my video automatically converts the WAV to MP3 file or actually reproduced as a lossless WAV?  Does anyone know?  WAV format support did not mention specifications.  Any help is appreciated.

The Clip supports WAV (see the manual of the player) and your drive is reading of WAV files as that.
