ERROR MESSAGE ON START UP

Hello:

When I turn on my computer, I get a black screen that tells me that: "windows did not start successfully.  a hardware or software development could haved caused ths.  If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically closed down to protect your files and folders, select last known good configuration to return to the most recent settings that worked.  If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the power or reset button, or if you do not know what caused the problem, choose start windows normally.

safe mode

safe mode with networking

safe mode with command prompt

Last good configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)

Start windows normally

Use top and down arrow keys to move the selection of your choice.

If I select or start windows normally, safe mode with secure mode or networking with command prompt; I get a number of messages: multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition 2/windows/system32/drivers/many different combos at the end (IE agpcpq.sys).  After the messages, it does not go further.

If I select Safe mode, it goes to the microsoft windows xp startup screen and it's there (as if it were the treatment, but do not move a plus) and then finally goes back to the origanal black screen with options and the message above.

I don't have a lot of fixing of computer knowledge, and I don't want to spend much money to get it repaired (as it is a low-cost netbook).  can I fix it myself or it it disappeared. Thank you for your time and your response.

    Hello

It seems that something is corrupted in your user account.
Have you tried to repair the operating system or to clean the registry with CCleaner?

CCleaner is a free tool that cleans up the registry and removes the garbage in the HARD drive.
    Try this.

Otherwise, you can check the msconfig-> Startup tab.
You should look for some entries containing the imagusud.dll file and may disable or remove this

    Hello

Sounds strange! As a first step, you should try to back up your data with a floppy Boot or Boot CD (www.bootdisk.info).

Then you should try to sett your BIOS back to default settings.
Next step is to try to find your laptop! If there is an error message that your HARD drive is damaged!

I try already and my system is configured to boot from the cd first dvd room.
After that start the DVD vista sytem shows the error 'windows couldn't start error Oxc0000001.

It is not a DVD - RW SATA is?

If you need Intel drivers Matrix to exploit your readers to drive HARD and DVD - RW, DVD - RW SATA won't work properly (owners of Intel motherboard you lucky guys don't have this problem). Need to install drivers of matrix for the DVD - RW being recognized (the egg before the chicken scenerio), hence the need for an IDE DVD - RW.

Second, make sure that the BIOS can identify your DVD player correctly. If shut down you the computer and it stops, stops and restarts when you restart the computer again, the BIOS has not yet saved the change of equipment.

  • Receive error message when starting Photoshop CS3

I get the following when starting CS3 error message:

"This application has failed to start because CML4.dll was not found."

The title of the window is, "Photoshop.exe - impossible to locate item.

Of course, the only button to push is the 'OK' button (which should probably read - something f - d upwards.) Press here to continue.) After pressing the OK button, CS3 starts and works without problem - until now.  I guess that I have not actually used the part of the program that uses CML4.dll or do not see the difference with or without it.

How can I solve this problem - without having to reinstall PSCS3? and why is it in the first place?

CML4.dll is not part of Photoshop.

It could be a driver of printer or scanner driver DLL, or perhaps by a third party plugin.

  • Error message when starting. C:\WINDOWS\system32\gijsgkuj.DLL specified module could not be found.

This error message has appeared for some time now, but it does not seem to harm my pc, other than very slowly.  What is the feature of this module?  Do I need for normal use?

    johnedr1,
You can check that you spelled the file correctly?  I wasn't able to find that everything about this DLL.  If you have any specialized software it can be part of that.  But something during startup tries to call this file and find do not.
You can make troubleshooting by performing a clean boot.  Here are the links that will explain the process in detail.  Short of this, you disable the elements of all Microsoft and if the error Stops, then add points back until you find the program\process which is the cause.

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    2. were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Put the computer to boot and check if that helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: follow step 4 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

  • 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close' this error message on start up of the computer.

Hello, I have tried to find others with a similar problem and so far have not found that everything about my specific situation. I found how ever that this problem was mainly caused by some type of problem with a variety of .dll files in the directory system32, and it seems that this problem has different effects depending on the cause of the problem .dll file.

My problem is caused by the file user32.dll (or so it seems). When I click on the blue link in the error it say "to see what data this error report contains, click here." gives me the following information.

    AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: Modname 6.0.2900.5512: user32.dll

    ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 00009de9.

In addition, in this screen is a link to view technical information about the error report, but it is not allowing me to copy / paste the info, and there is a lot of it.

I use windows XP service pack 2, I believe. I also tried to install the automatic updates, but that none were downloaded and installed solved the problem. This problem started to occur after I inserted my CD (which is very, very old) Guild Wars. Don't know if this will help. Also, it seems that the only thing that that is rampant in this error is my taskbar, I can simply move the message to the bottom of my screen and use all the other features on my computer with no problems at all, but its still a problem annoying.

I hope that this information will be enough for you guys.

    Thank you
