  Hi Spydi,

  I don't think you need the CANopen library since you already use the instrument EPOS Driver.

  Currently using a NI-CAN device to connect your controller? This is a device for both engines I think?

  We are not very familiar with this set of drivers because it is not created by NOR, but I think all you have to do is to change the axis of entry to determine which engine is controlled.

  So probably your first engine corresponds to the axis 0 (default value in the example program), then your second engine corresponds to the axis 1. When you want to send commands to the different engines, set the ID of node/keyhandle axis accordingly.

  You should ask Maxon to explain their software. Or read the manuals they offer...

  Motors with a logic generally use a communication scheme registry. You write to register to set parameters, you read some registers for current parameters/values of the engine. Each cluster in this array describes one of these registers/parameters, such as the first with registry address x 6064, x 0 and d4 value. These settings seem to resemble specifications CANopen CiA!

  I can't open this VI because it's the version of LabVIEW, but probably you will find labels on the control of entry of this Subvi. Read the labels...

  Hi all

  Using maxon EPOS 2 (positioning system easy) to order the EC motor. It comes with Windows 32 - Bit DLL for labVIEW. How to use these anointings of library in labVIEW correctly? When I try to call the function of library in a LabVIEW program, it shows me a warning about a caller and if the Subvi is not executable. Do I have to change the location of files library or make any other change?

  Hello everyone, I'm new here and I tried to find out how this process of work for some time and I ran out of options. LabView is very difficult to understand.

  I'm about to order a controller epos Maxon motor 24/5. I have a vi that does what I do, but I need to find a way to make the process faster. Basically will control a wing that goes forward and backward at very high speeds. I'm not sure what I should do, I would also like to generalize the process by a power enter a function or a wave of the position of my choice.   Without the subVIs Epos, it is difficult to say where downturns could be.

  Take into account:

  1. the mathscript node is probably much slower than native LabVIEW, special code for what looks like a logic very simple.  Replace with the range of comparison functions.  Also consider the feedback node initialization so that you know where it starts when the VI is called.

  2. learn a few basics of data flow. Your delay (ms) and judgment is read only once at the beginning of the VI and these original values are passed to the loop. Any subsequent changes to these values will not see inside the loop. Move the terminals in the loop.

  3. double code: you have the same Subvi in each case in the structure of the case. Move the Subvi outside the structure of the case and simply use the box structure to choose which set of values will be used.

  4. given that the minimum value of the delay (ms) is 150, the loop cannot run more than about 6 times per second.  You don't specify what you mean by high speeds for the control of the wing, but this may be a factor.

  Hi all

  I run my program trying to communicate with two EPOS2 24/5, the nodeId = 1 communication is normal and it is functioning normally, but with the nodeId = 2 I get this error is attached to the underside.

  I tried with the Example_demo.vi, but it does not work with ID = 2.

  The program to initialize the engine is inside a function using labview to 32-bit with EPOS2 dll from 32 bit as well. If I run the EPOS studio previously and run my program after that the error does not appear.

  I tried to find the error all over internet and I could not find. Could someone help me? How I can to solve?

• Problem installing generic text printer POS Ready version of XP.

  I'm trying to install EPOS software, but it requires the receipt printer be connected to generic text printer.  However, when I try to install the printer, she prays for the xp disks (which I did not and the provider can not give me as it was embedded software).

  Does anyone know what xp disc I need and where I could get some (or download it).
  I tried to install the specific driver for the exact (Epson TM-T88iV) but it does not work.  I really need to connect to the generic printer as I have been working on another epos system which runs full windows xp.

  Hi all I am implementing a control loop of speed on my motor Maxon EPOS2 controller, using the AOP, sent through my real time controller (OR cRIO-9022) with a DRUM module (9853). I set up the mapping of the PDO in the dictionary of the object of the EPOS2, so that each new RxPDO1 contains the new speed desired highlighted, and I try to use the simple example in the standard Canadian example directory criocanopenbaisc (downloadable for free here http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5474). Can I change manually in the object dictionary the value of the desired speed using the studio tool EPOS by logging in through the port USB the EPOS2 to my computer, but when I connect the EPOS2 to the port of cRIO CAN0 values recently sent has no effect. To try first the .vi file hung on the AOP read command, which is just after the AOP command write. I guess that means that no real PDO is sent via the CAN bus. However, I have excluded the diagram of the PDO 'read', now the file runs and ends but no command is sent to the EPIC. I can check with an oscilloscope that many similar digital waveforms are sent, as if no ACK signal has been received. After several attempts, I sent AOP structured in the following way:

  COB - ID (4 bytes containing the COB - ID for RxPDO1 U32 representation: 531)

  Updated value (4 bytes containing the representation of the value of the desired speed, U32).

  0 in U32

  0 in U32.

  The last two U32 are then sent to be consistent with the example of the nicanopenbasic of library OR.

  For the moment, a signal is sent (no more repetitive signals representative communication fault), but the values are not updated in the EPOS2...

  (I've not seen a patch, and I would not still assume it's a hardware problem before you understand clearly how you tested - don't say no not that it couldn't be a hardware problem, but one of the most common mistakes expects GPS to work inside)

  This error occurs when I go to install an Air fortress .msi file.  It's a pop-up probably from Microsoft Windows XP.  I uninstalled McAfee Antivirus (Enterprise Edition and the tool of the EPO).  I still get the error.  Very frustrating.  Thank you for answering!
