Error 235

I had problems with my MSN stop working - tried to do a restore and first worked OK but did not resolve the problem then I unstapled it and now I have problems with the restoration that it starts and then says that there is a problem and closes, meanwhile I can not reinstall msn and get a message to Wizard with a 235 error code - any ideas

Hello

Here are some steps that may help solve this problem.

Click on start and type > regedit > press > to open the registry editor

Open / expand > HKey_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings/5.0/UserAgent

Inside the folder of the User Agent is a folder named "Post Platform' remove this folder and click Yes to make it appear. Close the registry editor.

Try reinstalling MSN now.

Please let us know if that helps. Mark <> Microsoft Partner

  • IF statement nested resulting in error XML

    Hello

    I'm having a terrible time, trying to get my report to stop generating errors, when I load on our server. I completed 1 of 2 reports where I used the IF statements nested, and the 1st report runs without any problems, but it gives me a headache and I don't know why.

    The source of data for this report is a query that retrieves all the data.

    Here is the code that is contained in a table in my RTF model that fails to run:

    <? for-each-group: row; /@RowNumber? > <? sorting: current-group () / DEPTID; ' ascending '; type_donnees = "number"? > <? sorting: current-group () / RECEIPT_DT;' ascending '; data-type = "text"? >

    <? If: (number (DEPTID) = 8110) or (number (DEPTID) = 9674)? >

    <? RECEIPT_ID? >

    <? RECEIPT_DT? >

    <? LINE_NBR? >

    <? DEPTID? >

    <? MERCHANDISE_AMT? >

    <? end if? >

    <? end for each group -? >

    I don't know why this is happening, I have another report EXACTLY like this, and it works fine. Let me point out that if I remove the IF statement, the report runs. But there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to use the IF statement inside the loop.

    Error message:

    "Generating report output error (235,2309)".

    Any idea on why it doesn't work?

    It was a problem of data type. I used the DEPTID as an expression of 4.0 character instead of the character 10.0 and it worked.

  • Upgrading the BIOS on Aspire V5-471 in Windows 7?

    Hi, I recently bought an Aspire V5-471.

    The first thing I did was to get rid of the operating system pre-installed catastrophic (Win8) and 'upgrade' to Win7. Then, I installed the drivers and am currently creating apps and everything.

    So I wanted to update the BIOS, downloaded, but when I try to run Update.bat, apparently I can't. It gives me this error:

    Please upgrade to the same type of BIOS (v2.x)

    ERROR 235 - check OEM has no BIOS service!

    By using a utility that I discovered that my current BIOS is V2.15 since 12/21/2012. The two BIOS available for download are newer than this and I do not know what changes have been made, but I wanted to just keep you all updated.

    Apparently BIOS for Win8 comes from the v2.x series, but I'm on Windows 7, so I think that I would not install this. (and there is the version 1.x series that is more recent than the v2.15 I)

    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, you can install the legacy BIOS * today *- but I suspect that is simply because MS didn't limit their market! Tomorrow will be another case, once that most machines have the UEFI on board. I and many others, am firmly of the opinion that the main goal is to lock down the operating system in the same way that Apple have. When / if this happens, need you a UEFI BIOS and most certainly "secure boot". If I'm just paranoid or not (and I'm not) you can do well to keep your UEFI BIOS in particular because it is more than happy to run Win7.

  • Disk error hard satellite L50-B-235

    Laptop stopped recognizing Bluetooth, so restarted, but when you start it says something to check a disk and repair the hard disk, which then laptop crashed before completing. Would not start once again, it is:
    1 past age on the toshiba screen then tell no boot device
    2 load the login screen, then past ages in front welcome saying windows preparation and loading a temporary profile. When he made a mistake shows saying Windows detected a hard disk problem. Back up your files to prevent loss of information and then ask the computer manufacturer to determine if you need to repair or replace the disk. It will then crash after 10 to 30 minutes and the blue screen with my critical_process_died error, which restarts always shows described in 1.

    I have Windows (updated 8) 10 and the laptop is less a year. I've tried various searches on google and fixes, including:
    Update of system drive where Windows is is locked
    Check disk either from the start menu or the command prompt in the temporary profile
    Changed the boot order and then back again
    Several reboots
    Open to the top of the unit and removed, then replaced the hard drive

    Nothing worked, I do not have the recovery media and not really means for the moment. This could be a real hard disk problem (it heats up during boot ups) which would mean it needs to be replaced? If Yes is that these can be purchased with Windows installed on it?

    While I update to windows 10 I have a probem with the use of the hard drive because he moved to the use of 100% and the laptop just crashed.

    I search in the Admin Panel and I discovered that I have a service called host system: local system (private network). I tanslate it Spanish which is the language was my laptop.

    Also I have a problem whit the video card because systems always use the graphic istead intel video card (AMD one). I tried to solve this problem in istalling the graphic control of AMD program, but the program doesent work better because the use of the hard drive is always more 100% and the experience of the computer laptop full length.

  • I have the error code 235 come up. I know that I have access to the internet.

    This happens when I try to sign my children in MSN. Everything started after I updated Messenger and parental control has been disabled by the process. When I tried to reconnect, I was told to add separate Windows accounts for my children. Now they can't connect because this code appears and I can't change the safety on my Windows account user as we have. How can I fix?

  • Shockwave flash 16.0.0.235 installed, there is a security risk, cannot update

    There is an obsolete page on the Adobe Flash website blocked by Firefox 35.0.1 under Windows 7. Version 16.0.0.235 of Flash is labeled a security risk, "Always enable" is grayed out. I was on the Plugins page, and there I clicked on the update now linktext. I have been informed that all the old versions of Flash in the range of version 11 are blocked. Anywhere where go to from there. (My screenshot has a piece off the coast the Plugins page over top of the resulting page when I clicked the links provided).

    Obsolete page being blocked has been received and I was able to run through the download process, but in the end, I got an error.
    I tried several times to download install_flashplayer16x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe, that downloads OK, and when I run it it downloads and installs Adobe Flash, then said: finishing and "There was a mistake."

    Flash software Glary Utilities Update update Internet Explorer, says nothing about Firefox, now I know why. It is a mess.

    I opened firefox Pei and went into the new profile Virgin I had created sometimes back. He was happily running a fully compatible version of Flash 11 (I bet that wouldn't last long because my browser's biting me in the end and disables it).

    Firefox Pei and I created a new profile today. It has this crippled version 16.0.0.235 Flash.

    It seems that Mozilla has an obsolete page telling me that all the old versions in the range of version 11 are blocked. No word on the newer versions.

    From what I've read, others are in what concerns other browsers and come with a bad Flash, too. I don't have Firefox (well, Internet Exploder, which I cut like a piece of trash since they came out with IE 7).

    Any advice? Thank you.

    This is over my head. I called the big players to help you.

  • Safari crashes without error message

    MacBook Pro (15 Zoll, Ende 2011), OS X 10.11.4, Safari 9.1:

    When I try to open Safari window flashes briefly and then Safari crashes without an error message.

    Safari seems to be trying to open a file://-loctation of My Documents folder.

    I tried to delete the preferences, history, nothing works.

    I deleted the last file I opened (all instances of files with the name, I opened, AFAIR).

    paraphrase - comctl32 is opened or used, close all applications using it and then try again.

    It is a new installation of XP SP3, only other installed software that is required for drivers and others. It's the only update that will not be installed.

  • Why my computer closes when I click on 235.mp4 or mp4 files?

    I downloaded an MP4 Player and a 235.mp4 to my download generic folder.  I now want to transfer both to another file.  However, when I right click on one of them, I get the message below, and then my computer shuts down after that I have send an error report:

    "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

    I also downloaded a wmv and wmv 235.le from the same record and was able to move. These files are sent to me by someone I know who is the creator of files, which only sent them to me.  All files have been scanned by my Kaspersky Security for the virus until they have been downloaded.
    I'm also not possible to rename or delete two mp4 files. And I worked with mov.mp4 files in the past without problem.
    I use Windows XP.
    Thank you.
    Tess

    Tess, I have another idea of what may be the cause.

    Open a command prompt by clicking Start, run, type cmd and press ENTER.
    At the blinking cursor, type regsvr32/u shmedia.dll. And then press ENTER. "
    You should get a dllunregisterserver in shmedia.dll succeeded.
    Restart the computer and check if the problem is still there.

    I have additional steps after you answer.

    When replying, please include the version of WMP that you use. You can find this by starting the player and clicking on help on the menu. In WMP 11 you must click on the ALT key to display the menu unless you put it is always displayed.

    Original title: where should I go to report a question regarding a problem with Windows Media Player?

    Hello - I just upgraded my RealPlayer and I discovered that I can't read http://217.147.235.114 or http://folkradio.ge stream in Windows Media Player now - I either get a message saying that the file for the stream type is not taken in charge, (play the stream in RealPlayer).  I also noticed that one of the icons on my desktop to an audio file (barabombi.rm) has changed its former VLC icon to an icon of RealPlayer.  What happened, and how could I have Windows Media Player return as my default player for Folk Radio and VLC as default player for an audio file please?  Thank you!
