  • Failed to start the Windows Audio Service on Local computer. Error 1053.

Hello! Last week, I lost all sound elements. When you click the sound icon, I got the error 'there is no available active mixer device. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click Printers and other devices, and then click Add Hardware . "I'm going through the Add Hardware Wizard, click on that I already added the material and select SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec. It says "the device is functioning properly." According to Device Manager, the device is functioning properly. When I go to start, run, services.msc and try to start Windows Audio, I get "unable to start the Windows Audio service on Local computer. Can anyone advise me on what to do?

    Hello

About the message you received, it is likely that your sound driver may be damaged. In this case, try to reinstall the driver.

You can also go to the website of your computer manufacturer to get the driver. They should have ALL the drivers for your computer model. :-)

  • Wireless not working and from "diagnostic policy service" gives error 1053

    Hello

I have a problem with the connection to wireless internet. The router is working because I can get online to other computer and iphone. The question seems to be from my laptop.

    Laptop: Sony Vaio VPCEA
    Windows 7 Home Premium

I was able to connect to the wireless using this laptop last night, but today in some sort it has stopped working. When I try to connect it says "restricted access". I have tried rebooting, removing the memory and of course Google wireless network, but nothing seems to work.

When I tried to solve the problem, it says "diagnostic policy service does not work. So I went into Services and tried to turn it on (START) "Political diagnosis Service" but it gives me "error 1053: the service has failed to demand launch or control in a timely. I read online to install .net Framework 1.1 service Pack1 to get rid of this problem. But which is not supported by Windows 7, the more I installed 4.0 Framework, which should have taken care of this problem.

Another suggestion is to disable the firewall and I noticed that my firewall is already turned off and I can't turn it on. I had the external anti-virus software, which I removed for this problem, but nothing works! When I tried to turn on the Firewall Services' Windows I get an error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. Dependence are: Base filtering engine and Windows Firewall authorization driver. Who do not start.

I tried fixing the registry using the Wise Registry Cleaner. Clean something, she has not fixed any problems yet.

    Help, please. I'M FRUSTRATED!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi bberringer,

The original message has been able to resolve error 1053 by reinstalling Windows. If you have not reinstalled Windows, I would say the following steps before you spend money on the circuit board. If you already try reinstall Windows and always have failed, I suggest the internet search (or the site of the manufacturer if your computer is a Dell, Acer, HP, etc.) for the same or a Platinum compatible as prices can vary according to your computer brand and model.

  • Error 1053 while trying to start the police Cache Service Windows.

  • Apple Mobile Device Error 1053

Running Windows Home Premiun 7, 64 bit. I tried to upgrade to iTunes 12.1.1 and I got the error 1053 Apple Mobile Device. After that hit "Ignore" and it appeared that iTunes loaded, I went to open iTunes and got the 7 error (error Windows 193) and now cannot open iTunes.

After go to Microsoft Web sites and from Apple and try to everything written about the problem (and a ton of hours trying to solve this problem), I'm here looking for wise advice. I completely uninstalled all Apple programs, rebooted and reinstalled iTunes three times with the same results.

Looks like a Microsoft-Apple compatibility program, but I'm just a common Joe, not a computer expert.

Not sure, but see http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1784?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US after reading this (unfortunately long) post http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/error-7-windows-error-193-when-installing-itunes/c6521f87-ee46-4e80-ae61-e940ba03721a?page=1 and see the response of "Hmturner91" on page 2.

  • Printer spooler will not start error 1053

    Hello

I got a Lexmark X 4550 printer installed on my Windows 7 x 64 inspiron for a few months now. Steeplechase the printer would not print that's never happened before. When I went to devices it says there was a problem with the printer and she needed troubleshooting. The store could not find a solution. I found a few fixes suggested online and you have tried without success. However, I discover that the printer spooler has been arrested. When I tried to restart services it came with an error that says: -.

Windows cannot start the service on the local computer printer spooler

Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

I checked that it is configured to run automatically, and when I checked the dependencies that I discovered that the remote procedure call was arrested and the manual value. I have reset automatically and it started successfully. This did not however fix the printer spooler error.

I uninstalled the lexmark software and tried to delete the printer driver - this has not helped either.

I also tried the following: -.

    Open a command prompt window

    the control key;
dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

    Restart the print spooler

    This did not help also.

I tried the list in the folder of the coil of compensation, but there's nothing in it.

I totally ideas, suggestions on how to fix this? I think that Windows had a fix for this problem on XP and Vista, but I can't find one for windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James (and all those who have contributed so far),

I found this offer on the Microsoft Answers site forum.  It's by a guy named encro.

Let me know if it works, I don't have access to a printer for the moment.  I'd be more interested in your results, whether it is successful or not.

The solution: get the spooler to start!

This seems to be a very common problem on Windows 7, caused by a recent update 'Important' within the late March/early April. I found the fix for this while working on a clients machine and noticed something abnormal in that the print spooler was not actually the print spooler it is why it wouldn't start. Now that our team have set about 20 machines using this process, I'm confident enough, that this is workaround until a future WSUS update corrects this correctly. It's still speculation at this point because log files have not really brought to this day a lot of troubleshooting help this and it can be not linked to a KB from Windows Update.

I'm still trying to determine the real Windows Update update that caused the problem to inform Microsoft of bug but the problem goes something like this:

Determine if this is the case on your computer.

Verify the existence of spoolsv.exe.org and spoolsv.exe in %windir%\system32 (C:\Windows\System32)

If both exist then it is likely the following problem.

    Compare the spoolsv.exe file size

Sometimes the real spoolsv.exe is called spoolsv.exe.org [545KB] and instead of spoolsv.exe place will actually be a file 41KO posing as the print spooler. I guess the system saved the original spooler at a given time and accidentally replaced it with something else. Spoolsv.exe should be the file 545KO at this point.

    Correction of the problem

    Step 1: Spoolsv.exe and rename it spoolsv.bak

    Step 2: Spoolsv.exe.org and rename spoolsv.exe

Rename spoolsv.exe.org here is a bit more tricky because it requires to change the property file from TrustedInstaller to the administrator group and giving the full group write permissions for the file. Without doubt, this has security implications, it is recommended to restore the permissions once the file is renamed.

By changing the property of the file from TrustedInstaller to administrator then activation full of change to the administrator group, you can exchange files by the name change and correct this problem.

I usually and rename spoolsv.exe spoolsv.bak and then rename spoolsv.exe.org to become the real spoolsv.exe.

    Step 3:

Start the print spooler via Services (services.msc) or at the command prompt by using net start spooler.
