• Oracle EPM Planning 11.1.2.3.500 data loading issue

  We do a load all night at our project and dimensions of a csv file. We use a unix shell script command to build to start this process.  First, we conduct a dry using the / N command, if this is successful we then update and save our contour using the / C command. The problem is that dry running checks only the file to make sure that it is valid, it does not test the file against the contour.  I was wondering if anyone knows of an order, that I can use to test against the contour csv file WITHOUT saving it. This way if there is an error in the file, it will not update our plan with incorrect data.

  You will need to run the file through a few scripts to check some things that you are looking for.

  I had a similar problem to another client, they also check that their wasn't any what issues/releases (alias) for the construction of the dimension when running on the day the day.

  The solution came us up with a (do not know if it would work in your scenario), we have treated our generation of dimension file towards the end of the company.

  So we had a race the night before and if there are problems they are sorted before the race every night. Minor problems that could be corrected using fact, how if there were too many questions of a change in the hierarchy, we not treat of the day to the next and get the company to fix their hierarchies before we reconstructed again.

• Patch Oracle EPM 11.1.2.3.500

  Hello

  I intend to apply the patch 500 to EMP 11.1.2.3.000 version.

  First condition is a software of Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package after that I need to apply the Patch Update Set (PSU): 17529887 for all products Hyperion and Essbase Server 17767302

  So my question is

  1) do we need to apply the patches of the ADF? If Yes, what are the numbers of patch? Do we need to apply the ADF patch before applying the patch 17529887 ?

  (2) here 17529887 will be responsible for Hyperion products unlike when we apply the 300 to 11.1.2.2 version patch each product as each patch.

  (3) in the Essbase Section, we have a patch called RunTime Client patch. What is the use of this? It's nothing but EAS Web Console Patch?

  If you're using FDMEE and patch then Yes you must apply the hotfix ODI.

  Everything you need for the OHS change is edit the file and add the line in the patch.

  If you use not HFM then you would not be possible to save an adapter for a product, you have not installed.

  If you upgrade 11.1.2.2.000, run the OWSM configuration scripts. These steps are required only if the ERP Integrator is integrated with the account reconciliation (ARM) Manager, control of PeopleSoft or merger Financials commitments and do not have applied 11.1.2.2.300

  1. Ensure that the Integrator ERP patch has been applied and the ERP Integrator is configured successfully.
  2. Ensure that the ERP Integrator and administration WebLogic Server are in working order.
  3. Run the scripts to the server on which is deployed ERP Integrator. To run scripts:
  4. Start a Windows command prompt.
  5. Under UNIX/Linux, open a terminal shell.

  So according to the patch notes - no you do not.

  That said, I would check see if ERPi has been fixed, so you can be sure.

• Calculation Manager does not start after the 11.1.2.3.500 patch

  Before the upgrade with the patch 500 the EPM environment worked very well.

  After you apply the hotfix (17529887) and later (19142919), I am facing a strange error.

  After restarting the services, Manager of calculation does not work. All other components of EPMA operate correctly.

  When trying to start the calculation Manager, the window becomes like a Web page when there is no internet connection. Internal error in the server with instructions to check your internet connection, etc..

  I looked in several log files, but did not find anything.

  Where to look?

  We had the same problems with our manager of Calc, but our environment was on a SSL using SST. To apply a patch 18880328 on 17529887 to get this working. Don't know if you're on SSL, but its value give a try.

  Import the following projects of odi/11.1.2.2.00/workrep INSERT_UPDATE mode:

  In select them files to import, there is no xml to import but readme indicates that we have to import PROJ_AIF_File_Project.xml- PROJ_JDE_Adapter_Project.xml.

  If you select AIF_FILE_PROJECT only this project xml files will be copied.

  Basically these files replaced with the patch the patch.500 put a few new files instead of old one so you just need to import the project that's all.

  Apply this patch, 17529887 ... Make sure you have this patch for correct OS for all servers in your env and as I say always follow the readme and ignore "en" in the choice of language in the case where if his English.

• Slow down the patch: 11.1.2.2.500

  I applied the patch.500 to 11.1.2.3 and it seemed to go through just fine, but earlier by applying the equivalent patch.500 (i.e. support Windows 8 & IE10) on a 11.1.2.2 environment and it takes AGES for the opatch to blow through to apply it.

  Everyone has noticed this?

  It seems as if she updates the ear/war files directly in place for the likes of Pia and raframework, with each update takes about 2 sec.

  I think that this is mainly because the Foundation, usually the ear file is packed but in 11.1.2.2.500 it is therefore increased instead of simply replacing the ear as in 11.1.2.3.500, he must open the ear not corrected using one of the expanded files, close the ear, open ear and go to the file... after a long and laborious process raf is probably the same thing.

• Not able to extend the Essbase in EAS Console Server - 11.1.2.3.500

  We have improved Hyperion 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3 and then applied the Patch.500.

  We get an error (your session is not connected to the Essbase server/agent) when we expand the Essbase server through the Regional service console. Here are the mistakes of HyS9eas - sysout.log. We are able to connect to servers via Maxl and Add-in essbase however.

• Form formatting not available in 11.1.2.5.200/11.1.2.3.500 planning

  I patched (quite painfully as always) my compact deployment to 11.1.2.3.500.

  As part of this process of correction, I've upgraded Smart View to 11.1.2.5.200.

  When I go into the planning forms, all of the formatting has disappeared.  I mean here the Member cell colors, colors of data cell, locked cells (I'm loggin in as owner of the app, but I still should not be able to enter data at the top of the dimension), etc., not here.

  I go into the Options and made sure that 'Use of Cell Styles' was checked (although I thought it was an irrelevant option for planning) as well as to ensure that there are in fact all sorts of settings for cell styles - there are.

  So what don't understand me?

  I'm looking not a little in support, but these KBs appear to be on a swivel, cascade, etc..  In other words, formatted to go once it has been applied.  I can't even format.

  Finally, I must emphasize that formatting worked very well in SV 11.1.2.5.000/11.1.2.3.000.  I even tried to rollback 11.1.2.5.000 SV - it made no difference.

  I managed to understand this one.

  My patch.500 installation had problems - planning would not open in Internet Explorer.  Thanks to some suggestions of John Booth, I applied the patches ADF 16964825 and 18362693 to my system.  Who got the job schedule, but has not resolved the issue of the Smart View (Smart View worked when IE would not--he had these weird same formatting problems).

  I just restored via VMWare (so not an opatch rollback) on a pre.500 patch, installed the two patches of ADF in the folder oracle_common\opatch (not the EPMSystem11R1\opatch folder), then applied the correctifs.500.  I must point out that the patch 17529887 has stated that these ADF patches were already there and abandoned their plot (just two ADF patches. the rest of the patch worked).

  And that's all, it works now.

  We had the environment SSL enabled which we removed recently and now the environment is not SSL. We are able to connect to work space and run all of the components, but when we migrate any new request we receive following error. Can someone advise.

• SmartView support

  We are on Essbase 11.1.2.3 Patch 500 and the transition of the Add - in Essbase Excel SmartView. My users have tested the SmartView 11.1.2.5.520 version and the feedback has been mostly positive. There are 2 questions tests with SmartView APWG and we are curious if someone else encountered these problems and if there is a solution or workaround?

• Configuration of IIS for EPMA after HTTP installation and configuration

  Someone did he do the IIS on EMP web server configuration after initial HTTP configuration without problems?

  We installed the EPM (11.1.2.4 + patches) on your server, as well as of Essbase server a separate B (both are Windows 2008R2). We made our initial configuration of the web server with the Oracle HTTP server but have a new requirement to install EPMA requiring IIS. We have not yet installed IIS on a server. Can we just install IIS on a server and reconfigure the IIS instead of the user HTTP web server? Our load-balanced program requires IIS listening on port 91000.

  It is possible to run IIS on a different port, this is done in Internet Information services manager.
