Enterprise M552 printer: printer HP Enterprise M552 - duplex problem
Hello
Can anyone help - I'm wunning 10 Windows and when I want to print double-sided on my HP Laserjet M552 the duplex option Enterprice offer 'manually '. This means that I must go to the printer and physically turn the pages more and then run again for the reverse pages to print.
Really annoying! How can I configure it to duplex printing automatically?
It was their impression both sides automatically but seems to have changed manually only.
Help, please...
Hello
Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
Click the device settings tab.
As installed in Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory and then click OK to save the change.
Automatic duplex printing should now available.
Kind regards

HP Universal print driver: printers use duplex for single page documents
Here's our environment: Print Server Windows 2008 with many different printers HP HP, using UPD. Customers running Windows 7 x 64.
We configure default duplexing for environmental issues. When a single document page is printed, the printer uses duplex; After the printer page, it brings back the paper to 'print' the empty side of the single page document!
We lack something hidden in the configuration of the printer? Or isn't smart enough to single-side print when driver/printer duplex is active and only need to print?
Best regards
Change the driver on the print server has solved the problem. I discovered that the "smart duplex" was working when printing directly to the printer (IP). We use v5.2 PCL 6 (61.112.1.9321). Changing to v5.9 PCL 6 (61.170.1.18326), which has solved.

The printer indicates that online, my laptop said that it is in offline mode, I've deleted and reinstalled the printer and still the same problem, please help
You are not quite correct. Some newer wireless printers have only a wireless connection. No USB port and a standard Ethernet cable port.

Portable printer HP Officejet 8625: duplex
When printing on two double-sided pages, the first page always prints with no printing on the back side.
For example: If printing three pages and select duplex printing. Page will be printed on one side of the first page, and the back side is empty. Print pages two and three on the second sheet of the two sides of it.
It comes up with something like that on two pages... the first sheet will always be a white back with writing on the front. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot to all of you for suggesting the documents. However, the two documents described the normal OPS of printing and did not help with this weird duplex printing error.
What I discovered in DIY... and using a large number of printed pages!... that is in the "Pages to print" printer dialog box, you must select the arrow to develop 'other Options '. When that widens the options, select "Turn Pages". Now, when you print any number of odd pages, documents are normally printed with page 2 on the back of page 1; and other pages as expected.

P3015 - can you print header on both duplex and duplex not?
OK, so I read the posts on bugs with the firmware and printing backwards. I am convinced that this is not the problem that we have.
We have a P3015DN. Try 2 we have letterhead.
Staff sometimes want to print duplex on letterhead sometimes single-sided.
I know this sounds simple butI don't think that this is possible.
An example: Document1 has two pages, the word on the first page and on the second secondpage firstpage.
If I load the paper as indicated for letterhead (2 tray settings are A4 and every type) have one side it prints two pages correctly the way straight to the top.
If I change the settings to print both sides and print the document it prints the page one to the back of the paper to header (and backwards) and two page at the front of the book and upside.
Is this correct behavior?
Is there a way to get around this? I tried rotation (which brings them the correct way to the top), but it still prints pages and then two in the front and one at the rear. (although I also change the parameter from the front to the back on the back of a plan)
Probably HP cannot have highlighted a printer allowing printing two-sided all or nothing?
Any help is appreciated, we have 10 of them that will come back in a week if not.
According to the manual of LaserJet P3010 series user's Guide (http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01612470/c01612470.pdf - see page 105) you should be able to set the Alternative letterhead mode in the driver:
Load letterhead or paper pre-printed the same way for each employment, to printing on one or both sides of the page:
one) Open the Options section of the Document, and then open of the printer features section.
b) in the Alternative headerdrop down menu Mode, select on.
c) in the product, the paper in the same way that you would for printing on both sides.

E-all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 5740: duplexing for Officejet 5740
I recently bought an all-in-one Officejet 5740 printer. I knew that duplex automatic was a defect and not an option. I can't find a way to change to 1-sided (there no selection in the properties). Is there an allowance for 1-sided printing to this printer model?
Hello
The application used to print, open the print dialog box, and then click Properties / Settings / preferences to access the Printing Preferences dialog box.
In the Layout tab set duplex printing as Off, confirm the changes and try to print again.
In addition, in Control Panel open components and Printersm click the right button the printer icon and select Printing Preferences.
Make sure that the same thing as two-sided printing is disabled to ensure that it is disabled by default.
Kind regards

I have need to print Web pages very frequently for my business and can no longer preview before printing, or what method I use (drop-down menu, click right, etc..). Can't print a page that has an icon of the printer on it. Extremely frustrating and I'm ready to come back, God forbid, Internet Explorer. So things like adding of modules is Greek to me I am not a grumpy! I'd be happy to go back to a previous version of Firefox that worked if I knew how.
Can you try disabling the extension "HP Smart Web Printing"?
Orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Modules
On the left, click Extensions. There should be a button to disable for the HP Smart Web Printing.
After restarting Firefox, print works? (Fingers crossed!)

Hello team HP,
We used the driver 32 bit printer "HP Color LaserJet 4600 PS" to write the PDF file using Acrobat Distiller in Windows server 2003 operating system.
But now, we have migrated our production environment for Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit operating system and using the 32-bit printer "HP Color LaserJet 4600 PS" driver in the operating system Windows Server 2012.
Is the driver support 32 bit printer "HP Color LaserJet 4600 PS" Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit operating system?
If it is not supported then what printer driver will support the Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit operating system?
Help us to this problem as soon as POSSIBLE and its very high priority for us.
Kind regards
Gaudin. B
Hello
CLJ 4600 is not supported on Windows Server 2012. However, you can use HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) for print on CLJ 4600 of Win Server 2012.
Here is a list of the printers supported with the UPD: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04324001#N106AD

L7680 4 in 1 printing of the colored lines problem
My L7680 print incorrectly colored lines. Seems to be most of the lines with a red component. A 8 x 10 color photograph prints quite correctly. All the diagnostic tools, clean/align/etc. also print correctly.
All ink cartridges are full, but I noticed a page of test a cartridge and a print head are not original HP. Absolutely false, I've never changed one of the printheads and the cartridge which was also noted (I forgot the correct term) was magenta and basically brand new (and a HP!).
This suggest anything to anyone? If so, of course, be happy to hear from you.
Dave
You print the page of diagnosis with the three different test modes? I look over this document here and go on the steps you have performed not listed since it is the document that takes account the results of poor quality for your printer model. I'd also give the contacts on the cartridge manual cleaning as well as those on the print head. Page 147-150 on the Manual shows manual cleaning of the print head. Here is the method to clean the contacts:
Follow these steps to clean the contacts of the cartridge.

Business cards printing Avery: «the WANDERING MARGIN PROBLEM-upper margin question»
Does anyone have an idea if HP has an idea on how to charge someone to solve this problem of card perforated business stock do not print correctly? This problem is now all over the internet.
I intend to consumerist on-site validation in the hope that they would return to the problem.
And look at all the other posts for business card printing problems that I looked into this forum and no there are no solutions. And no huge thick shouldn't matter since everyone here has probably seen a HP catch upwards of more than 3 or more sheets of paper and print on the top, okay...
I suffer from this PROBLEM of MARGIN WANDERING too. I have
have the printer of HP all-in-one Officejet Pro L7680, Windows XP, Office 2007, Microsoft Publisher, model Avery 8873. I did everything correctly. Always my business cards print perfectly on regular paper and they print directly from the upper part on the expensive card stock. It's very frustrating.
I tried the ideas here. I tried thick paper, map of Photo greeting, best quality and normal quality. I tried holding my finger on the map slightly as it feeds in. I tried folding the sides of the card upward slightly. I get a print one out of every five success. I'm so freakin disappointed I could scream. I've been laid off and I put in network and interviews to attend to and I need my business cards!
Avery people are useless. They wanted me to call Microsoft! I kept saying 'Meg' alignment was very good for ordinary and incorrect paper with a stock of cards Avery. I asked her if she knew thick HP for card stock printer settings. She told me to call Microsoft. I wonder if she was in fact an automaton that accepts no responsibility.
I thought I bought the best brand printer. I tried the Brother brand. They are really lousy. I really expect HP to be better.
In the end, I got a few cards that are acceptable. But I've lost 80%! If you compare them they are not all aligned the same. With capacities of shit like that I could just my printer scrap and the contract of employment at Office Depot. Who needs this aggravation?
