  If you mean that you can not activate automatically, try to do it manually:

  To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

  Have you tried to restart by phone?

  If you see error 0xC004F061 when you try to activate Windows 8, this means that you are using a product key for an upgrade of Windows 8 version and a previous version of Windows wasn't on your PC when Windows 8 was installed.   I had my house computer lock up when installing a windows update and my sister in law pulled the power cord to stop it. When I restarted I got no start menu or other items on my desk. I used Acronis as a backup, for a few years so I thought I was safe make a collection with her. Instead of check my backup file for corruption, I just started the process, and in the meantime, I've eliminated my existing operating system. I can't find my OS drive and wonder if I buy another disk XP Pro, can I get my Microsoft activation number to use the same?

  Thanks for posting. You will need your XP key to reinstall somehow. Microsoft cannot provide you with a new key if you have lost.

  I have been subscribed to the Services of Cloud PDF specifically export to PDF format. I bought it online and never received my product key or product identity number so I never activated my products. So I have to connect online before I can use whatever it is as affixed via a download Office to sign. Adobe support works in square circles and keeps bringing you back to the previous pages without giving you the desired information. I'm extremely frustrated can someone help me?   You can sign in French - Adobe ID here. Make sure you use the same Adobe ID, in which you have a subscription.

  Choose plans & Products > view all > Products > see your products, you will find your product and serial number.

• I have cs3 and cannot get to work on 8.1 windows.  Can I download a trial version of fireworks and use my product for full activation key?

• Halo 2 Vista Error Message "invalid product key".

  I bought Halo 2 for Vista last week. I installed, updated with the latest patch and connected with my Live account. When the program tries to download my Live profile it gave me the error "invalid product key". I contacted the seller on Amazon and told him my problem. He contacted Microsoft and verify that the product key was valid and he told me to reinstall and make sure that all software is up-to-date. I grabbed a spare hard drive and install a new copy of Vista and done all updates to Windows. Then I installed the latest drivers for video card, I installed Halo 2. I downloaded and installed the latest patch for Halo 2 and the last program of Windows Live. After all this (about 3 hours), I still get the same message. Anyone at Microsoft have a solution to this? I get the message after logging in to my live account inside Halo 2. I googled the question and it seems to be quite common, however, I have yet to see a fix. Help, please.

• Windows 7 reinstall "invalid product key".

  I recently started a computer fixing for someone, they got three Dell Optiplex 755 desktop computers, and I got a few pieces of each of them (hard drive, processor, ram cards). I got the computer to boot, but since it's so old and I don't know what is the file system and it is a bit slow, I tried to reinstall Windows. I have the disc to install Windows 7 Professional x 64 and went to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery\Advanced recovery methods then clicked Reinstall windows. It restarts with the disc and went to the screen configuration, but then stopped and said that you can not install Windows because it has an invalid product key. Don't know why it does, but when I got to do start back when I also got to put in it, it says that Windows needs to be reactivated because of hardware changes, so in PowerShell, I typed in [slmgr-ato]. It worked, and after a reboot the lower right corner of the Office had more "Is not a genuine copy of Windows" on this subject, so I guess it worked. Can someone help me?

  I need to fix my Windows XP installation. I used a Windows XP from my subscription "ActionPack" installation disc to repair an installation on a Dell Latitude. When you fill out the repair facility, he asked me for the code (25 characters) Windows XP.
