Error deleting users
I accidentally created several users who have an attatched apostrophe at the end of the user name. The database versions are 10.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.3.0
The way I created initially users was in SQLPLUS as: create the user "SCOTT" "."
Now when I try to drop the user to the database, I have the following error:
ERROR on line 1:
ORA-00604: an error has occurred at the SQL level 1 recursive
ORA-01740: missing double quote by identifying
ORA-06512: at line 7
I also tried to place users in the Enterprise Manager Console and received the same error message.
Any ideas how I can remove these users?
Thank you!

Thank you. I can reproduce the problem in 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows.
Research indicates this is a known bug and I found this article which gives an explanation and a way around him.

This query

shows three triggers owned by MDSYS and after that the author has disabled triggers that the user could be filed.
SDO_DROP_USER, SDO_DROP_USER_BEFORE, SDO_GEOR_DROP_USER
Edited to add the necessary commands - but you should read the message

ALTER TRIGGER mdsys.sdo_drop_user_before disable;
drop user "SCOTT'";
ALTER TRIGGER mdsys.sdo_drop_user enable;

OS: Vista Ultimate 64-bitI checked my system and performed the following tasks to try to resolve the problem:
My version of Windows is up-to-date. I have no problem hardware or exceptional driver. I tried to temporarily disable my antivirus to complete the installation, this does not solve the problem. I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.
I came across the following link which has promised to solve the problem;
http://www.bing.com/search?mkt=en-us&q=steam%20error%20Win32%20error%205
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5322-QYZB-5344
I followed the instructions at three times, all with the same error message.
The default program is responsible for the following: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Steam.
I tried to load the program on different hard disks and got the same error code.
I have triple checked all user profiles to make sure that the appropriate privileges have been set (Admin). I checked all the steam program elements to ensure that they have been set to run as a program director executed. I double checked that proper TCP/UDP ports are open for the application of the steam function. http://www.resoo.org/docs/Counterstrike/steam_ports.html
Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.Hello Platinum,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Vista Community Forums.
This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).
1. check your Windows user permissions.
Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
2. check the file attributes
3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
6. check the settings of your security software
If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.
Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.
In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
3. click on the Compatibility tab.
4. check run as administrator and click OK.
5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
6. then run Steme.exe again. It will be useful.
Thank you and best regards,Srinivas

I had an account that I wanted is no longer on my MacBook Pro, so I deleted but accidentally registered as a disk image. I ejected the disk image by dragging it to the trash. I tried to get rid of him completely, and now I don't know where he is. Anyone know where it is or if it is definitively gone?
Thank you
By default, when you delete a user account and choose to save his home folder as a disk image, this image is saved in the deleted users folder users folder. Note: You need administrator privileges to delete this image.

Permissions problems after manual migration of the deleted user
I am the admin of my iMac, although there are a couple of other users. After rising problems with accidents, which does not reinstall OS X, my user account has become so corrupted that Finder would launch is no longer and I was forced to do something drastic. Not wanting to reproduce the problem, I decided to give up Time Machine restore and I have just created a new user for myself and deleted my previous user account, preserving its content.
It turns out that the copy of my user deleted to my new files was not something Apple intention we can do.
I changed the permissions on all the files in the old (deleted) user folder to read and write to my new user and applies this setting to the contents of all folders. However, I was still unable to move the folders in my new user folder - it copied instead. Okay, well, it makes everything more difficult, but I worked through it. Now that the files have been copied to my new user folder and permissions are certainly on my current user (admin), OS X still think that I don't "own" them, i.e., I can't move things and I type my admin password to be able to copy things.
Many Google searches on this issue have turned only complex terminal procedures that I'm not of course are worth risking. I hope that someone here in the infinitely knowledgeable Mac community has a solution for me. Thanks in advance for any help.
Have you changed the file property?
If this isn't the case, then you can change the ownership of the file using the chown command in terminal.Using one of the administrator account on the machine, you can run:
sudo chown - Rv User1/Users/user3/dir1 /.
(where "user1" will be the user that you want to change the property of and "/ Users/user/dir1 / ' will be the path of the file/directory or file you want to make this change to) [you might be promoted a password if you just enter the password there is no feedback that the password entered]Once the user has files that you should have no problem moving them to the users directory.

Deleted user names and passwords will not apear on a list in the form, but if I start typing them they same apear if I deleted the history. I encountered this problem on several computers: a PC with XP, one with Windows 7 and Mac so I know for some there is a firefox problem. Somehow the passwords and user names remain stored even if previously deleted. I want to sell my PC but I can not because of security risks. Of course, the problem could be solved by formatting the HARD drive and reinstall the OS, but I want to know how to solve the problem without doing. I've tried everything and still they stay... Please help me... and I want to know if anyone else has this problem. Thank you!
If the names and passwords still show in the password manager so that they are not deleted.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_ManagerIf you don't see them in the password manager, but they still fill then you either they have saved in form or you have an extension that has saved this data.
See remove the navigation, search and download history on FirefoxYou can check the form data saved with this extension:

I can't open my Dungeon of docs word any error message "user lacks access privileges.
I can't open my imported word docs Dungeon receive an error message 'user lacks access privileges' ideas of what she may be contacting Apple and they tried a lot of things and tell Microsoft that the docs are corrupt and nothing wrong with the word 2016.
More info, please.
When you say that it is "any word docs", do you mean another user on the same Mac, another Mac, an earlier version of Mac OS X, an earlier version of Word, another type of computer, from another type processor, or something else?
These documents are currently stored in your Documents folder, into another directory user on an external drive, on a server, or elsewhere?
You do it on El Capitan? What version of 10.11.x?
Your copy of the word 2016 is perfectly up to date?

System requires me to identify you as a deleted user
When I restart my Macbook Air with El Capitan 2013, the system pushes me to log on as a user that have been deleted. It shows the login name and the icon that is correct for the user, even if the user has been deleted via the preferences system and the user's home directory no longer exists. It wont let me connect you as any other user. There is no 'back' arrow and no box to type the user name. Only the icon of the user and the password box. I have to enter the password for the deleted user, then a progress bar appears and slowly fills up, then shows the standard connection interface where I can type the username of my admin account and log in normally. This happens at every reboot. I tried to recreate the user with the same user name, then delete again via system preferences. This did not help. This is a standard user, not admin. What is a weird problem. Please notify.
Anyone else had this problem?

Creating or deleting users with OI simple
Hello
For my simple OI, I wanted to add a method of creating or deleting users. I didn't like how to call the createdeleteusers.seq seq.
Instead, I wanted to trigger via a simple OI button activation.
So I created one under that VI called user manager that allows only simple (prechecked in IO) administrator to create or remove users. The teststand engine reference should be passed to sub simple IO vi.
attached is the sub VI for the creation or deletion of users, is the right way to do it?
I use LV 8.2 and teststand 4.0.

Hello
Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore deleted user account in Windows XP. However, you can use your favorite search engine to download third party software that may help you to restore the account deleted.
Note:
Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Error 1051: User profile Service has no logon
Mr President.
I use a real operating system Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 with my laptop Lenovo Y430. I have recently updated to SP1 to SP2 Windows Update online. last week when I tried to log in one of my user accounts, the above-mentioned error popped up on my screen. on further verification, I found that the "user account" does not exist in the c:\user\(account name folder). I could not find the same in the registry editor "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList".I've traveled all your forums to get help, including http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215. even installed the "Microsoft Fixit" given on the same page, but it did not help. I even tried to restore my system to an earlier point.
In addition, when I tried to stop/restart the "user profile Service", the same mistake invited each time. but when I stopped/restarted the "user profile Service" after the removal of the user of the control Panel\User account account, the system didn't invite me with the error. and then; even after the service is restarted, and then creating a new user, I was unable to login with this user account.
now I find myself with a single administrator account to work with
Please suggestThank you in anticipation
