  According to the message, that it is only the permissions issue, go to the location and make sure that you have read and write access to the Temp folder.

  Once done, then try to open Lightroom.

  In the upper left corner of the main window close the model name, there should be a drop down menu that has "sync with LR Mobile" as the first option. From there, you should be able to disable it.

  I guess you know where your file catalog (lrcat). In the same folder is a folder of lrdata of previews that you must delete or rename in the Explorer, then start LR again.

  After a horrible experience with the upgrade of Windows 10, I re-installed Windows 7 Pro and had to reinstall all my programs.  When I try to install the retail DVD of Lightroom 6 version, I got and error message that Lightroom does not support the Vista operating system.  This is NOT Vista; It is Windows 7 Pro x 64 SP with installed updates.  Installation stops there and will not continue!  I then reinstalled my old version of Lightroom 5.2 (who has updated to 5.7) without problem.  How can I bypass the installation process that incorrectly detects Vista?

  I received the following error message in Lightroom 4 "this version of Lightroom may require the line camera Photoshop plug-in version 7.3 for full compatibility.  Please update the plugin using the update available in the Help menu of Photoshop Camera Raw. "I have the latest versions of Photoshop and Lightroom.  I don't think I should get this message.  Can anyone help?

  Have you updated Camera Raw version 7.3? When you install Photoshop CS6 Camera Raw 7.0 is installed. There is a process of updating, you need to have version 7.3. If you have not done this then you will get the message that you receive.

  I, to the best of my knowledge, did in the Security section of the Control Panel, adding to the list of exceptions in Lightroom.  However, it did not connect.

  On a Mac OS X 10.11.6 I try to print an Epson R3000 in lightroom 4, I get an error message "filter has failed." This started after I installed an epson P800, which works very well. I was wondering if lightroom has a problem when two epson is installed. The R3000 prints of other applications, just can't print photos of LR 4. Ask yourself if this problem would exist even if upgraded to LR 6? Impossible to get someone at Adobe talk to me on the phone re LR 4.

I hope that someone can help you.  All of a sudden, I get an error message odd when I import into lightroom 4.  "File could not be copied to the backup location.  I can click OK and continue to work as usual. I see my pictures, everything seems ok. When I export, backup works fine without error message.  I get nervous on error messages in LR.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

  You have the option checked to create a backup copy of the images imported in the import dialog window? If you verify that your username has write permissions to the folded selected as a backup location.

  Or just uncheck that option and test.

  After the reinstallation of Lightroom 6 on my second computer, I get an error message that the license limit is reached. I uninstalled the application without logging out of it. So now on my main machine, I am trying to sign of Lightroom and I get an error message disconnect 255:255 (see the screenshot).   This problem occurs especially when there is something wrong with the FTP settings or the server is defined.

  Could you please make sure that there is no prefix "\" or post set in the path of the server.

  What is the error message?  You can install version 3 without having to install version 2.  You'll just need the serial number of the version 2, when you go to turn on version 3.
