  I had a lot of problems to upgrade from versions CS4 (Adobe Application Manager crash, installer not opnening etc.), but managed to get the installer to run by using the Creative Suite from Adobe cleaner tool to remove all traces of CS4.

  However, when the Setup program is finished, he said there were errors and now the installation programs does not work - neither can I run updates from apps CS that was installing.

  I normally never had any upgrade, so do not know why I had so many questions and the best way to go from here - hoping that I don't have to remove all CS5 applications, use the cleaner of the Creative Suite from Adobe yet and start from the beginning.

  Again installed upgrading java of Lion (from: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421) and restarted - all installed successffully and now Adobe Application manager works so managed to launch the first batch of updates via the CS applications.

  Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running on an Intel i7 2600 system with an ASUS P8P67 motherboard.  Intel virtualualization has been enabled in the bios.  Windows XP mode has been installed on the system and the operating system has been updated with Service Pack 1.  Windows Virtual PC has been downloaded and installed, but does not appear in the start menu in the programs list. Now download for Windows Virtual PC will not allow to install another, nor that the first installation can be uninstalled because it is not on the list of programs. Virtual PC folder of Windows in the Program Files x 86 folder has only a folder with two files integration components; IntegrationCompnents.iso and Precompact.iso.

  It should be in the menu... Virtual PC / XP Mode or something. I don't know, I don't use win7 atm
