Envy 17-j184na: the iphone videos won't play on HP Envy
I recently bought and HP Envy 17 laptop and have tried any backup of my 5s iphone photos and videos on thelaptop however whenever I try to play videos through the pictures folder or photo library enforcement nothing works. In the photo app to the app just freezes and crashes, and the pictures in the document reader media folder just happens does not. This happens with most of my videos
I saw that other people have had the same issure and I installed the VLC video application as suggested and still nothing.
There was an IOS update since I started to take videos but it makes no difference that a few videos that work are both before and after the update so it may not be a problem with my phone, and videos I've taken in the last days do not work
Any ideas how can I fix?

I set my alarm to play a ring tone instead of a healthy normal alarm, and until very recently, the song plays when my alarm goes off. I have tried so that the first thing, but it didn't work at all. Anyway, I solved the problem in the meantime by uninstalling Firefox and put it back. Please note that I had to do a CLEAN install, and I mean by 'clean' that I had to remove the settings as well. First I tried to reinstall it but I kept the settings (Firefox will ask if you want to keep when you uninstall) and it did not work. I therefore saved bookmarks and uninstalled everything. The later resettlement has solved the problem.
Using background video is actually is not supposed to work on mobile devices (at least not on iOS), because audio and video are not allowed to auto-play, which is necessary for the background video to start playing automatically. These devices who do not play the video and they may be returned it to a video player, jumping in front of all the rest. So it's a bad, or even impossible design idea, I guess...
Captivate 8 - video integration problems. Video won't play Web server when published under the title of course HTML5 and video is selected to play in the same screen. Play video it works only in a new window. The problem is the customer's requested integrated video and it shows as an option in Captivate 8. In addition, the video screen is not at the same place on the screen, the image moves to the top of the browser window in Internet Explorer. Graphics problems appear ONLY in IE and Chrome for PC. We have updated browsers, installed all updates to Captivate 8 etc.
The issue seems to be with internet explore. The url is *.mp4, if IE browser opens Media player in a new window to read the files.
Workaround solution:
Instead of using the interaction of the Web object, you can use a Web object (objects-> Web) site in the menu object.

If your internet speed is 8 MB per second or less, chances are that the internet connection is the cause of the problem, especially, if like most of the ISP, you ISP limits the speed of the internet at certain times of the day. For example, the problem happen only between the hours of, let's say 18:00 and 21:30. If this is the case then the ISP is limiting the speed on your line. It is perhaps one of the most common glitches in WMP, but MS is so confused, there is no solution (codec) to set the Iphone vids vertically in WMP.
When you follow the web tutorials to rotate the clip using Live Movie Maker, it records the video to the format .wlmp that won't play in WMP. So if you try to publish a movie there no option but send on Youtube or add Codec, which opens a page of gibberish, or when you try to save the film each option results in error "the device is not ready".
If a guru of SevenForums cannot browse this intuitive nonsense, how millions of average users who find WMP plays videos of the Iphone on the side, while MS allows their ignorant WMP like some stubborn dinosaurs blunder?

My husband 6 (v9.2) IPhone has stopped playing its purchased, custom ringtone in the last week. He is certainly on the personalized ring, we have turned on/turned off the phone twice, and yet he won't play, despite being put on the custom ring tone. I've seen other similar messages, but no definitive answers. Very annoying that he cannot hear his favorite ringtone that we paid a lot of money for.

I have this problem as well. You appear to affect ringtones purchased after the 9.2 update. In my case, all my new ringtones Star Wars BB-8 go silent. A temporary solution is to connect your iPhone to iTunes and remove all ringtones and then re - sync. It should start working again. I noticed that when you restart your iPhone, the problem reappears and the steps above should be repeated.
I've updated the flash 17NPAPI drive 3/20 and now no audio or video will play. Went through all the help the Odobe website which shows the installation but also shows my OS XP, but I have windows 7. The previous version was still appearing in my programs as active 16 X adobe flash player so I deleted a new and thought that the old one would work so well. But still no audio or videos don't play.
My windows media player works fine, it's just when I get online with firefox that I'm having this problem...

Hello I've updated to the latest version of flash player 11.4.402.287 today, the two versions of activex or plugin appear in flash Manager. However, I'm unable to play youtube flash videos, the bar at the top shows "Install missing plugin" I repeated the installation process, it does not appear to complete successfully, but even once when trying to play youtube videos, the "install missing plugin appears" and the videos will not play.
I have also installed and re installed the last version of firefox today, thought that can help, seem to have the same problem. The flash player is not listed in the plugin adds on the list. I don't know what else to do, or what could be the problem.
I would appreciate any advice, please

Cannot understand it. I have a video file to stream my published Flash file. Works fine at home. All files are in one folder. Transfer the file on a USB key to bring it to school and When I load up on the Web site I get this spin green/black on the skin of the piece and the video will not play. I'll double check to see if I can play on my machine of the school directly to the USB output and it does not work either (he did on my machine at home). Any ideas on how I'm spoil? Thank you
