    Hello

    1. what version of windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit) is installed on the computer?
    2. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?
    3. are you able to install the game with any problem?

Second game of life is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. I suggest you to see the following link for more information:

    Method 1
If you use Windows 7 32 bit, then I suggest you perform the clean boot. When you perform the clean boot make sure you disable all antivirus and firewall and check if the problem persists.

Note: Microsoft does not recommend that you disable the antivirus protection in most conditions. Disable the antivirus protection that temporarily to restore a computer.
Note: Follow step 7 clean boot KB929135 article to reset the computer in normal mode.

    Method 2

  • error code while trying to open the photos include JPEG and BMP files: C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\My Documents\My Pictures\img005.jpg is not a valid Win32 application

I withdrew just a very good old scanner which apparently couldn't handle the recent installation of Windows XP Service Pack 2 or 3, and went with a rather nice Epson V330 Photo.   I uninstalled all old software, want my images to JPEG and BMP to open in Adobe PhotoShop Elements 8 for editing and development.  It is my job and my hobby and means of photography technique.  I reinstalled the scanner by removing the Arcsoft software with which it has been furnished, which is not really suitable for what I do.

Now, I can not open JPEG in PhotoShop Elements 8.0 and here I get the error message:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\My Documents\My Pictures\img005.jpg is not a valid Win32 application

It seems to have something to do with the hack with the folder options after that I spilled the Arcsoft as any kind of primary program.

BUT I have to open JPEG files, and it MUST be in PhotoShop Elements 8, I bought.  I can see, overview and could open to the limited capacity of some of the ArcSoft stuff, but I'm not interested in distance using that.

How can I get these files/folders to open in something useful?  I was able to create JPEG on the new scanner, but now my computer opens not those or 'old' of my files.   See the warning message.

I'm trying to uninstall all the software now and do not reinstall the stuff of Arcsoft, which would not be useful for me in any setting.   But I do not think that this will be the solution, as my computer can not open these key files in PhotoShop Elements 8.0.

I think it's something I did during the passage, but I did system restore and NO RESULT.  NONE!

If you open a directory of photos and go to the thumbnail view in Explorer, they display the thumbnails correctly?

I think that you need to reset the file association for programs that open the image files.  Try a right-click on a jpeg file and go to properties and click on the button to edit, and then designate PS elements 8 as the top program open with, and then see if it works very well.

You can also check the settings in the registry for the types of image files.  Seewww.oehelp.com/noimg.aspx , which deals with a related issue.

  • Error 7 (windows error 998) while trying to open iTunes

I am trying to download (actually re-download) iTunes but can't... I get the following message - 7 Error (window error 998).  What should I do?  I called Apple and I guess there to with Security Essentials program not allowing him not. HELP ME PLEASE :)

Why do you think that this is MSE?  If MSE blocked Itunes because it seemed to be malware, you would receive a window in the lower right of your screen to computer alerting you of the problem.

There are previous questions in Forum Windows with Itunes and MSE does not contribute to errors: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/windows-error-998-and-itunes/9915cb07-5d42-4022-b4cc-ecaeb40a5637

I hope you get things resolved - good luck!

  • Get an error 1706 while trying to open a catalog

I currently use 4 LR and can't open a catalogue outside of LR.  When I try to open a catalog where it is stored in my pictures, I have two dialog boxes (attached screenshots).  The only way I can open a catalog is to open LR and go to open recent.   I keep the catalogues for each year and export that year of photos to catalog and store where I put the photos.  Up to what a few months ago, I could go into the folder of the year I wanted to open, double-click on the LR catalog and voila!  No problems.  The open catalog.  Someone has an idea what is the problem?  I tried researching it and feel that I am in way over my head.  Help!  Thank you!!!Capture.PNGCapture2.PNG

Thanks, Brett!  I ended up calling Adobe and was on the phone with them for

more than an hour.  I wanted to answer in case anyone else has this problem.

No, I'm not on a network.  My catalogs are stored in my pictures.  Nothing

complicated.  The rep that helped me remotely took over my computer and

After consulting with several elderly people decided it was time to send my case

up to the next level because he could not solve the problem, but do it before

He asked that I uninstall and reinstall LR.  Didn't you know that

has worked!  Should have tried first.  I am pleased to announce that I can now open

    upward all my LR catalogs.

Are you sure that you have the same version exact (s) in your system as in the document?

  • get the "Connection to the MDEX error" error while trying to open the micro browser

    Hello

I use short tools and Framework 3.1.0 and MDEX 6.3.0.

While trying to open the Workbench UI browser mic to create configurations of page template, I get message drop-down according to:

Connection to the MDEX error. The data service associated with this editor is not properly configured.

Please guide the if you have the slightest idea.

    Thank you
    Ben Milot

I set up different RecordSpotlight editor to use a short instance successfully. What I did is to change apps\ [your app name]\config\editors_config\services\dataservice.json with search short configuration file updated, save the file and run apps\ [your app name]\control\set_editros_config.bat to apply the change.

To check, you can run apps\ [your order of name]\control\export_site.bat app to export the configuration of your site, updated data service configuration should manifest in the XML of the exported site.

    It will be useful,

    Michelle

  • An unexpected error occurred while trying to verify this extension

I tried for four hours to install the add-on "Adobe watermark" by Russell Brown

Windows 7, Photoshop CS6 (standalone - no CC)

I downloaded using my laptop and recorded (AdobeWatermark_2_2_3.zxp) in my downloads folder on my desktop.

I try to install the add-on on my desktop

    * I have connected to my Adobe account

    * I see that the add-on is 'acquired '.

    * If I press 'install' - nothing appears in Photoshop > Windows > extensions

    * I tried to remove and reinstall

    * I saved this file in my folder "downloads"... AdobeWatermark_2_2_3.zxp

    * If I try to install this "Adobe Extension Manager cs6", I get the error message "an unexpected error occurred while trying to verify this extension."

    * I tried to clear the cache from my browser (Firefox 41.0.2)

    * I close Photoshop and it has re-opened (several times)

    * I installed the extension "cs6 Adobe Exchange" to try to manage my installs. Nothing in the Panel is sensitive - I can't seem to do anything.

Please... what should I do to install the add-on "Adobe watermark" by Russell Brown?

You must use the CS6 extensions Manager to install this add-on. The latest version is 6.0.8.28.
