Eror strange message on battery

I have a 6 cell battery 'zero and tooth' the decision-making of Lenovo in may for my T61p (8889).  The battery was new with no cycle on it.  Recently, he started giving the ball to error "not a real battery for Lenovo." Of course, it's a real battery Lenovo (and still in excellent condition).

Did anyone had a similar experience with the Lenovo batteries or non-Lenovo?

Hi sktn77a,

For the SL series, they advise that:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-71269

Perhaps, it applies also for T-series?

  • Help! Switching from my PC I have this strange message

Switching from my PC I have this strange message: "this copy of Windows is not activated. In order to hold an appropriate license this copy must be enabled '...

I'm a little dubious as I have had this PC with Windows XP for almost eternity.  Don't remember exactly when I first bought. -So far - I've been perfectly happy with it and of course that all this activation of the license would have been made all these years.

Over the years there has been many installs new add on hardware like printer, scan again, new monitor etc... also install dropbox, Skype, I-tune and it still all works OK...

So why do I on my desk this permanent message telling me to activate within 3 days. In fact one day have left the warning that I was missing 2 days already...

Also, the logo of Microsoft isn't one I recognize... It is a stylized Star 5 points... Is - this all true? Can I go ahead and follow the instructions...?

Could someone re sure? If poss before 21:00 UK time tonight Sunday, March 31, 2013.

    Thank you all

  • Annoying message: the battery installed on this computer is not genuine lenovo battery

    Hi all!

Does anyone know how to pass the message about "battery lenovo not authentic? It will be nice to hide a black with (!) triangle in the status bar as well.

    Thank you.

If it doesn't have the typical marks of an original, then it is probably a spare battery.   without seeing a picture of your exact battery, it is difficult to say.

Sanyo does not spare batteries, but a replacement battery could use sanyo cells.   the issue is less with the cells and more with circuit board used since it is what controls the battery itself.   a faulty or badly done battery could cause problems, that's why lenovo recommends against the use of authentic everything except batteries.

the software Lenovo power manager is responsible for the pop-up message that you see.   your only option to prevent the message would be to uninstall the power manager.   If you do, remember to let the power management driver installed as your system needs this.

Hello. I think you have to "train" your new battery to the load sensor give real information about it. You must make a minimum 5-6 charging cycles. For this you need full - charge it and unplug the AC, wait for the battery to go until your portable computer shuts down (you can work on it as usual) and then full - charge again. The repetition. If you have used your new battery for a while, then, perhaps, you would need more charge cycles.

PS-once I had a message on the State of health of my battery in L - 50. I've done full-load/full discharge for about two weeks. Now the status of my battery is still good.

  • Audio message and battery

My audio sounds as if it's cracked or more as a speaker to burst, but when I use the headset, it is fine. What can I do about it?

I get a message before that my phone lights up that the battery capacity has decreased. What should I do to get it fixed?

Battery failed test indicates the battery is more than 1 year and is on his last few miles.

The computer * should be fine if you leave it plugged in but when you put it on battery power supply make sure you is not below 20% to 15%. I was going to suggest to let the battery power drops to 0% complete, but..., no lol.

If you're wanting to go the extra couple of steps you can paste the battery in the freezer lol.

The next best thing I can suggest is to buy a new battery or eBay, amazon, our own HP site or you can call us to place an order.

My apologies for your battery Mr.

  • ThinkPad 14 Yoga - Lenovo solutions Center: strange message display

Right. Yes, Hello and thanks in advance. I have a ThinkPad Yoga 14, put far and run the latest version of Windows 10 64-bit edition. First of all, I must point out that this question could not be a problem with the incompatibility of the app all Lenovo apps and programs that work, LSC however seems to be throwing a strange error. It was displaying the same error message from a time of upgrading to W10, this question was not present in W8.

Under system, I get a critical warning to the software update and it says:

    "Windows Update".

    You never updated Windows

    Status: expired

    Last update: not available

To update your operating system, you must run Windows Update.

    [Launch] »

Curiously, no amount of click on the launch button will actually launch wUpdate. And that's all. I have already received, downloaded and installed a dozen updates to day and the message is still there. On another post here on the forum I read I would get this error if the value has not been updated to download and install automatically, but I have not changed the update settings. Everything is automatic. Installation, download, everything. Any ideas?

  • Message 'Illegal battery' A1107

They gave me the A1107 ZTE as a gift (suggested by a salesman at best buy), and it has worked great for the first 30 days.  Now all of a sudden it stops while I am in the middle of something (websearch, e-mail, games, whatever), and once it seems it goes off I get a white screen with a message indicating that the battery is illegal and the machine turn off.  It is an ongoing problem, as I'm lucky that I can keep the tablet running for 10 minutes before it stops on me.  I can't find anything in the forum about it, and I see some horrible comments on the Lenovo customer service.  Help, please!

The illegal battery problem has been alone until I knew in January 2012. The suggestion then was to contact the technical support of Lenvo. You need to call them by phone. It sounds like you have a defective hardware. I'm sorry.

  • Delete message - your battery is able to load normally...

Your battery is able to load normally. However, it is to reach the end of its useful life. How to remove this message? Uninstall DCP is not solution. Why confuse customer with such message him suggesting that me, as dealer sold him BAD laptop with DEFECTIVE battery?

    7. click on OK.

I made no changes to my HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-One printer but when I open my PC, I get this message:

Also, I thought this post was very strange when I read your message, turns out there is a HP document that addresses this issue. Please fill out the solutions in the following document and let me know the results of your efforts; "The component you are trying to use is on a disk that is not available" or a similar Message appears on the computer in Windows.

  • Someone hacked my code from Apple. Strange message appeared on my iphone.

    Hello

I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 9.0 s. Yesterday, I received an email saying that someone connected to my Apple ID through windows.

I was on the way, it wasn't me. I immediately changed my password, but everything by changing a weird message appeared on the screen.

I think that it is Russian or Ukrainian, and someone asked me to send my password of a Gmail account. Of course I didn't.

I changed my password and made a two-step verification. Massage appeared twice more, until I signed my appleID account and then connected again.

Since yesterday, I have not received this message, but should I worry? I want to say changing my password enough?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards
    Dimitar

Is your iPhone jailbroken? Everything is possible on jailbroken devices. For me, it looks like obvious scam message. Consider changing all passwords.

If you back up data on a regular basis will restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
