Envy 14-J009TX: low Panel disassembly Envy 14

I bought this laptop 2 months ago, and since I'm working in a dusty environment, this laptop starts to clog with dust on the fans. I want to open it so that I can clean the fans and remove the accumulation of dust. After the disassembly guide and by unscrewing all the screws, I had a problem. I can't remove the rear panel no matter how the guide said that it is. I don't want to break or Chafe the lower panel and a metal frame as well

Can someone please?

Hi @MalvinVVV,

Thanks for getting back to me.

There should be no glue.

I use 2 small screwdrivers. I use a screwdriver to force open the case and the other to keep it open because I move first.

Hope this helps

    Could you tell me why he would do this?

    This is because the forms don't know, how many records is extracted from the database.
    If you go to the last record, forms will show you how many records in your building.

    You can set the property query block all records to yes to see immediately the number of records

  • HP ENVY 15 laptop: laptop bottom panel replacement

    Hello

    I bought my laptop about a month ago and it is currently under factory warranty. Two days before I accidentally dropped my laptop table and there is a break in the lower panel. It is possible to replace my bottom panel under warranty. If this is not the case, how much it cost to replace the Panel from the bottom only. Please advice. Thank you.

    The standard warranty does not cover physical damage to a drop. You will need to have a protection against accidental damage, which would have been sold at an additional cost. It is the image that the fall has also put a small crease in the top cover. These parts are available, but very expensive HP and labor to do the replacement is also very expensive because you basically rebuild the laptop from the bottom to the top. If you are interested in pursuing the repair at your expense, post back with your country of residence and the number of full model of the laptop, so we are sure that get us the right parts. We can provide a manual, a video (maybe) and help find the parts as economically as possible, maybe not directly from HP.

    Furthermore, this isn't a warranty HP channel and I don't speak for them. If you want to hear from the horse's mouth opens here a case of pension:

  • Impossible to add RAM, Pavilion low g4-1117dx two cover screws of the Panel unscrew a point then pop.

    The lower panel of my HP Pavilion 1117dx g4 has two screws to unscrew to a point and then pop.  I was hoping to add another KGB of RAM.  They seem to be most endangered and yet they turn freely, there is a little tension, and they jump as you turn them.  It seems that a few more rounds and they would be out.   Initially, I assumed that they were not out but the coverage does not seem to get out.   I guess you need to release some tabs with a flat edge, but I've had success now.  If anyone has a g4-1117dx can you check to see if these screws come out or are they supposed to stay in cover and apparently I need to apply more pressure to remove the cover.  Thank you...

    After the screws are loose, you will have to apply pressure to the nearest edge of the back of the laptop to free the clichés about the rest of the edges.

  • How can I disable the bottom panel that displays the bookmarks and history?

    I do not know there is an obvious answer to this question that I simply do not see!

    A new "Panel" magically appeared in to the bottom of my browser (full-width). It contains the history and bookmarks. I can't understand how to remove the lower panel. I don't see anything in the settings which fixed this; and "restore defaults" does not remove it. The only thing I can do is to slide the top panel down to reduce to the minimum-, but it reappears every time a new browser window opens.

    This becomes a real problem trying to use FIrebug or Web Developer, because they compete for the same real estate. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you!

  • Calibrate the Panel 2 on Libretto W100

    My knowledge and my ability as a manager should mean that this issue is a no-brainier, but he beat me!

    The second (lower) Panel of my W100 needs to re - calibrate, but I can't convince the device to do. I consulted * Tablet PC settings * and I tried * calibration *-it allowed me to calibrate the display panel 1 (top) perfectly. With the 2nd group, trying to tap the cross produces the usual sound and the circle where my finger pressed, but he would not recognize the "tap." The only option was to support on * Esc * to exit.

    When you try * installation * (in * Tablet PC settings *), it seems that the device cannot deal with the idea of having to support on * entry * continue - be it on the virtual keyboard or a USB device. Accordingly, it is not possible to precede real calibration screen (even if I can get beyond the command "Touch this screen to identify it as the touchscreen".)

    Two touchscreens are working perfectly, the works of virtual keyboard perfectly on both panels... it's just that the calibration process will only allow me to calibrate panels 1 and not 2 (even though I chose the Panel 2)

    Y at - it a secret that I am not deprived?

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello

    Can you please try this method for calibration of the Panel:

    Tap 0) set it to zero, if the calibration data has been backed up.
    (1) 1 select. Inner cover of Toshiba 1024 x 600
    (2) calibrate
    (3) select 2. Inner cover of Toshiba 1024 x 600
    4) press reset
    (5) re - select 2. Inner cover of Toshiba 1024 x 600
    (6) calibrate
    Calibrate 7) is fine. (16 points of the cross)

  • panels and multithreading - what features can I call from another thread.

    I am writing a program (Windows XP, LabWindows/CVI 2010) that has several threads. The main thread generates and manages most of the panels, but not all. Is there a list of what control panel functions are thread-safe and which are not? Reading the help file and the different positions, the functions of set value are safe; game-attribute functions are NOT. (I found that calling (SetPanelAttribute) with ATTR_TITLE will be locked permanently a program!). What about calliing a command callback function? (Via the CallCntrlCallback() function). It seems to work very well so far, but I can't find anything definitive.

    I do a lot of multi-thread applications, so I have a few ideas for you.  Unfortunately, I have not tried to do many of the changes of attributes specific threads lower panel.

    I'm very careful about how I handle the wire "solidity", dealing with the variables in an asynchronous way, as much as possible, to avoid the use of blocking and incorrect values of the variables.

    But there are certainly many things simply cannot make you the son of the daughter.  Things like question popups and launch other threads cannot be done simply.  As long as you understand that the best place to do something is in the main thread, and then a girl thread can use PostDeferredCall (...), do something in the main thread

    In the thread of your daughter, you can insert this call:

    PostDeferredCall (launchNewThread, 0);

    And then this call performs this function in the main thread:
    void CVICALLBACK launchNewThread(void *callbackData)

    {
    CmtScheduleThreadPoolFunction (threadPoolHandle, NewThread, NULL, NULL);
    }

    Or you can insert calls from parameter of the attribute panel inside the function above, I suppose, to safely run in the main thread.

    Hoe, that helps...

  • Lightroom panels "rendered twice"?

    It is really strange and I can't find any mention elsewhere so I hope someone can help.
    I am under Lightroom 5.7.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium on a PC brand new. Processor: Intel Core i7 - 5820 K 3.3 GHz; 16 GB of RAM; NVIDIA GTX960 2 GB.

    When I start LR I see the standard startup screen but it occasionally has wide white translucent boarder around it.  More annoying is that when using the Magnifier in the library or in modes of developing the lower panel (thumbnails) or the left panel is partially rendered in the upper part of the photo (example below). This can be removed using the TAB key to remove the panels and then bring them back, but mode change will reintroduce the problem.  I put each Panel to reveal or hide manually. I changed the cable to DVI Displayport display with no effect. I uninstalled LR and reinstalled CC and the manual download, but the problem persists. I created a new catalog - no images - on the SSD that the application is running and the same record is present. No other application (PS CC2014, bridge, MS Office, Chrome, etc.) don't have similar problems or otherwise with the way in which they appear.
    Has anyone encountered previously or had no idea what could be the problem?  Thank you very much.

  • How to get only the central panel to resize and display a scroll bar?

    I have a window (frame) that has three panels - upper, middle and lower. When the window is narrowed down, I need a scroll bar is displayed for the central panel only. If the maximum possible vertical shrinkage would be the sum of the upper and lower panels and a small amount (to display the scroll bar of the central panel). So the upper and lower panels should always be completely (height wise). Please review my code and suggest corrections. I tried the couple in different ways, but without success... If you are using a BorderLayout, then Center will develop and reduce both the need and therefore should work as you wish. For example,.

    import java.awt.BorderLayout;
    import java.awt.Dimension;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class PanelResizingB extends JPanel {
       private static final Dimension PANEL_SIZE = new Dimension(300, 150);
       private String[] labelStrings = {"Top Panel", "Middle Panel", "Bottom Panel"};

       public PanelResizingB() {
          setLayout(new BorderLayout());

          JPanel[] panels = new JPanel[labelStrings.length];
          for (int i = 0; i < panels.length; i++) {
             panels[i] = new JPanel(new BorderLayout());
             panels.add(new JLabel(labelStrings[i]));panels[i].setPreferredSize(PANEL_SIZE);}

    add(panels[0], BorderLayout.NORTH);add(new JScrollPane(panels[1]), BorderLayout.CENTER);add(panels[2], BorderLayout.SOUTH);}

    private static void createAndShowUI() {JFrame frame = new JFrame("PanelResizingB");frame.getContentPane().add(new PanelResizingB());frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);frame.pack();frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);frame.setVisible(true);}

  • A link to the specific Spry Panel

    I'm trying to bind to specific Spry panels on a different page. I watched and copied stuff from the region of Spry of Adobe Labs, but's it obviously quite right yet. The first code below from page with Spry Panel, and the second part, of course, includes the binding code, I tried. In both cases, it simply opens the page to the default Panel - '0' or 'finding of General song '. With the second example, the lower panel (panel1) is appearing just for a moment, when you click on her link, but then the top panel / default appears and remains.

    Thank you - JAY
