Error/issues installation 11g R2 under Win7 64 bit ultimate Ed

I know that this question may have been published before... but I'm also having issues installation 11 g R2 in Windows 7 edition full 64-bit with 4 GB of RAM.

He is constantly givine could not check in prior audits:
-Physical memory failed
-Failure of the available physical memory
-Swap size failed
etc.

One of the message that failed says:
"
Physical memory - it is a prerequisite to check if the system has at least 922MB (944128,0 KB) of total physical memory.
Expected value: n/a
Real value: n/a
List of errors:
-PRVF-7531: physical memory may not be performed on the node «M - PC»
-Cause: Failed to perform verification of the physical memory on the specified node.
-Action: Ensure access to the specified node and view the memory information.
"

Added loopback and the hosts of update in system32 file... Run the installer as administrator. Put the zip files in a central directory C:\tempload\oracle11gR2\...

Am I missing something? Question of access somewhere? I had to run Notepad as administrator to update the hosts file...

Please advise...

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Seems to be a bug. I also got these messages, but after installation and everything was fine.

  • LV2010 32-bit under Win7 64 bit - SCC provider not found

Is there a work around to use a provider of Source control with LV2010 32-bit under Win7 64-bit?

It seems that the VI 'Raspberry find all Providers.vi' does not work with the OS 64-bit due to registry access restrictions.

The Key.vi of open registry is not able to analyse below HKey SOFTWARE but the full path is SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider\InstalledSCCProviders.

    Best regards

    Christian

By reading this thread http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LabVIEW-32-bit-and-Vista-64-Registry-Read/m-p/978676#M438513 , I was able to get a work around.

I replaced the version registry key VI opened by the ".vi ACI - WinAPI - open registry key (WOW64 support)" within raspberry NI find all the Providers.vi and now I can choose the SCC provider installed via the LabVIEW IDE-tools >-> Source code control-> configure source control.

  • I have Win7 64 bit ultimate and from time to time when I start PC my card reader drives do not appear in my computer.

I have Win7 64 bit ultimate and from time to time when I start PC my card reader drives do not appear in my computer. Device Manager indicates that they are working correctly. Sometimes my dvd drives disappear. I have to do a system restore to solve this problem. For some reason any Win7 has problems with storage devices. How to stop these dissappearing from my Computer(or not getting a drive letter assigned) storage devices?  It's very frustrating. And, System Restore is not a way to solve this problem, it's just a quick fix. I have three internal hard disks, three hard drives, card reader external drives, USB keys, disks, etc. I need a way to solve this problem when it happens. So far, happened about 9 times in the last six weeks since I installed Win7 64 bit ATU.

There may be an update of the motherboard BIOS to solve the problem.

Otherwise, as your card readers are no doubt attached via USB the usual way to solve this problem would be to uninstall the drives and the USB controllers and devices in the system restore.

  • Hard drive does not correctly identified under Win7 64 bit and the blocking of access to the disk.

I use a Maxtor Ultra 16 L01F500 SATA, but Win7 (64 bit) is to identify it as a SCSI drive Maxtor L100P0. He not only identifies by mistake, but also blocks access. I get an error indicating that the location is not accessible. Under computer management, the drive is there and gives the correct size and format (NTFS - was previously my main drive until I upgraded to Win7) when we look under properties. Also, Windows shows the drive is healthy and active. Don't know what to do to get access again (I have admin access to the player thought that would help). I also ran the disk error checking and it showed no errors. You don't know why Win7 has misidentified or why it will not allow access. Any info or help would be appreciated. I can't seem to find the drivers for the drive, otherwise I would have tried that. Thanks for reading.

In disk management, remove this disk partitions, and then create a new partition

  • 64 v29 and v26 under Win7 64-bit Firefox bit every night are so slow for broadcast, only 4% of the BW otherwise directed by sam of firefox running Win7 32 bit.

Under my Windows 7 64-bit OS, I installed the Nightly Build v28 and v29 "internet speed test" and each time, I can only achieve something < 2 Mbit/s for my home WiFi, router gateway that is subject > 56 Mbps. The only Nightly version work was v23 which could reach nearly > 52 Mbit / s. But once I upgrade to higher version v23, all speeds normal I could achieve in nocturnal v23 disappeared. The same issue also plagued firefox v26 under Win 7 64 bit.

For more information, this does not apply under Win 7 32-bit OS - the same v26 firefox works fine for pure speed of BW near and > 56 Mbps. Why not in 64-bit OS seems to be the main issue?

What is going on? I appreciate watching you in and help out me on this dilemma. Thank you!

    Sincerely
    My Shao

Hello Shao Ma, when using speedtest.net or a similar site based on flash to measure your speed of connection, then it could be a problem with the protected mode that adobe has implemented for its flash plugin for firefox. Some older versions of f-secure or report of trusteer are known to cause slowdowns with flash, or it could be something similar on your system that interferes (maybe security software that block/sandbox the container used for protected mode, etc...).

as a solution, you could try to disable the protected mode and see if that makes a difference.

in case you want to solve the problem more far, it would be preferable to contact adobe support and file a bug at bugbase.adobe.com report (choose 'Adobe Flash Player' as the product & 'Browser Integration' as being the product box), since they will have to better understand the inner workings of flash protected mode and therefore knows what else could be the cause of the problem you saw.

    Hi spyman1871,

Try the checkdisk Defragmenter and disk running from the command prompt.

Step 1: Checkdisk to run as administrator command prompt

    To do:

    1. go to start and type cmd in the search box.

    2. right click on cmd in the list and select run as administrator.

    3. click on Yes in the user account control prompt.

    4. If you want to repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume: / f, and then press ENTER.

Note If one or more files on the hard disk are open, you will receive the following message is displayed:

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. You want to schedule this volume to check the next time that the
    the system restarts? (Y/N).

Type there, and then press ENTER to schedule the disk check, and then restart your computer to start the disk check.

    5. to fix the errors, look for bad sectors and recover readable information, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/rand press ENTER.

Step 2: Run the command prompt Disk Defragmenter:

To do this, type the following in the command prompt window.

    defrag c:-v,

where C is the drive letter. You can choose according to the reader like you would to run disk defragmentation.

Note: the command quick application shows no indication of progress, so be patient.

  • Flash Player only installs on IE 9 Win7 64-bit

I tried almost everything this forum suggested but Flash player just will not be installed. This is my story. A month or two there, flash just stopped working on IE 9. I uninstalled it but now I can't even download it. Then click Download now, it's that it displays flash.png and nothing ever happens. I reset my settings to Internet Explorer. Under Tools, security, ActiveX filtering is uncheck. Under Manage Add-ons I don't see the Active x for the flash module, I guess that this is because flash is not installed. I even made the entire file Subinacl and reset.bat but I am unable to download flash. Currently, Flash works fine on Firefox which is what I use now. I don't have any COP cookie Flash or any other software installed that blocks of flash. Am I missing something? I really don't want to reinstall windows. Is there another way to solve this problem? I use 32-bit IE and 64.

    Thank you.

    Chris,

This problem has been resolved finally. I thought about it later. Some how the registry has been locked by the so-called FlashBroker.

As you can see the logs below. The way I fixed this was to use ComboFix. I just ran the file and cleaned the system and corrected all registry problems. I am now able to see flash on IE. I'm sure that someone is finally meet this issue again once so it will be useful for you and others to know how to fix it.

    Thank you for your help.

How can I get directx 9 to install or my games to work?

You have a disk to install the game to the game that requires DX9? If so, then we can try to install from the game disc. Insert the floppy disk in the drive and when the AutoPlay window opens select 'open folder to view files '. You should find a folder called "DirectX9c. Double-click this file to open it. There will be a folder named "DXSETUP". You can double-click this application to run it and it will install DX9c which is required for your games.

  • Reading of FireWire under Win7 64 bit

    Has found the key.

Since the upgrade of last year Windows 7 64-bit, my reading RAID firewire (which had worked well with HDV, AVI, Quicktimes, clips MJPEG) seems to slow in first CS5 so bad I thought it was usless.  Found various forums discussing this same problem with the transfer via IEEE 1394 cards file and saw that I was not alone.  Most of the solutions proposed MS engineers and others was to restore the pilot from 1384 to one entitled "Legacy".  It worked for some, but not all.  And in my case, music reading, even at a resolution of 1/4 reading, stuttered and stopped.

Well, I found the reference to a manufacturer of firewire cameras that had their own driver and it worked for some people.  Gritted my teeth, disconnected from my readers, installed the driver and VOILA!  I now have my old return flow.  Layers 3 peak-to-peak on the timeline, played as "Wow!"  Even forward and back in the timeline with the arrow keys don't miss anything.

So this seems like a 'thing' not Adobe in anyway shape of Microsoft.  If anyone has this same problem go to:

for the 64-bit drivers Firewire.  Made my day!

    Rick

This is how to do as well. Unibrain drivers for my FW800 and FW400 my legacy drivers.

  • Win7 32 bit ultimate updated for Win7 64 bit Ultimate and using transfer files with an external hard drive

    Yes!

It's a question more difficult - it may be a 'set of proceedings' for this!  Those with over all the evidence must not present... sounds like old Rooster Cogburn speaking!

So, let's have some fun and see who can really take over this issue!

Obviously, this link is fake: http://www.intowindows.com/windows-7-installation-procedure/

Why you ask... mainly because you need support your proof!

    :-)

    Thanks to you all.

PS: There are 2 internal 1 TB drive and an external is 1 TB.  Two license keys are available ;-)

No, there is no procedure in one click for her...

    1. There is no way to upgrade from 32 to 64 bits. You will need to clean install 64-bit.
    2. Easy transfer requires a computer to work at each end, not a computer attached to an external drive, because it is easy to transfer must be installed and running in the appropriate bit for each operating system version.

As you have two internal drives, it should not be hard to install 64-bit on what is currently the second disc, ensuring that you first disconnect the drive that contains the 32-bit operating system.

Subsequently, you can reconnect the 'old' data from drive and transfer of starting from one to the other, but just do NOT use Easy Transfer.

To finally get rid of 32 bits, you format the partition that contains...

    Not too difficult, huh...

Hope you find a solution for me.
