  If you create a channel of the task, or scale just usuing the screw to create or Assistant session wire io is the only way to pass the info autour.  It is not saved anywhere on the disc.  A channel of the task or the scale in a project can be used by anything in this project.  A channel of the task or the scale recorded in MAX can be used by anything on this machine.  Its an extended thing.

  And Yes, the DAQ Assistant fresh extra performance overhead and the poor than the DAQmx API.  Often, it won't have the impact of a little experiment.  Large applications should avoid the express Visa.

  I am creating a task entry and exit on two different lines of the same Port. When I do this in the measurement and Automation Explorer, the port works very well with the input and output lines, but when I do it by programming in LabVIEW, I get an error in the Task.vi start DAQmx.

  

  I'd be happy if someone of you could let me know why this is happening. (As the code should be kept confidential, I can't provide the screw )

  Nitz,

  You see this error with which camera?  Most of the more recently designed devices (M series, X series) allow digital to be configured individually.  However, some devices that were designed more there only support with configurable port.  This would be true for PXI-65xx devices or material of the E series.

  I use cDAQ 9174 with NI 9401 to measure the period of the encoder.  I have two encoders and learned that I need to have a separate task for each.  Initially, I got an error telling me that the task was not reserved, so I followed the advice of the forum and added the TASK of CONTROL DAQmx, STORE of the value.  That eliminates the error, but now I have a new error 50103, which offers very few details of what actually is the error.  The seal is a snippet of the code, you see where there are three tasks, two tasks of meter to measure the period of encoder, and task of measurement of blood pressure, which in my opinion is not related to this error.

  The possible reasons: NI Platform Services: T / he said that resource is reserved.  the operation could not be performed as indicated.

• Error-229771 after compiling VI in the application builder

  I went from LabVIEW 8.2.1 to LabVIEW 12.0f1. Installation is running on a computer clean windows 7, only the 12.0f1 of labview. My request for LabVIEW 8.2.1 works well within the development system. It seems to be 3 times slower than in LabVIEW 8.2.1, but is not the problem at the moment.

  After you create an application with the Builder asks LabVIEW 12.0f1, I get an error:

  I know that several pages on the error 229771 on ni.com. None of the relay worked. The point, the vi runs within the system development, but not as an application, is noticeable.

  Anyone have an idea how to fix the prblem?

  When in a project that I am working to get error-229771 code whenever I try to run 'DAQmx create Virtual Channel (VI)' this does not happen when I create a vi not in a project.  The problem is that this project is very large and it if poster impossible to recreate. It's several hundred vi. Y at - it something that I missed in the forums and support that could explain this. I created the VI below in the project and outside the project. In the project, the error occurs outside the project, it runs without any problems.

  NOTE: This article specifies that the error occurs at startup task VI DAQmx.  You do not use the start task VI, so the task starts automatically in the DAQmx Read function.  The error will occur instead in the DAQmx virtual channel create, that you encounter in your error.

  I use a nor-6008 to perform a thermal sector and I get the error "error-50103 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:11 '. I have read other forums of discussion and it seems combe because I use the wizard DAQmx who don't properly resolve the resource when finsihed. I've dug further and saw that it is linked to an on-board clock synchronization problems. However, I can understand how to solve this problem.

  I thought that I create a loop that continuously monitors inputs and sometimes to interrogate the memory so I'm not kidding to the top of the clock. It's much harder to do than sounds. Can someone take a look at my code and give me some advice/suggestions to clean the DAQmx assistants.

  I finished by dividing my resource between the two input channels using a single assistant DAQ and dividing down the data rate and the number of samples. Works fine now.

• Error 200428 creating task in DAQmx Base

  I wrote a basic program that captures a voltage signal, plots and written to a file, but when I run it, I get this error message:

  "Error-200428 occurred at the value passed to the control task/channels is not valid."

  I enclose a copy of my VI. At first, I do not have the VI 'DAQmx Base create a task' in the block diagram, and I was getting the above error. After a search through some documents, it seems that the problem was that I had to put the VI to "Create a task" in when you use DAQmx Base. Unfortunately when I did, I kept getting the same error.

  Y at - it something I'm doing wrong here?

  You encounter this error, because NEITHER-DAQmx Base does not support unit OR-myDAQ . You have NEITHER-DAQmx for myDAQ installed, however, that supports this feature.

  "If you do not use this VI, a measurement task starts automatically when execution of the reading DAQmx VI. Automatic start of theDAQmx VI entry write determines if a build task starts automatically when the execution of the writing DAQmx VI.

  If you do not use the DAQmx start task VI and VI task DAQmx stop when you use DAQmx Read VI or VI to write DAQmx several times, as in a loop, the task starts and stops several times. Start and stop a task repeatedly reduce the performance of the application. »

  It is a runtime error, of course.  But the next symptom is present even before the race.  If trying to open any VI DAQmx or any VI containing a DAQmx VI, the façade opens as a blank white plate.  In this State, it can be closed, if the VI is manipulated somehow, all or part of the façade will appear, but cannot then close the VI.  VI (no answer) and LabVIEW is suspended and should be stopped. I made the investigations mentioned in the above discussion...

  NOTE: This error occurs only during execution of the Project Explorer.  I have
  can run the same main VI outside the Project Explorer and no symptoms

  The first answer has recommended an upgrade to NI DAQmx 9.2, which I did - it did not help.

  The following recommended response that I did a clean uninstall/reinstall procedure (obsolete), I have tried. I was left with a non-working system, so I manually removed all (cleaning registry and files) to the best of my ability and re-installed LV 2009.  Despite removing the "thought" Installer LV was already installed and ignored the facility.  Windows displays not only any software from National Instruments in the programs and features (Add/Reomev programs), so I (several times now) used the Setup program to remove the installation, then re-install.

  When I do this, LV think he is corrupt and does not load.  But it cannot be deleted either (does not appear in the Add/Remove list).  In addition, there is no directory NIUninstall in the \Shared\ folder.

  Now, I have two problems.   The original one (maybe) and a corrupted installation.

  Please help me - I'm waiting for their further transmission of Technical Support of LV, but it is slow in coming.

  Hi Ron, I had the same "error 229771 - error occurred in the software MIG" what support 9.0.2 DAQmx and LabView 2009. Technical support NOR has accompanied me through all the procedures of Correction of the DAQmx Corruption and we reloaded LabView 2009 and all drivers DAQmx. None of this fixes the problem. One of the guys in R & D OR suggested that antivirus software may be the problem. I removed all of my McAfee Security Center software and the error message 229771 DAQmx stopped and my application of LV 2009 resumed normal operation.

I just noticed that the beginning task.vi DAQmx Start is not mandatory. It seems that the Read DAQmx works whatever the weather I start the task or not. Is that correct. Do not use the start DAQmx task.vi?

  Very often, read the help... really helps:

  State transitions to start the measure or the generation to run the task . With the help of this VI is necessary for certain applications and is optional for others.

  If you do not use this VI, a measurement task starts automatically when the Reading DAQmx VI runs. The Autostart of the VI DAQmx writing input determines if a build task starts automatically when the writing DAQmx VI runs.

  If you use not the DAQmx start VI task and the task to stop DAQmx VI when you use DAQmx Read VI or VI to write DAQmx several times, as in a loop, the task starts and stops several times. Start and stop a task repeatedly reduce the performance of the application.
