• Function of memory in the loop control and Simulation - problem of the ODE Solver

  I'm correctly using the control loop & simulation to simulate the behavior of what is essentially a shock absorber-spring-mass system. In the process of change in time (dt) is used to integrate an arbitrary value. I use a rack depending on memory to store the time, to calculate the change of time (dt).

  The simulation is quite complex, because of the precision required, not all the ODE solvers can all support. Currently I use the Adams-Moulton method, this works very well for the simulation. However, it cannot detect the change in time, the change is constantly zero. This problem has auto market by using an another ODE Solver, but then the simulation has been messed up instead (even when I listen to the step sizes and tolerances). So I'm pretty confident that Adams-Moulton is one of solver ODE best suited to the problem at hand.

  Is there another way to store the previous hour and use it calculate lag, that the use of the memory function? Everyone knows about these problems before?

  I did a lot of research of error using the probe, but I'm sure that there is a problem with the ODE Solver and memory function. See the image below, showing basic how is calculated the change in time.

  I'm pretty new to LabVIEW, so if there is something else I missed I would be happy to hear it.

  PS! I set the tolerance minimum step of size/relative and absolute for the Adams-Moulton to simulate the behavior of the system properly.

  It turns out that the ODE Solver has struggled because of two "table 2D find" used functions. This was created for the interpolation/extrapolation, which caused a problem constantly and the ODE Solver could not resolve correctly, so the functions of memory doesn't work does not correctly or the other.

  By increasing the table manually, I could use closest method instead, with also good results as interpolation.

• Simulator BB 9700 OS 5.0 error popups on load - failure of the catastrophic Assertion, an Access Violation

  I have a problem with the OS 5.0 based simulators, I get the following error popups a few seconds after the start of the Simulator. An MDS service is running. This particular Simulator is BB 9700 5.0.0.54 5, but I have essaye.400 and even 5.0.xxx BB 9000 simulators and get the same result.

  I tried running the clean.bat, but it did not help. Other simulators 4.x OS would be fine, it's just 5.0 sims who do this. I also tried to uninstall, and then reinstall 5.0.xx different simulators and it can run ok once, but after this, I get these errors again.

  I have several installed simulators as I need to develop/test on different models. Also have the Blackberry JDE 5.0, Widget SDK 1.0 (these errors until I installed these however), Java Runtime Environment SE 6 update 20, JDK 6 update 20 installed. I have the log file failure.zip, but do not have a way to download it here.

  Well, since nobody offered any assistance, I continued to figure out my own it was. I tried different versions of simulators 9700 and 9000 on computer of other colleagues, she also gave the same mistakes as the screenshot above, so I assumed that there is something interfering with the simulators on our work PCs.

  Then I tried to use a new BB 9650 Simulator w / OS 5.0.0.621, and it worked! There is something that is "fixed" in this Simulator not appearing in the 9700,9000,8900 w / OS 5.0. It is also much faster to start vs others. I hope the Blackberry administrator can speak on what is different and this clear in their other simulators OS 5.0?

  In regards to KB 2770917 updates, I already installed it on my Win 8 as well as others (I keep the OS always up to date). So it has not really helped but thanks.
  On the tip of the gob0nkers is not really the case here, because I don't want to set a wallpaper of single lock for each user (in fact I had already read his answer to the question of ch). So far I have found no article on the web by offering an effective way to work around the problem.
  What I've done: created another user profile and abandoned the old (who introduced the problem). I think that it is related to the file the user AppData or something.
  So far things are working well with the new profile of the user.

  Without a doubt, test the model. I joined a project that can help.

  While it is generally true that 1uOhm of resistance should not make a difference in a 'real' circuit, you're dealing with a behavioural model.  Modeling approach, the model may or may not be affected by small resistance added controlled sources.  A few branches inside these models can conduct current kA, amplify tensions 1000 x, etc..

  If the file has the extension .cir (i.e. import as a netlist PSpice and translated to the old format of netlist AWR), try to change the extension .sp, then import it a model HSPICE.  If it works, it can behave better.  Please see this chapter in our documentation for more information on importing cards: https://awrcorp.com/download/faq/english/docs/Users_Guide/importing_netlists.html

  I use Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider for storage in the database file Microsoft 2000 (.mdb file) for the past two months with no problems, now I get the error '80004005', of Exception occurred in the Microsoft JET Database Engine: could not open the database. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. I study some forums but could not get a definitive answer as to why this might be happening.

  Please, help me to understand this error so that I can avoid losing data in the future.

  It is impossible to say when the problem occurred, but as Dennis said that Jet is not a robust database. It falls particularly in situations where is is called to manage large sets of data or be accessible from multiple users at the same time.

  In terms of alternatives, they are many if you want to go this route.
