Which brings me right to the beginning of this problem.

  I'm running 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, and have enabled the Windows updates. I use AVG and Malware Bytes to protect my system.

  You can run check disk from safe mode? This is a level of command prompt:

  Using the Adobe Digital Editions software? If so, I suspect that you meet one of the known activation errors. Often, deactivation and reactivation (cmd-shift-D on Mac) or ctrl-shift-D Windows will solve the problem.   Hello, although my computer is allowed to read the content through the ADE, when I try to open E-Books, I get the ' error.  Check the Activation' message.  I saw online that the cancellation of authorization and reauthorizing are a solution, but I do not know what to enter VendorID and password.  Is there a way to retrieve this information?  Are there other solutions here?
