Error message installing driver Windows 7 missing on Aurora R4

Hi all

So my factory installed hard drive seagate has failed me and I swapped try it with a SanDisk Ultra II SSD.  However when I went to install Windows 7 from the Windows installation disc that came with my R4, I get an error of missing driver prevents the installation of windows. Windows asks you a floppy disk and I have the original driver disc Alienware, but it doesn't seem to help.  Any advice to get windows to install the driver so that he can install windows on the new drive?

The value of the BIOS:

SATA Mode = AHCI Mode

= UEFI boot mode

Win7-DVD should start now.

For installation of Win - 8, if the SecureBoot option is available, it should probably be activated.

    Hi DACL.

    ·        What is the full error you receive when you try to start the machine?

    ·        You did it all change hardware or software on your machine before this problem?

You can restore the system to the Windows recovery environment and check if you are able to boot to the desktop. Follow the steps in this link to boot into the Windows recovery environment and select the system restore option.

  • Error message 'Install' everything is damaged by doing a clean reinstall of the MasterCollection_CS5_LS4.dmg on my MacBook Pro.

    Hello
I get the error message "Install" the file is damaged. MacBook Pro (20102), the system is OSX10.11.2 El Capitan.
    I own the MasterCollection_CS5_LS4.dmg since 2010.
Occurs when I try to install from my backup disk (I kept the original download as a copy on the external hard drive).
I have now also redownloaded the .dmg together once again and got the same error message.

    Second:
By logging into my account, it only shows me the order number and the price I paid, but does not give me the option to download from there.

Anyone has an idea on how to get this race?
    Appreciate your comments.

    Hi John,.

a friend gave me the solution, the old CS works perfectly on the new SSD and the OSX El Capitan
Go to privacy and security in the system preferences.
On the general tab, it should say allow applications downloaded on. Select anywhere.
    Then try to reinstall.
It worked for me and I put the security preferences back to the original configuration.

Made me a happy camper :))

  • Re: Satellite P200-1EE - displays an error message in the windows Boot Manager

I left my laptop alone and down for a few hours and when I'm back on him shows an error message in the windows Boot Manager.
It says unable to start windows and a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. It asks me to insert my windows installation CD, and if I n t have the CD then to ring for help but unfortunately I really can t find a number at the present time.

    It also reads this:
    File: \BOOT\BCD
    Status 0xc000000f
Info: an error occurred trying to read the boot configuration data.

Does anyone know how to deal with this, or this happened to anyone before?

This error of "Install black cartridge" is usually caused by a piece of packaging material that remains on the cartridge. The document below should help you to solve the problem. If this does not work, try to do a hard reset. If neither works, let me know.

    Hello

always check the compatibility of vista programs on the link below

If a program is compatible with vista you can try right click on the setup.exe, and then selecting run as administrator

It is not compatible with vista, you can try running it in a previous operating system mode

I have download the drivers for W7 on the Netgear site, but the wizard would not complete the entire upward. However, I thought would try to use the original installation, (vista compatible) and to my surprise and my pleasure worked.

  • Error message on my Vista computer: missing or damaged file: C:/windows/system32/drivers/ATAPI.sys. (Status: OXC0000098). NO RECOVERY DISK! (lost).

Missing or damaged file: C:/windows/system32/drivers/ATAPI.sys. (Status: OXC0000098). NO RECOVERY DISK! (lost). How can I recover my system, if possible? It does not even start.

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

If the system restore does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  The Startup Repair tool can repair atapt.sys.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (click on the F8 key during startup and go into safe mode with network - or using the prompt from the disk, if necessary, several times).  Then we will check some of your system files:

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator (skip thiis step if you use the disk)...

Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  In a best-case scenario, he'll fix Atapi.sys.

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  It will scan and try to solve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a cause.

If it does not, then thanks for posting any repetitive error message in Event Viewer on startup (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / event viewer - type eventvwr and enter, if do it from the command prompt).  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html.

I hope this helps.  Post back the results of the analysis and attempts to repair if these do not work.
