I have a mac with os x 10.6.8 version I get a page not found error message in my q every time I try to print

We can reset the printer on your computer, then download the latest drivers and software from the printer from Canon USA to see if this will solve the problem.

To reset the printing system, please follow these steps:

1. go on the icon of your Apple in the upper left corner of your screen.

2. click on System Preferences.

3. click on print & Telec.

4. right click your printer on the left, then select "reset printing system". Note: If the right click does not work, press on and press and hold the

control of your keyboard and then click the mouse button.

5. If your printer is still on the left select your printer, and then click the minus (-) button to remove it.

6. restart your Mac.

Then please click here to access the drivers and software page for the PIXMA MG5420.  Once the initial download to your model page, follow these steps:

1. check that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop is correct and if this isn't the case, please click on the drop down menu to select your operating system.

2. then, click the red arrow next to the "DRIVERS" section and click on the file to CUPS drivers. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click the box below the button DOWNLOAD, and then click DOWNLOAD to start the download. The time for the download process can vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.

Once you have downloaded the file to CUPS drivers, please follow the steps above to download also all other elements of the section of the CONDUCTORS.  If you plan to use the wireless printer, you also want to download the Canon IJ Network Tool from the SOFTWARE section.

Once all the items are downloaded, please double-click on each of the elements to be installed on your Mac.  Please ensure that the IJ Network Tool is the last item installed if you install the wireless printer.  Once all items have been installed and try to print.

    My iPhone is loaded and updated iOS are downloaded to the phone.  There are 10 GB free so space should not be a problem.

    Software update confirms 1 update to download and it is for the iOS 10.  It shows the preview of iOS 10 features etc.  When I confirm the installation, I get an error message that says: "unable to install the update. 10 iOS installation error.  Retry.  Remind me later. "  It gives no other details.

    Does anyone else have this problem?  I use the beta on my phone - do I need to uninstall the present?

    Thank you! The security.tls.version.max had been "user set" with a value of 1, and I have reset as you indicated. The value is now 3 and I could access my Blue Cross account normally.

    I guess that dates this problem when I got my new computer and did a new install of Firefox to August 10. The TLS parameter is perhaps one provided with the download.

    BTW, I noticed BitDefender in the news of the page also. The error page didn't identify its source; 'other info' led to support from Mozilla, but I was wondering if my antivirus was the culprit. Apparently, this is the setting in place of security of Firefox.
