Error 50202

I use VB and NIDAQmx program (8.5 and NI 6218) for the acquisition of data.  After collecting data about 60,000 points program crashes with error 50202 "Expalnation is not found for the requested stuas code.  Check that the required status code is correct. "I noticed that the pagefile is completely sold out indicating a memory leak.  I don't have a memory leak in the VB program section and I write the data to the HD all 16,000 points and clear all buffers. The Dell P4 computer and doesn't have the motherboard or the version of the BIOS that is mentioned in another thread.  Any thoughts?

Hi Sonia,.

Thanks for posting.  There are some suggestions that I have which can solve the problem:

  • You establish a DAQmx task in a loop?  If you are not clear the task at the end, this can cause the leak memory.  Each call should allocate more memory without erasing the previous task.  If this is the case, you must make sure to disable each task that you create in your code.  More information can be found here.
  • It would be a good idea to upgrade your version of DAQmx 8.7.2 to see if that fixes the problem.  We had problems in the past similar to this (on different motherboards) with DAQmx 8.5 and earlier versions.  More information here.
  • Some versions of files called by the .NET API DAQmx .dll can create this behavior.  Refer to this knowledge base to see if this applies to you, there is a fix that is linked in the article that the problem will be resolved if it is the cause.

Let me know if these suggestions do not solve the problem.  You are able to run the DAQmx shipping examples?

-John

    Hello!

With the help of MAX Self test or test causes error-50202. I use a PC Celsius Fujitsu/Siemens, model W370 E85 + with LabView 8.6.1. The PC uses an Intel motherboard and an Intel Dual core processor. The PC is new.

I tried to test another PC but the USB startup utility seems to work only with the above PC. On the other PC, I get the error pharsys and the boot process stops.

I also have a full equipped PXI dual core system RT that works without any problems with my host LabView 8.6.1 installation.

    How to solve this problem?

NEWS! I was testing a card PCI-6229 second and identical, but the map did not, too. And while I was there, I simply changed the slot inside the PC Celsius PCI: and the self test successful!

Here is a screenshot after changing the slot. You can even see the 'Phantom' 1 unit (where one of the cards was before).

I have to do more tests, but I was sure, that these IRQ problems are history (if it was such a problem).

I thought that the whole advantage of the setting "Log" on "DAQmx Configure Logging" functions is that all data is written directly to the hard drive without needing a buffer - I'm wrong here?

The buffer that is defined is the stamp on the card.  If you set the size of the buffer to something more bigger than the hardware can handle, then you will get an error (the task cannot be verified).

As I said before, use a structure of the event to time how long collect you the data.  Then, you can also use a stop button to cancel.

  • Error 80070002 for several updates

Hello, I get the above error message when you try to download and install several updates of windows: KB979916, KB982526, KB983590, KB2416471, KB976098, all updates and associated with .NET Framework. (That I can tell. The last update can not be.)  This happens on a laptop running Windows 7 x 64 Home Premium.

I tried several fixes such as "Microsoft Fix it 50202" the Windows Update troubleshooting tool turns on again there is no problem. Recent responses of the forum suggested DataStore and Download C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution records, but this cleaning solution also proved ineffective.

I generally find my own way out of problems such as this one, but I'm in over my head on this one. Thanks in advance.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 for x 64-based systems KB982526 is an option, not related to security which can be hidden, if you want to update.

  • Error code 80070490 while search/checking the Windows updates.

IHaving tried to solve a recent problem that occurs with Windows Update (error Code 80070490) I read and try different things that have been suggested on this forum. It appears after trying the SFC, there are a few problems with the registry that cannot be resolved automatically. I tried the automatic Microsoft difficulty he 50202 but that does not solve it. I tried a system restore, but there is no restore point before the update I managed successfully to do (31 October 2009). So finally, I tried the repair facility that suggest the majority of people. I've had this laptop since February 2009, and Vista was preinstalled. I have the DVD of resettlement for Vista Home Premium 32 BIT and have not added anything about myself, but when I try to do the upgrade to install it says it is disabled and that he needs at least a current version or the more recent than the version I am running. I don't see how it can be less common because it is the version that I've been running for 9 months and the DVD that I was sent with the laptop. I am now on the ideas and suggestions...

    Fraser,
Well restoring factory would correct any problems if they are strictly related to software.

If you do a normal upgrade to Windows 7 and the problems you are currently experiencing are the question within the registry, then it is likely that they could remain after the upgrade.  Now, if you perform a Custom Installation upgrade press she will move to your current Windows directory to a new folder (Windows.old) and then it will install properly.  Of course, with this option, you will need to reinstall your applications.
If you buy a copy of Windows 7 in another country just make sure that you get the correct language and that it is a valid copy.  (Also check the version of Windows.)  You shouldn't have any problems once you get back.  Here are some links with information about Windows 7 and upgrade considerations.

    I hope this helps.

Run Microsoft Fixit 50202.msi and choose its default mode.
After that he finished the race, see if the return code is displayed again when looking for updates.

If not, then run the Fixit once more and choose his Aggressive mode.
Restart once it is finished and see if the return code always appears when the updates.

IF malware is detected, then please post if it has been removed and that the specific name of what has been detected.
