• FPGA compilation error sbRIO 9632

  Hi guys,.

  I'm trying to write a simple piece of code to send a PWM signal to a PIN on my sbRIO-9632 (starter kit 2.0) to order a servo. I used the example of 'control a servo using PWM' and my code is pretty much the same. When I try to generate/compile the FPGA VI, it stops after only 4 to 6 minutes, saying an error has occurred. The compilation appears to hang during the process of the "card".

  The example is for a sbRIO-9631 so I created a new project for my robot Robotics and changed the PIN e/s that I use (Port5/DIO9). I search through forums but cannot find a solution to this :/

  I have attached my code and the XilinxLog file with it.

  Sorry for the late reply! Have you made progress?

  Unfortunately, your zip file seems to be disabled on my PC. How it has been compressed?

  So what I meant by remove the digital Pulse.vi to generate, is to see if it affected the compilation. Please see if you can compile the FPGA code with the following approach:

  Create the new project > add your target sbRIO > add the VI attached to this post to your FPGA target > compile

  I think it would be beneficial to you to see if the problem is the compilation itself or the code you are trying to compile.

  In addition, you have any another available PC? Might be a good idea to see if your code compiles on another PC.

  Please make sure you have LabVIEW Real-time and LabVIEW FPGA installed (it should come with the Robotics module, but I recommend that you check that they have indeed been included).

  If the build process fails to map no matter what you do, I propose the following: make sure that the target passes a self-test of MAX. reinstall the Xilinx tools (only if it seems that the issue is not with the code, but with the compilation process itself).

  for the error message personalized codes there are these assigned ranges:
  -8999-by-8000
  5000 to 9999
  500 000 to 599 999

  If I create an "error ring" in Labview 2013 SP1, then I am able to choose predefined error codes or I can put in some custom error codes. Curious as I was I chose 'Labview' in the menu drop down and looked up some error codes. I noticed that there are some affected error codes that are of the order of custom error codes (see attachment) of 538170 to 538193.

  Is this a bug or feature? What is the impact if I defined error codes customized with identical, already existing error codes?

  It seems you have installed ModBus library. As it is an additional package, picking "custom error codes" is not bad even if the library fits in LV...

  I am trying to build an executable using the Application Builder in Labview 8.6

  I get the following error when I try to run the executable file on another computer without having to install the LABVIEW runtime engine.

  We have a copy of LV2013 and several copies of a LV2011 running. A project of LV originally written in LV 2011 was opened by the LV2013 and then saved in LV2013. Now when LV 2011 tries to open the project, there are very few errors loading.

  As it appears on the pop-up error;

  "LabVIEW: file version is later than the latest version of LabVIEW.".

  An error occurred loading VI ' Series.lvlib: Close .vi 178XB BK precision.

  "LabVIEW support 9 error code: version of VI (13.0) is newer than the version of LabVIEW (11.0).

  Currently, the LV2011 to LV2013 update is not an option. Then there is other ways to solve this problem?

  Open the project (or the toplevel VI) in 2013 and go to "file... except for the previous version. Selection 2011.

• Error launching of the ' LabVIEW.Application [error Code:-18001]

  I have a TS 3.4 mind sequence LabView 8.21 - Teststeps.
  The sequence is called from a Labview-OperatorInterface.
  In a step that run 100 times before without problem I receive all of a sudden the error message:

  ErrorMessage: Error running substep 'run '. Unable to launch the "LabVIEW.Application" ActiveX automation server [error Code:-18001]

  After a restart of the software al NOR-everything works normally again.
  What is this error, and what should I do with it?
  Should I ignore the error and try to execute the step again or not this average tht the ActiveX server has been lost forever?
  How can this problem occur?

  LV2011 XP SP3

  I created an executable of LabVIEW by using a party lvlib 3rd screws (the screws in this lvlib are only stdcall (WINAPI) CLFs.)

  After you have installed the RTE of LV 2011 on the target computer, I copied the .exe and the necessary support files. When I try to run the executable, I get the following errors for each VI used from the 3rd party lvlib:

  LabVIEW: Resource not found.
  Error loading VI 'thirdParty.lvlib:any.vi '. LabVIEW support 3 error code: could not load façade.

  This 3rd party lvlib is included in the application under dependencies Builder. In addition, none of the screws to have their facades open. (They have the appearance of the default window properties). I also installed the thirdParty.lvlib on the computer target in the same directory structure that the Application Builder uses. (It is interesting that the DLL is taking in charge the CLFs in part 3 lvlib live)

  Any thoughts?

  Screws serving as the library would automatically be included in the executable, so there's no need to install the library on the target computer. It seems to me that you have a missing dependency for the DLL. Perhaps, the DLL requires another DLL? Where is placed the DLL?

  The migration begins, but it is never finished. There is always the following error message:

  I have not found additional information about this error code. So maybe someone is able to help.

  It seems that the error occurs when you try to play a file which contains the parameters of control of that Vision Builder AI generates. This file may have been corrupted and Vision Builder AI fails to write correctly. I have attached a simple VI to determine where this file lives. Make sure that the file is not present before generating the code and that you have write access to this directory.

  I checked most of the posts about this generic error code 37. Here's my dilemma... Labview 6 running on a windows NT system. This computer is on its last breath, and we want to switch to XP... I installed labview 6 on a XP machine and the program works very well... and I actually get my external device data unless I get the ERROR 37... the great thing is I can not launch a Subvi, which creates a linear between because once I get error 37, stops the Subvi. I don't understand how can I read data from my external device, still get the device not found msg. I even tried to install 7 LV and LV 8 still get the same results.

  To close the Communication port, you could create a new white vi, ask a close visa on the block diagram, he points to the port to close and run the vi.

  As for me, I managed to install academic Site license fall 2007 LabVIEW 8.5 Core DVD on Windows 7 by running the installation of all modules files (LabVIEW, LabVIEW System Identification, LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation, etc.) separately, instead of running to the main installation DVD.

  It should work now.

  Instructions to fix a corrupted in 2011 VI or more:

  1. close LabVIEW

  2. Add connPaneRecoveryMode = true to the file LabVIEW.ini (-the file LabVIEW.ini is located in the folder of National Instruments > LabVIEW 2011 > LabVIEW.ini)

  3. open the VI corrupt.

  4. press CTRL + A on the block diagram and the copy / paste to a new VI.

  5. save the new VI.

  6. close LabVIEW and remove the token of the ini (VERY IMPORTANT)

  7 restart LabVIEW and load the new VI and check that it is correct. Save
