Error: 150:30 - How can I overcome it?

On the logon attempt of Illustrator (from Creative Suite v4) on my MacBook Pro, I got error 150:30 (license for this product has stopped working.

I installed El Capitan (the new OS) and had a problem with it. I reinstalled my previous operating system OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite) Time machine and I think that caused the problem as Illustrator worked perfectly before.

Please can someone HELP?

To reinstall my Creative Suite, I would need to start with CS2 (which does not work with OS 10.10.5) and upgrade through CS3 CS4. A long and involved process which is unlikely to work as follows:

None of this is necessary.

Uninstall, and then run the cleanup tool for good measure. Reset.

Just install the latest version you have (CS4 I presume), enter your serial number CS4 upgrade (if this is the last version you have) then enter your serial number for CS3 (even if it's an upgrade). That's all you need to do.

In the face of errors 150:30, re-install the software works very well.
